Week 11: Pineapple Poison - The Neverending Leafpocalypse! ☔️✂️
Yo growmies!
Mother Nature decided to play catch-up with the rain this week, and let me tell you, the Pineapple Poison took full advantage! Over 20mm of rain in seven days, and this girl exploded like a popcorn kernel in a microwave! We're officially at 138cm now, which is basically towering over my raised bed.
It wasn't just height, though. New shoots and leaves popped up like green confetti. So, guess who spent most of the weekend playing hairdresser again? This gal! It was a mainlining marathon. As Bobolancetti put it wisely in the comments: we need to start thinking support for those colossal colas.
Less foliage also means better wind resistance, which is crucial here in Brandenburg, land of the giant wind turbines. We can't have our Pineapple Princess getting blown over by a rogue gust!
The only thing missing? Flowering.

Listen, this growth spurt is awesome, but the weekly deleafing routine is getting a little…well, lengthy. My arms are feeling it! Maybe next week, the flowering fairy will finally take pity on us and get this party started? A girl can dream…. S

Went a bit ocerboard with the nutes last feeding, touched on >900ppm and they looked like they need a light flush down to 600ppm and start over from there.

Yesterday I discovered that, in order to change my timer, I didn't put the clock back onto it. Now they had 3 hours more light on the third day of flowering. Exactly the kind of oopsies this grow really doesn't need.
But it happened and all back on a normal schedule, but I hope the OHS en GG4 aren't affected by it too much... One accidental re-vegging is more than enough for a year.
Also, these sensitive strains can hermie on me for lesser reasons so from now on I'll be checking for male signs daily.
The XTraKush is performing as advertised, with enormous stretch, these plants can go 10 ft up according to the breeder. So I'm tying them down and managing this to fill out the space.
With all the stuff going on, this 'underdog' strain might even prove most resilient, when all is said and done.
They seem to respond really well to the SP-3000 light and If you are in the market for a new light, consider this option from Mars Hydro.
Thank you @MarsHydroLED for letting me try it, it is a dream of a light. I compared it to my old light again and PAR values are not even in the same ballpark.

I got no calmag as im very low on cash right now. hope she will do great without it
ill put more pictures as the week progresses, the critical finishes at day 50 so theres only 3 weeks left
The coockies are now on day 21

The calmag problem is very visible on one of the critical (bottom left) no too bad, the girl scout cookies had a nice stretch and the leaves gained a lot of size everything Goes well the coockies drink a lot now. See you at week 5

Things are going well, apart from the high humidity in the air here, creating moss on the surface of the soil, very annoying.
01/02 only pre-flowers have appeared so far, its characteristic scent is already noticeable

My little one shines more and more from day to day. She drinks at least 4L a week, sometimes 8.
She is fertilized according to the xpertnutrients scheme and loves it.
All my plants love it.
Now she is in the 5th week, I guess she will definitely need until the end of January.
I have never seen such a phenotype, all the other grows with Grounded genetics that I have found did not look like this.
Someone also said that something was wrong with it, because the leaves are asymmetrical (unfortunately no joke😆).
It is beautiful and lives up to its name: FROSTYY😇😍

When looking at and checking, it is split at one point. At first I thought the branch was off, but since it really only split in the middle, I could just fix it. Unplanned high stress training

Today she moved with the other plants into the new Big Tent of Vevor. There are now two 100 watt lamps hanging there and supplying the ladies with light. We continue without SCROG

The plants got a big defoliation of a lot of the lower growth in lolipop style fashion, either flipping to flower next week or waiting two weeks. I’ve had to start using neem oil because it seems some little critters are eating my plant leaves. It’s very minimal and small just better to be safe than sorry, currently at day 40 of the Grow. Just moved the light up a few more inches compared to the plants canopy. Seems as if they’re getting a little light stress since I turned the light all the way up to the full 1,000 blast. Same feeding schedule. Let me know if y’all have any tips! Always appreciated

Bonjour à tous, ces derniers jours ce sont bien passé pour mes petit bébés elles grandissent doucement mais sûrement.C’est la première fois que je travail avec cette gamme de produits (je vous est mis des photos des produits 😉) pour l’instant j’en suis satisfait après, il faut voir le résultat final ce qui est moins facile 😂. Mes petit bébés commence leurs 5ème semaine (je me suis trompé d’une semaine 😕 désolé 😉) trop pressé!!! 😂 de mettre de nouvelles photos 😜.
