Slt, nous sommes à la fin de la 2ème semaine. Les plantes semblent se developer normalement. Il y a un léger décalage entre les pieds due au retard pendant la germination, mais sans conséquences pour la suite. J’ai noté tout de même une très légère brûlure sur une ou deux feuilles, probablement due à un démarrage trop tôt en nutriments, à corriger pour les prochaines sessions. J’ai aussi baissé de 5% l’humidité, je suis passé de 70% pendant la 1ère semaine à 65% pour la 2ème. Maintenant je vais stabiliser à 60% pendant toute la période de croissance. Pour l’arrosage, je n’ai presque pas arrosé pendant les 2 premières semaines, ou vraiment très légèrement avec un peu de pulvérisations foliaires. Maintenant j’arrosage avec 0,50cl par pots, je pense 1 fois ou 2 par semaines, je verrais, et j’augmenterais petit à petit avec la croissance. Voilà c’est à peu près tout pour cette semaine... Week 5 already? Plant is struggling to catch up after such that two week lag period where it didn't do a thing. Still, things are starting to get encouraging so now watering every day at 2 hours after lights on. Added a webcam to the tent to watch what is happening. Noticed that at 12 hours after lights on, the leaves would start to wilt. Flooding at that time didn't have any noticeable effect before lights out, so I added a flood at 9 hours in (half the period). Pushed the wilting back to 14-15 hours after lights on, and just a little now, but still not completely solved. Grew from 2 inches to 7 inches this week!

I will call this the 2nd annual Polar Express grow. Really happy with the result of the grow over all. She did 3 days dark before I chopped her. I put her into dry whole, a little slower drying time. I'm hoping for a good solid couple oz from this harvest. The first tile I ever grew was this strain, the stress of the first grow was really unwarranted. If you are looking for a first grow strain, Polar Express from Auto Seeds should be on your list. 2.3 OZ trimmed , pretty happy over all.

Harvest day First day of dry 10/2/25

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. This is the 2nd MSNL strain I have tried and the genetics are great. She got the longest time in the tent as she is a standard photoperiod and the rest of the grow where fast flowering photoperiods. I trimmed her after 16 days of drying and got 35g of decent buds and 9g of ok buds. Power used for whole grow in 114 days. Lights=201.7Kw (201.7×0.25)(=£50.42) Rad=212.23kw (212.23×0.25)(=£53.05) 201.7÷114=1.769kw per day light average. Average 100w for veg Average 150w for flower. Light average for grow 125w. Week 18 Daylight 12h40 - ☀️7h40/20h20🌙 🌈Weather changed a lot during this 2 week, alternating sun and rain with medium temperature: low in the morning 8°C and 22/24°C the afternoon. Cold wind: Autumn is coming soon! 🍃 This is the middle of the flowering cycle for 2 plants and the beginning for the others; and it’s harder than I imagined. Interminable war against pests: caterpillars and leafminer flies (+ guest :aphids). However the environment is clean, there is some sticky traps, ventilation and preventives treatments (Neem Oil, Garlic/Laurel) but infestation are a recurring problem 😩. Majors reasons of the proliferation are the hot temperatures in greenhouse, the quasi inexistants natural predators, humidity, plants proximity. September is the reproduction period of the cabbage looper: a butterfly which lays eggs on plants giving some hungry caterpillars. Some others pests are attracted by the nitrogen added in soil (batguano) I did a serious defoliation, continue to check the plants morning and night to catch intruders, sprayed regularly with Neem oil. For the moment the flowering continues. -Brake Pad Breath: plant has definitely changed of physiognomy, branches are covered by a lots of resinous flowers with a pretty good smell. Indica dominance. Around 3 or 4 weeks till the harvest. It will be long: the plant is a victim of pests and caterpillars and lots of leaves are damaged. -Flash Back#2: elegant plant, pretty good flowering since 3 weeks. Globally healthy despite of the pests aggression. Sativa dominance with long internodes distance and a vigorous stretch. -GMO x Zombie Kush: same difficulties against predators, late flowering, just initiated the flowering process but in a good way. -Royal Moby: the tallest one; around 170cm, not really adapted to dimensions of the growing space and not discrete. Plants was really shocked during the first wave of pests and after the sunburn. Beginning flush, its actually week 12 I think. Missed 2 week's to the flu. The girl's went through some rough patches but not looking to bad considering my issues with LED lost two weeks of prime flowering, had to substitute CFL's for 2 weeks

Seeing some mixed coloration on the leaves, not sure what that's about specifically yet. But going to let her keep growing to see if she grows out of it. If anyone on GD has other suggestions feel free to let me know what's going on. Water only mainly so far, but gave a little Recharge this weekend too.
