📆 Week 5, 19-25 May 2024
19-25 May - Observed and let the plant grow.
📑 The plant is very compact with big, wide leaves, typical with Afghan varieties. The spacing between nodes is a good 1”. What I do is tuck the big leaf under the developing branches rather than cut them off early in this stage, to help the plant produce maximum energy. I also snip very low sucker shoots that do not have a chance to keep up with the plant, which is only a few. This keeps all the growth focused on the top of the plant for now. This will probably be her last week of what I consider veg, as she is starting to show more bud development.

Day 39 - Did a little defoliating today, I’m hoping it won’t stunt too much. Last two grows, I just let it go but seemed pretty crowded so want more light deeper.
Day 40 - It appears the defoliation has really stunted her so will keep an eye on her. She’s starting to smell a bit fruity and I’m loving it.
Day 41 - No major changes today, still looks and smells amazing.
Day 42 - Looks and smells good still!

So the plants survived without light in my garage for 2 days, thank goodness!
FBP2 is the best plant by far. She had stacked lots of tight buds, orange pistils coming in nice. Nice bushy structure to her. Super happy with her progress.
Royal Critical is doing great, progressed further than all the others so far, lots of orange pistils, curling inwards towards the buds, still white pistils too, so not ready obviously. Not as dense a structure as FBP2, but much better than FBP1 and FBP3, which you can see are way behind both the others. They're looking super straggly. Not sure that they'll improve much at this stage unfortunately.
Still I'm pleased overall with this grow, as it's my first and I have learnt a lot about the necessity for LST, and genetics being different from plant to plant.
Hopefully we'll be able to harvest the Royal Critical here soon, then FBP2. As for the other 2 plants, I guess I'll have to wait and see.

Permanent marker has shown some really nice growth this week.
The leaves are a nice, healthy green colour and overall. I'm very pleased with how she's getting on.
Here is what I did this week.
20.8.25:
I watered with 1.5ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.0 with;
💜 2ml Trace
PH: 6.0
PPM: 340

It seems like I need more experience with these Earthbox jr's. I fully believe I have stunted these plants some how. I need more research, but plastic pots are certainly interesting. I need more stretch for my space...

All the girls looking good all have bud forming on their tops this strain has been really with no problems at all. All except one has staid short and bushy the one topped stretched up and fanned out real nice

#1 start showing male parts so it got pulled....also seem like a have a mag. Prob hopeful it clear out during the week..... TP #3 to 7gal pot during 2week flowering....also TP another one that i wasnt keeping track of in veg into a bigger pot that only start growing after I topped it

Drying and curing always the biggest challenge for me due too constant climate change in my area, living near the mountains have its flaws too..🧐 Oh well still love growing..✌️

Restoration after massive defoliation looks amazing, but plant still is not flowering, is it still too early? Look at that crqck on photo, but plant still looks strong :)

Slowly dropping the ph down to 5.8, I can tell I stunted the growth just a tiny bit. But I checked the bottom of the cups on day 10 and I saw some root heads poking out the holes on the bottom, so the roots are growing atleast👍

today is the last day I will be giving them water only, next watering will have cal mag and GH nutrients and silicate. Runoff was 5.9 ph, so im finally in the sweet spot

Hey everyone :-)
This week it smells more and more sweet and fruity in the whole room 😍.
There is actually not much to report, everyone is now under 12/12 :-).
This is the last grow that comes in the entire diary.
From now on, each plant will be added to the diary 👍.

my god the frost on the leaf and the swell is like the blueberry note aroma whit the dosidos and the background this baby i will keep it for the next batch clone done under the light other tent

To clarify I'm using the OG Oganics Nirvana as the regular isn't OMRI approved. Long story short the plant is loud, I moved it into a 2X2 for some special attention under a growcraft x3 mini and doing well

Continued vegetative growth, preparing for topping, increased watering a bit more frequently to almost daily (just as needed.)

Day 32: It's the 5th week already! The soil plant is starting to flower as well. The roots of the hydro plant are healthy again, although the plant is of course still very small.
I removed a few leaves that overshadowed some of the lower flowers/nodes.
Day 34: The results of the LST really start to show. A number of flowers begin to grow. The plant takes more and more horizontal space. I redid the LST today to move the buds even further away from each other
Day 37: A lot of growth / stretching went on this week. For the soil plant I redid the LST again today, and the whole pot is almost covered when it was only half of it a couple of days ago. The hydro plant has quite a bushy top now.

Dia 5 y las plantas ya muestran su primer par de hojas verdaderas que practicamente triplica en tamaño a los cotiledones y con un buen color verde. Pasaré a abonar conforme a la table de crecimiento y ph a 6 (algo menos realmente pero se estabilizará a 6 en las próximas horas). El ph mas y menos que uso es de boom nutrients que alguien me lo preguntó, tengo el de ghe pero como ya tengo las dosis pilladas con boom nutrients uso este, en teoría de ghe debería ser más estable pero tampoco es algo con lo que haya tenido problemas.
La ec se ha ido hasta 1,9 aplicando la dosis recomendada del fabricante, creo que el fulvic/diamond nectar sube mucho el valor. Quizás con agua destilada se puedan mantener esas dosis
Dia 10 - The plant keeps developing good. i have lowered the water dosage
