Man. 12 hours trimming fuck man and I'm moving on to photos now lmao I don't even know what I'm getting myself into. My goal into this venture was to learn how to grow weed ,not only for myself, but just as good as dispensaries do too. And with the way this plant turned out I gotta say I'm really getting somewhere. The resin on the plant was incredible. I kept scraping off my pruning shears with a razor and making little hash balls I'm gonna throw in a blunt later. And the smell! Oh God it's so strong when I was trimming I swear I was getting a temporary buzz just inhaling it constantly I loved it and the smell. Almost like a fruity cat piss type of smell wonderful. Will be adding a pic of root ball in the morning after a well earned night's sleep lmao

In general I'm very happy growing this strain. The germination rate was 100%, all 3 sprouted, even though one ended up dying after some weeks. My fault here, she grew upside down and when I moved her she didn't reacted well. The growing conditions were initially a little unstable as I couldn't find the right balance between temperature and RH, having the latter one constantly too low, making me buy an humidifier to keep the level higher. Well, too high in the lights off period, and when distracted could reach up to 99% RH, which isn't good. Again, lesson learned for the next grow. Maybe I've defoliated the plant a little too much and that might have also affected the crop a little. When it comes to feeding, didn't use so much plain water, the feeding were nutrient based all the time. Not sure if this had any negative effects in the plant. Was fun to train the plant and I learnt a lot about topping. To be fair, I don't know if this was what affected her final crop or if I stunned her in the last defoliation. Quite inclined for that option.. After all this, finish with this amount of bud is ok and positive lessons were taken for the coming grows. Overall I think I made a few beginner mistakes that affected the plant growth and flower, but again, having no pests, plagues, or any diseases was already a very good accomplishment and I'm really looking forward to start the next grow, and enjoy the smoke from this little one after drying and curing. As it was the first diary ever, was very fun to do it, and helped a lot controlling crucial parts of the growth. Definitely will keep posting here my future grows. by far, the biggest bud i ever grew. temps. up to 42c . short, bushy, cherry/wood aroma. i grew it without fertilizers, only a little bit of worm castings0

Last week, first of flowering, was outstanding, I could water the girls regulary and the work paid off they stretched a lot and are looking super healthy. The girl right below the upper fan is suffering a bit with the shadows and is notoriously shorter than her sisters, I will need to rethink the air circulation for the next grow. Another concern of mine is their height, hoping they dont stretch anymore as the lights are already at maximum possible height inside tent and there is only 20cm gap between it and the plants.

Day 144 23/09/24 Monday (Start of week) De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with calmag today. Seeing her starting to really take shape now, buds forming well, trichomes now flooding in. She's looking good 😍 Day 146 25/09/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 today with Plagron PK13-14. Day 148 27/09/24 Friday Feed again today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with calmag. Day 43. Change the dose of nutes to medium flowering, I consider that the stretch period is no longer so remarkable. I also add 10 ml of Plagron's Green Sensation. I raise the ppm to 700, I think I will keep this level until the flush. pH at 5.9 She is full of trichomes, is very sticky and every day increases her smell. Not much to say about this week. I realized that using Green Sensation and increasing the water level of the reservoir maintains a more stable pH, I only dedicate myself to pouring 0.75 liters with water pH 7 each time it drops from 5.8 You can see that the buds start to get fatter little by little ... I hope that it forms some tight ones 😁

After a lot of research I realized that my plant needs more food. I increased the PPM to 700PPM and plant seems to love it. Also I started spraying with Neem Oil and Copper Fungicide since I noticed some rust on the leaves. Also this week I added Roots Accelerator.

Looking very good, this ladies are breaking the shield within 48hs since planted as I was expecting, let's see how my beautiful queens develop on this "little run" on a 2x4! Growing with a tsl2000 by mars hydro! 👨‍🌾💯✌️ Stay tuned guys.

D57/FD29 - Thing going grand with the Cookies so far (enjoying growing these Cookie Based Strains). Smell from it is divine! Touch a stem and its a lovely citrus smell left on you for ages! Noted in a previous comment, like a perfect sweetness, fresh lemonade. You'd wear it as an aftershave alright even!!! :P They're drinking a ton but not taking on as much feed (as I've come to expect now in flower) so dropped the base and bloom by 10% (same recommended ratio of 1:1) and kept the PK9/18 booster in there at what would be recommended strength for this week...its the same as last week but week 1 (week 4 of flower) of PK9/18 should have been double...didn't want to overdo it as when I used recommended strength 1st time I got it, it created some serious root zone acidification (Which could have been all the K getting used up but was a mare getting the pH up from 4.something every day!!!). Did my usual root flush/wash before adding feed as the EC had crept up to 2.2 (and I know from experience, that starts messing with your numbers if you don't wash that out right) and took about 50L-60L to get the tank to 0.3EC (base is 0.2) was was a lot of salt sitting on/in the roots. Had a ton of underscreen dead leaf to pick up and just cut some wee straggly offshoots (I know, bad idea this late in flower but they were basically dead/no nutritional value left so basically a bug magnet). Still waiting on Bluelab to send me the RMA approved pH pen...been 2 weeks now since the RMA was approved and still no postage - using an "essentials" pH meter and just dipping in Calibration Fluids between each feed add to ensure some accuracy (As you can see from my recipe page, I like to know what the feed does to the pH - also gives an idea on what they're feeding on when you see pH swings in a different direction that expected). Geeklight also got back to me. In all fairness, I've been dealing with them direct (Got the light fixture from Alibaba, direct from China - big gamble, right???) and they have been more than helpful. I have been telling them about the light randomly coming on at 5% (lowest brightness) and provided evidence; turns out someone else now noticed the same issue with the Remote App controlled variant too and they believed it was a loose control board/wire. They said they did some stuff and that fixed it but I also thought mine was fixed by forcing the dimmer to 0% and it still randomly happened (even though it didn't do it for weeks) so the other person may still get a surprise!! 😋 So, I took out the driver today, pulled out the control board and all wires seemed good and no looseness in the control board (although it does look slightly bent as the Spade for the IR/UV switch isn't fully bedded in). But, like I say, in all fairness to Geeklight, they're posing me a new control board tomorrow from China AND giving me the longer driver cables so as I can put the driver outside of the tent! Give me a bit more room for my Flower Initiator (and hopefully UVB Tube) and great to see them honouring the Warranty. RHC Seems to be flowering nicely as can been seen from the pics. Stacking well, buds coming along. Slight pinkish tip to the pistils on some buds but not the shocking pink as you'd see in the sales pics...hopefully it goes there though! Also noticing a bit of an early frost on a few flowers...like real good frost! And this is only day 1 of week 5 (I know, I do this diary arse about face)!!! Hoping Geeklight get this driver control board and longer cables to me quick so as I can get the driver out of the tent as I'd really like to get the UVB in there to frost them up in a week or 2!!! May only be getting about 9" clearance though so dunno, could be dangerous!!! 12" is the lowest recommended...but then, I could do the 15 min burst lighting (On 15, off 45 min every hour) so lower the risk of burn but get them more exposure (but lowers the lifetime of the tube). They get UVA from the LED's on the light at the moment for a 1/3 of the day and have been since early veg so should be hardened to it by now!!! Anyway, think that's enough s**te chatted by me!!! So far I keep training back the branches to keep the tops even, they’re responding well. I might top the middle plant this week if I am going to top her. Kicked up the base nutrients and added in a few root boosters and bud dandy to prep fo flower. I’m probably 2 weeks from flowering, but I should be transplanting near the end of the week and moving into the flower tent a few days later.
