Auto watering has been set up but I’m still hand watering 🤔... waiting for the buds to swell. D31. EC 3.0. Starting to smell sweet and citrus. D32. EC 3.2 D33. EC 3.3 plants are responding well. Daytime temps at 78 degrees RH 55%. Nighttime temp at 73 degrees RH 55%. D35. Some pistils are turning orange. EC 3.3.

Sep 21: fall is here with 12 h of darkness and hopefully she picks up the flowering pace while the weather and sunlight are still okay. Sep 27: this sativa pheno is progressing but it is a bit too slow for this area. If I had forced it with 12 h darkness in mid-July it would have worked, but instead I just phyto-forced with a 730 nm far red light starting about Aug 1. The red light is enough for the indica type plants to finish in time here, but it doesn’t seem to be enough for the sativas. Whatevs, I have more than enough and this will all be going for hash anyway. Sativas can be grown here but they need to be forced by light deprivation in July and not just phyto-forced starting in August. Sep 29: two week forecast is suddenly much better so she’s still got a chance to finish properly. Fingers crossed. It hit 0 C here last night and daytime high of only 8-9C so we’re mostly done for the season.

Welcome to final week for this very fun grow 😊 We are 4 weeks later and I'm happy to say the buds have improved very well. They all look fantastic and very frosty. I did a 10 day dry in a growing tent with a fan on and a much needed carbon filter 😂 The buds went in the curing jar a bit moisty but very close to perfect. I opened the jars 3 or 4 times daily the first week and it was okay. After that some moisture fighters and I cut the last sugarleaves to perfection. After 3 weeks they are cured fantastic. I have around 80 grams from 2 plants but one gave 75g and the other 5g 😂 Jack 1 was a very small plant and her sister Jack 2 is the biggest girl I ever grew with 1m 10. The taste is spicy and herbal and the smoke is very smooth. Leaves a nice aftertaste on the tongue. A spicy hint, bit woody and skunky too Effects are great. More focus and motivation an very uplifting. Puts a big smile on your face... but if I smoke a big one or 2 I'm also very relaxed and pretty hungry. This strain is made for chilling out, gaming, watch movies/Shows whitout a too hard couchlock. I never was about to fall asleep or too stoned. Think its also perfect for when u smoke on a festival. I'm happy with the outcome. It's my best grow so far and for my first autoflowers I'm convinced on this kind of plants. Will defenitly grow this one again . The Northern Lights suffered from budrot and was thrown away. Not gonna review it and give bad ratings. Was my fault and I already have a new free seed from RQS when I ordered something. Been a good week, did a few upgrades to get tent as automated as possible and it's been going great now that I can make changes anywhere instead of rushing home or asking for help to turn off or adjust 😆 Is it possible to start getting foxtail mid flower? Ending 4th week now. Bubble gum ice cream showing signs. Lights are about 36" away from canopy and dimmed to 75% [photontek 600w pro] Very powerful, been tempting to lower to 50% as it gets pretty warm. I have 8" blowing out and a 6" blowing in the tent to keep positive pressure and constant air flow. Let me know what you guys think, any comment or feedback is appreciated and welcomed. So the plants survived without light in my garage for 2 days, thank goodness! FBP2 is the best plant by far. She had stacked lots of tight buds, orange pistils coming in nice. Nice bushy structure to her. Super happy with her progress. Royal Critical is doing great, progressed further than all the others so far, lots of orange pistils, curling inwards towards the buds, still white pistils too, so not ready obviously. Not as dense a structure as FBP2, but much better than FBP1 and FBP3, which you can see are way behind both the others. They're looking super straggly. Not sure that they'll improve much at this stage unfortunately. Still I'm pleased overall with this grow, as it's my first and I have learnt a lot about the necessity for LST, and genetics being different from plant to plant. Hopefully we'll be able to harvest the Royal Critical here soon, then FBP2. As for the other 2 plants, I guess I'll have to wait and see.

The plants officially entered the explosive period of the growth. They're absolutely loving life, and despite the overexposed colour in the photos their green is absolutely healthy. They are growing low and bushy, which is perfect because I want to mainline all of them At the end of week 3 the plants are almost ready for the first topping, as you can see they doubled in size in just 3 days.

Had to go another week in veg but damn these plants look good! Transplanted 2 of the snowcandy late and put them in 5 gallon pots instead of 3 gallon and I’m using dry amendments for these 2. The other 4 will be fed liquid nutes. Switching to 12/12 next week!
