Week 3 of my soon-to-be purple ladies! 😻 Everything was going well but I noticed these issues: - The girl on the back is stretching waaaaay more and is less "leafy" than her sister. Perhaps she has more sativa in her DNA? - Leaves on both girls love to twirl around, specially on the girl on the front. - The stem on both girls is still weak and the girl on the front no longer needs the extra help she needed! Weather where I live is getting colder for some odd reason (it should be the opposite, damn!) and the "purple" is... perhaps starting to show a little? Things really looking good this week did a major defoliation to help with light penetration. Backed off of the Big Bloom because I noticed the tips of some of the leaves were burning. Buds are now starting to form nicely. Very little smell still. Since this is my first inside grow with autos I would love to hear some feedback from some more experienced growers.

Blue Cheese F1 automatic Week 6 2/9-15 The Cheese gals are in full flower, the buds are puffing out and stacking. I even see some lower buds connecting to the upper buds and some pistils are turning brown. There is some smell when I open the tent. The F1 genetics are reflected in that these 2 plants are almost identical. I don’t see much difference in their growth so far using the different mediums. Soil and soil/coco blend. Maybe harvest will show a difference in yield from each one. Time will tell. On 2/13 I did major defoliation on my Cheese gals. I removed all large fan leaves and any leaves shading bud sites. Initially, I thought this would be my last defoliation, however I have heard that 1) they continue to grow new leaves until day 20 of flower and 2) there must be enough foliage on the plant to photosynthesize energy. Well, I hope I left enough leaves for energy to keep bulking up the buds. Stretching has slowed down. Both girls grew only an inch and now 17 inches. This is only the end of flower week 2. Controller is set to flower. I add 2 gallons of water to the T700 humidifier daily to keep the VPD in line. 2/9 & 11 4 gal fed 2 liter each nutrients added at ½ of recommended amount. Making 4 gallons since I have 2 pots of carrots and a Dill in the back. Hey people! ✌️✌️ So, at the time of this post, it's day 60 of flowering. 🌸🌸🌸 We're nearing the finish line. This week, the seeds started popping out in all directions. Feeding remains unchanged: AB 20ml/5L. Today, I noticed some scary numbers on the runoff, measuring at 2500ppm. Next watering, I'll give them plain water. I'll continue feeding until the very end. The taste of the buds isn't our focus in this grow, and what kind of buds can we expect anyway? I continue to train the big plant as it started leaning to one side. I've tied it to the pot for support. My bet is that in 2-3 weeks, we'll be harvesting, collecting seeds, and running some bubble hash. There's a new addition to the grow box. I added a Barney's LSD auto since it's outgrowing my small box. I also planted 7 no-name seeds that came my way by chance. Curious to see what comes out of them.
