Day 40 of bloom. The stench is so loud it smells like a juice bar in here! Out of 5 Runtz plants I can already distinguish 4 distinct phenos. Two that smell like pure candy (probably the zkittlez influence), one that smells like earth, mint and baked goods (very reminiscent of thin mint gsc or even dosidos), one that smells like straight cherry coke and one that smells exactly like Gelato 33 (citrusy and fresh)! So yeah, pretty excited.

Plants seemed super short coming into week 3, I've raised the light 60cm above plant to encourage some stretching which it definitely has done this week. I'm watching the plant closely as moving into week 4 could mean moving into flower... They look pretty happy. Watered every 2.5 days, leaves and soil misted with ph balanced water morning and night. I'm toying with the idea of throwing in some far red light for 4 hours to see if it helps develop the plants more. 29.01 Far red light ordered aswell as a UV bulb. Plants seem to be doing ok, noticed a few leaves on RC#1 had curled tips so held off on watering for 3 days which seems to have done it some good. Snapped a lower branch on RC#1 during LST, wasnt a clean break maybe 60%? I've glued it back in place to see if it will bounce back. The brand feels floppy and lifeless at the moment but I've supported it properly so hopefully couple days it will repair itself. RC#2 also fell victim and lost a fan leaf.

The photoperiodic Tangerine Dream has flowered super fast and efficiently, it is full of resin and has hard flowers, very hard I dare say like never before or almost. I do day use and therefore I look for more of the sativa effect when the plant is sativa. @FAST_BUDS, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. 2nd week into flowering and she stretch a bit. Had to lst the sides more to get the middle nodes strecthing.. only fed tap water every 2 days as needed..kept an eye on the temps and humidity . 60°-80° / 40%-55%. .so far no issues. Easy enjoyable organic grow only using kindsoil super soil and cocoloco bush doctor with some cover crops alfalfa and clovers...some companion plants dill,basil,cilantro, clovers in a pot next to it to repel all sorts of critters....will update next week on the growth. Enjoy.

I put 4 or 5 new LST clips on her to open her up and she has already grown a LOT since doing so 4 days ago!!

More Flowering! The rest of the strains started to catch up, but nanners started showing in the hermies and TP started to overripen with orange hairs. I would've gone extra days if there were no nanners, but it wasn't worth it to risk seeding the nugs, I'll just have to settle with more larfy buds. Going to start flushing next week.

1 of the bubba kush & 2 of the gorilla zkittlez are a little behind but over all everything seems to be going good so far! Day 10 update transplanted all the ones in smaller pots to 5 gallon pots except 1 of the bubba Kush it still needs a few more days! Everything else seems to be going great!

Medium: 🥥🥥🥥🥥 Coco remains as the most manageable medium in our arsenal. It’s simplistic, similar to conventional soil but as a nutrient neutral medium, it’s also much more tailored to the growers preferences in terms of feeding. It’s best attribute is excellent drainage and consistency - a lot fluffier than soil which definitely translates to faster growth rates. It’s a damn shame that this particular grower forgot the cardinal f$&@king rule when it comes to any grow - always water to run off and pay attention to the strength of the feed in relation to the plants growth stage. If we had followed these basic principles we wouldn’t have run into the serious late stage burn that almost toasted the whole plant. On the flip side of that, coco flushes out incredibly well and if not for this attribute, the whole grow would’ve been an unmitigated disaster. Method 🎚️🎚️🎚️🎚️ Uggghhh - hindsight f$&@‘n sucks sometimes. Best descriptor for how we grew this girl - imagine having the dinner table set with your finest china, a bottle of the most expensive red wine you can find, a brand new top-o-the-line BBQ, and then burning the absolute f$&k out of a $40 prime rib. That’s exactly how this grow feels... We were looking to scrog it the whole time and this went perfectly. The plant helped quite a bit with longer than expected internodal spacing. This allowed for a really even canopy/bed of buds. Again though, the vipar 450w (truly a 200w~) shit the bed mid veg. And we needed a replacement. Went with a 100w SpiderFarmer QB. While I truly am pleased with the purchase I do believe that we should’ve upp’d to the 200w model (or 2, 100w models) to achieve a similar output and result - @silverback_guerilla was right on point with the lighting advice (*again). Given the reduced yield it just feels like the nodal spacing and overall bud quality may have suffered with the reduced power. This, despite the better light spectrum and overall coverage in general. As an aside - an additional Fixture is now on the way😉👍. Worst part about this is we’ll never really know what the true limiting factor actually was due to the nute burning. Probably the single most stupid, rook mistake I could’ve made was not watering to runoff.... just too much shit going down in the world (and in life) these days and I started to treat the grow like it was on auto pilot🤬🤬🤬. The whole worlds a cluster f$&k right now so why should the grow be any different right? 4/5 for the method, losing1 point because the grower is a lazy moron. Yield/Harvest🌴 The final numbers are better than expected, 2.26oz of usable bud. Not overly fluffy and not overly dense. Not glazed in frost but not without a little shimmer. All around mediocre unfortunately. What it coulda? Shoulda? Woulda been??? Note sure 🤔 but we’ll take it👍. On a more positive note - There was still another new addition to our grow cycle. This time on the back end. Everyone knows that trimming just plain sucks. When we’re spitt’n out 3-4 plants every few months, the exercise is a dreaded necessity if were gonna maintain the vast array of choice that we’re used to🤙👌. The whole process just for one plant can take hours unless you have help. We prefer to wet trim too so for those that don’t require a commercial size trimmer, the only option to save some time is a trim bowl. We bit the bullet, dropped the cash on one - have NOT been disappointed at all! Not only did it cut the chop process from 2-3 hours down to a mere 45 minutes, the buds literally came out rack ready. There was no need to do any touch up trimming and the bud photos you see are as-is, right out the bowl🤩. Really coulda used this last fall and I would recommend this to anyone who chops more than a handful of plants per year. Just awesome and worth every penny!👌🤙👍 At times like these, we should all just be thankful that we still have both the opportunity and ability to grow our own✌️. Hey Growers. With the Gaia Green all I have to do is water for the first 3-4 weeks, then top dress. So I’m already on auto pilot. Love it!! When I introduced the fan one did slump over. I propped her up out of the mud on a bambo X and she found her way back free standing. Just watering with cal pow water and watching for light stress. This XS2000 is a powerful unit and I’m sure would rock a 3x3 perfectly. Happy Growing 🌱

02/02 - Day 30 Like clock work, wk 5 is here and flowers are growing everywhere. Growth is still going strong with (A) leading the pack along with (B) & (D) not far behind. Noticed a little tip burn but doesn’t seem to be spreading. 02/05 - Day 33 The girls are still showing explosive growth and putting out more pistils. A little concerned about (B) bright green leaves and (D) having some spots on an upper leaf. Maybe some light stress? Raised the light as high as possible, definitely going to LST for an even canopy next time.
