Day 49 - lookin good..... been bending her, trimmin abit, messin with the water solution..... ph and ppm have been all over the place..... lol she's been transitioning from grow to flower, and once she settles into night mode, the solution and growing should stabilize...... the new fan is cool... tents working properly now, neg pressure, drawing in air behind the floor fan, blown around the bottom, and cpu extractor fan pushing the air out the top of the tent, straight into the filter..... really nice way to run a little tent, low airflow........ keeps the impurities out of the buds..... the stalks have all tuffened up since trimmin, and pretty strong now.... should hold the full weight that's about to occur all over the place...... i've simplified the nutrients, they were gettin alittle confusing, so started doin nuets differently, .... so, just making my own nuet solutions, nothing fancy just base amount of normal elements .... should be a pretty good christmas ...... Blue Shark is looking fab! Still a darker green than everyone else. There are 2 videos this week, one where I explain how my plan for a tomato roof using materials I already had didn't work out, and the 2nd being about the rogue who grew in my pea bed (whom I affectionately call "Rogue One") who has been raised almost exclusively on my homemade compost. I had people who were concerned last year when I made my own compost tea from the compost in my pile. People were concerned about bacteria, nutrient profile, etc. I feel like a lot of people get really regimented in their feeding, and they sort of forget that these are plants and they can adapt. They take what they need if it's available. I moved away from using mineral salts this year because you have to be careful with so many of these fertilizers so that you don't burn the plant, you have to flush it so you don't get a harsh smoke, mineral salts causing lockout, etc. If you stick with products that are natural you don't really have to worry about nute burn. You don't have to flush for an extended period of time before harvest. You don't have salts building up in the soil that are detrimental that you have to periodically flush and then add beneficial microbes back in. There is another way.

The germination i forgot to take pictures so i just have a video of the first 3 strains i started before the other seeds arrived. I used the same metod for all of them 24h in the glass of water after that 48h in the cotton pads in the zip lock bag with 3 sprays of water on the cotton pads and 1 spray when inside the zip lock bag is closed untill 80% leaving a small gap for them to breath. I decided to plant them after that in the final resting pot for this strain in a 5 gallon fabric pot. I used the following media on the bottom of the fabric pot i used 10% of Goldlabel HydroCorn after filled up with Ecothirve coco (70% coco 30% perelite) and i made a hole for my potting soil where i used Advanced Nutrients coco cultivator (50% coco 30% perelite 20% pebbles) and i mixed on the media some Azos , Mykos and Great white. The light Schedule for the first 5 days was 24/0 After that is on a 18/06 light Schedule. Just water the plants on the 15/06 i think all my seedlings are stuned because my light is too strong for them and the light is dimed to 25%. And my light meter for lux is saying i have 8600Lux converted is 148 and my DLI on the meter from the phone is saying 150 so its 3x times more the recomended i just dont understand if this phone app is working correctly. So i have decided to put one more seed directly on the soil beacuse they look the most stunned of them all on the 14/06 still didn t germinate i will keep the one is gonna grow stronger thats why there is the dome. Update on the order from spider farmer from Ebay (Order the item on a thursday and the order was not updated on ebay on the following Monday so decided to contact them to understand when i am gonna receive my order i was told true ebay that my item as been shipped and i will receive an update within 1 hour to tell what time the item will be delivered. So never received any message giving me time slot delivery. Never received the item and at 21pm the tracking updeted on Ebay saying delivered so i contected them next day to be told that the courrier actually lost my order and that they will reshippe the order again but was told i need to wait 2 buiness days for the warehouse to processe my order beacuse they are busy what i replied that why should be me the costumer that needs to wait 5 or 6 more days for the order to arrive to me that they should send me the item on the same day and send me with one day delivery. The ansewer was they could not do it so i cancell the order asked for a refund and never more use their products appailing costumer service)

At the end of last week, finally flower indicators started to show and these week it went more. Day 32: I sprayed them with Rhizotonic this week. This will be the last week for sprays. I don't like to spray my plants while having buds on it even thought it is organic. Always make sure you spray from below the leafs. They will uptake it better and also spray some above. With the lights off. Did some defoliation again and removed some lower internodes which will be crappy buds anyways. Made a video of my feeding bucket as well, in case some of you wonder how I feed all those plants manually. It is a pump with an gardenhose attached. Thats it for this week, Until next week!

Weight wise Tastebudz Bubble Runtz out produced Ethos by 16 grams with 129 > 113. However, after drying Ethos has become more dense and less sponge like than Tastebudz

Day 40-47 (May 31st- June 7th) (Day 41) For the first time in this grow these plants are looking halfway decent. Smell is ramping up too. I finally feel optimistic about this grow. (Day 42) The two jacks and the chunky blueberry are showing early signs of N/Mg deficiencies. I know it’s late in flower but since I’m experimenting with this tent, I’m going to give them one final feeding of nature’s pride 2-5-5.5 (tbsp) along with a teaspoon of oyster shell flour and some rock dust. Everything else I’m going to give a teaspoon of rock dust and oyster shell. There is no way these amendments will fully break down in time to be used by the plant but they could at least use the pH buffering and trace amounts of minerals after their recent leach. Everything but the BAOGC is covered in pistils that don’t really match their bud size. I hope they fill into their pistils because an over abundance of hairs drops the bag appeal like crazy. Over the last few cycles, indoor and outdoor, I’ve definitely learned that different strains and phenotypes mature at different times. Sometimes really radically too. (Day 43) None of the plants are fading at all but they’re still looking good. Black garlic I know should be fading but remains dark green and toxed. I popped a developing seed out of the main bud too. I wonder if that blueberry herm branch pollinated it at all. It seems like plants don’t really like that Destiny dark matter soil by itself. I find it works better mixed with coco or promix 1:1. (Day 44) I’m starting to think I might be mixing up the TWOG and BAOGC. BAOGC took forever to fatten up last round and the 2 phenos I suspected already look done. I was thrown off by the similar terps. The beauty phenos are definitely TWOG (Day 45) God these Jack Herer’s smell good. Nothing but fruity funk. Almost like a vanilla or blueberry yogurt. I would say this stuff has the most overpowering smell in the tent now. I’ve noticed they’re starting to foxtail like crazy. Blueberry#1 too. I’m watering a final low strength feeding of seaweed extract on everything. (Day 47) Everything really fattened up this week. Even at the beginning of the week I was saying I didn’t think they would fill out. Jack Herer and BAOGC specifically made some big gains and nearly doubled their density and still have quite a way to go on them too! The smell has ramped up and finally, everything is looking happy and healthy.

Had some issues, she got too big for her 5 gallon pot. Her roots were poking out of the bottom of the fabric. Had to transplant and prune the roots. Now she’s in a 20 gallon and she’s being flipped to flower. As you see she bounced back just fine.
