And im in first flowering Week since last sunday, so far i really can't complain. Everything looks healthy and fine. Plant 3 is still kinda weaker/slower and Plant 4 seems to want to do some sativa things and grows up like hell but oh well, at least Plant 1 and 2 just grow as they should. This week i made the Bio Tabs compost tea for the first time and the plants seem to love it. Each one received 500ml if it. Can't wait to see the results at the end of the run. Again thanks to Bio Tabs for sending it out so i can test it. Humidity was pretty high because of constant rain this week, but it seems like i have made it through it, now just to make sure to finish this run before the summer heat will come. I removed a few leaves here and there because they were stacking or blocking light, i will defoliate in 1-2 weeks for real. Sadly Plant 4 needed an even higher stool then last weeks, so it's on the same height as the others. It was getting not enough light this deep down. That is also because why the scrog net does look like it does right now. I try to make it more "appealing" tonight, but i don't want to break anything and it works like it should right now, so yeah it looks stupid but it's alright. When I began the contest I had only grown Magic Melon once before (last winter), it grew in an 18 litre pot, became around 4 feet tall, and completely filled a 3'x3' tent. A friend of mine successfully grew a seed I gave them this summer in a container about 4 litres and the plant was considerably smaller. The fact that it can be successfully grown in less than 250mL is astonishing, I have buds from the one grown last winter that are bigger than the can I grew this one in. Harvested 91 days from sprout.

Ich habe die Royal Highness länger in der Wachstumsphase gelassenwie gedacht. Aber die Pflanzen sind recht empfindlich und erholen sich nur langsam von diversen Eingriffen. In 3 Tagen werden ich die 3 aber endlich in Blüte schicken, ich hoffe sie bilden im Laufe der Zeit nicht mehr soviel Verzweigungen aus. Meine Growbox ist nun halbwegs ausgefüllt mit Trieben.

Plants came back out of their 36 hours of darkness and were a little droopy, so I made the decision to put them outside for the first day of light. Unfortunately they suffered from wind burn so I brought them back to the tent. Foliar fed the plants daily at 400PPM.

I am harvesting Ztrawberriez autoflower. She grew in a 1 gallon perlite Ice cream bucket. She did excellent under the Spider Farmer SE3000. The worst issues I had was keeping her moist. She did really well. I am eager to try her out. Ginger nut cookies 30th Jan 2020 I got a bit carried away a couple of days ago and whilst trying to be a smartie pants and Lst the two heads of the plant, I accidentally broke one off . In my defence I did immediately chuck the broken stem into some rooting powder and then a rockwool cube. If it takes I'll have two plants but still I was annoyed with myself. Now that I had only the one top , I topped it so that she can fill out and create more tops. This week I fed some High tea, and watered in a little epsom salts for a magnesium Hit. Second week of flowering. I have more than 50 bud sites in the 4 plants. I added 4 more 15w lamps (1350lm) to help the led panel that was small in the new tent. I didn't do any more defoliation and they are growing a lot every day. I am afraid to enter the tent in a few days and the plant will try to smoke me Good week everyone and lots of flowers

Sadly Zkittlez #2 will no longer be with us. I had to make an executive decision to remove her. I really wasn't sure what was going on. I noticed that her stem were extremely soft and really sticky with a strong chemical like smell. Being that her stem were extremely soft, I could see how any buds would be able to grow. Since the other three girls were in late bloom and doing extremely well I didn't want to jeopardize their progress in late bloom. She was only a week younger than her sisters. R.I.P. Zkittlez #2

This strain is performing like crazy. My god, she just wants to go and go and go. See the difference with the previous week, it's going crazy in this tent. I had some space to fill because one of her roommates turned out male. More about this in my Xtra Kush diary. But fill up they did, I turned her around, for the change of scenery, but also to let the longer side branches fill up the space in the scrog. And did she. With all these bud sites, the rapid growth of flowers, this strain is having a good time. Very happy with how my soil recipe is performing (see the yellow image in earlier pages), none of the crazy stories of going hermie when stressed. Just some T. L. C. and this strain outperforms anything I have recently grown. But this SP-3000 is just a beast of a light and we owe much of this success to @MarsHydroLED, who was so kind to let us try their light. Its week 11, Harvest time!! .... or is it? Well, i can tell you - absolutely not. 💩 #3 is well into flower right now, but i dont think she's gonna come down for another 3 weeks. She's def. the furthest along though. I'll be using the thrichoscope end of this week i reckon. #2 and #1 are both just barely getting started in their flower, so they will probably run for another 5 or 6 weeks at least. i've got good hopes for plants 2 and 3, and also feel like the light-intensity experiment is really giving me some solid results. (the one with the least light is #3, whhich even started to flower much sooner than the other two, i feel like there is a link with the scarcity of light energy it receives. anyone here that would confirm or deny such an idea?)

She is much prettier than she was a week ago :) I remembered that I have my first grow light, which is more compact and it will give me more space, so I changed my light, now the girl's side branches get light too:) I add a lot of video memes, because I really want to win Iphone16 pro ;) and those who don't take risks don't drink champagne:) good luck to everyone.

The temperatures, humidity, and watering listed in the grow conditions are averaged for the week. The pH listed in the grow conditions is the soil pH. Nutrients listed in that section are ml/gallon of soil. I didn't include water in grow conditions as it rained almost all week. I watered one time and listed in the daily updates. Day 1 we had sunshine and a lite breeze. Day 2 and 3 we had sunshine and a lite breeze. Day 2 #3 plant succumbed to her injuries, R.I.P 😥 Day 4 we had rain showers I'm the morning and throughout the day. The plants roots appear to have found the ferrous sulfate I added last week 💚 Day 5 we had rain in the early morning, drizzle and afternoon showers. I added an additional 50ml of ferrous sulfate top dressed. I also spread just enough peat moss to cover the ferrous sulfate to prevent the rain from splashing it onto plants. Previously the rain splashed granules of ferrous sulfate onto the leaves, burning them. I used 50ml or 2ml/gallon of soil. as I've only got about 25 gallons of soil. I'm waiting to top off after this excessive rain is done. Day 6 we had intermittent rain, drizzle, and mist throughout the day. There's a bug haunting plant #1. I can't find it, so most likely a cricket or grasshopper. It's beed feeding on this plant since day 5. Stakeout for the kill has begun. Good news on day 6. The ferrous sulfate has brought the soil pH down to 6.3. There's still a small phosphorus excess but these girls will grow into it. Day 7 we had rain all morning into the afternoon. Pots are soaked. The insect, I suspect to be a cricket, remains a pest. It ate more of #1 plant on evening of day 5. Despite the adversity these girls are growing. Plants doubled in height this week and overall the week has been a success.
