Growing it was quite a journey. Since I had a lot of changes in my life, I couldn't take the time I wanted to make a good diary, but I still managed to take some pictures. I had some problems since I changed the size of my pots and didn't use LST. One plant grew so tall that it went above the LED, and other plants were too close to the LED. Using three 20L pots in a 60cm x 60cm space was too much; they didn't have enough room. For the next grow, I'll use only two pots and employ SCROG and LST

Week 5 - Same nutes from previous week. 2 more weeks of vega i think. Look ate the shape of the plant and the wires to hold she down. I have toped my plants 2 times over the past 2 weeks, and now all of their have the "H" shape in the base

Ab geht es in die 2. Woche PPFD wert wird auf 225-250 hochgeschraubt Lux wird von 7k auf c.a 8.500 - 9.000 in 18H angepasst Lampenabstand bleibt vorerst gleich da die Blätter sich meiner Meinung nach hervorragend ausprägen. Temperatur wird Tagsüber zwischen 25 und 27 Grad maximal gehalten bei einer konstanten Luftfeuchtigkeit von 65%+ Heute am dritten Tag der Woche habe ich mich dazu entschlossen die Ladys in ihren finalen Topf zu Pflanzen, da mir dies öfters geraten wurde und ich leider diesen Fehler von Anfang an hätte vermeiden sollen. - Falls ich nochmal zu Automatik greife, werde ich diese direkt in den finalen Topf geben - Gute 48h nach dem Umtopfen ist ein deutlicher fortschritt am Blattwerk zu sehen, meiner Meinung nach haben sie das Umtopfen bisher gut überstanden

Estuvimos un poco desaparecido por andar un poco desmotivado pero aquí vamos nuevamente, las nenas van bastante bien en la semana 8 la cambiamos a maceta de 3.5L y aprovechamos de darle GREAT WHITE SHARK, la técnica que usamos es de amarrar el central ya que le hicimos supper cropping y apical a nuestro central, amarramos el apical que le hicimos super cropping y le dimos fuerza a varios brazos. Para ir controlando la altura de los brazos le hicimos poda a pical a los que estaban tomando más altura y así poder ir equiparando los brazos. La verdad que no se cuantos brazos tengo que sacar y aun me quedan unas 4 semanas para poder desocupar mi armario de floración y poder pasarlas a flora, así que intentaremos hacer una muy buena estructura antes de pasarlas a floración. La defoliación la aplico cada vez que saco foto ósea semanal y trato de ir manteniendo de a 4 nudos o 6 nudos La alimentación se mantiene igual lo que si no se si lo dije pero: Rhizotonic: Lo estoy usando solo en trasplantes y cuando hago alguna poda. Cannazym: Lo estoy usando 1 vez por semana. Orca y Myco Chum: Lo estoy usando 1 vez cada 1-2 semanas Alimentación diaria: Calmag, silicia, supervit y canna coco a+b Alimento a cada una con 250-350 cc de solución, 2 horas que encienden las luces y 2 horas antes de que se apaguen. Gracias a esta receta no eh tenido tanta variedad en mi runoff y las nenas se mantienen muy sanas. Saludos

So, I started another Northern Lights auto grow, because it is very beneficial for my wife with Autism, where some strains make her a little anxious, Northern lights has a relaxing and calming effect on her. She has been put in soil on the end of day 3. The soil mix used is 5L of Plagron Promix (non-fertil.), 5L of Coco and 1L of perlite in a 11L Gronest pot. I kept 1L of the soil aside, and mixed the rest up with 7 tblsp of organic living soil fertilizer by Ecostyle. I made a potsized hole in the soil, and added the 1L unfertilised soil into the hole to accommodate the seedling through here first weeks of life. Day 4 & 5: No sign of her wanting to pop out just yet.

This was a fun project that was a few years in the making and a year later to see if they would last a season for this upload to happen. Before any of this I would bike aorund town grabbing up all the old Ikea solid pine bed slats that I could find and storing them in the basement. I have a lot of wood down there, any size worked as long as I have enough of them. The hot days to find them were the first and last of the months because that's when people where moving in/out. I also kept an eye on the free section on local online classifieds as well. The entire purpose of this was to recycle as much off the streets as I could before buying anything to finalize the project. In the end I only bought sealer, screws and some takeaway/beers. All the wood was 100% free and salvaged off the streets of Toronto saving it from the dumpster bin. After collecting all the slats for about 2 years I was playing aorund with them on how I wanted to make this work. I had previously done a little project like this before but I messed it up and the boxes where crap. did not last longer then 2 seasons, they where thin and shallow as well could not grow much of anything in them. I Was talking to my friend who is renovating their house and we brainstormed some ideas on the boxes, I found some designs I liked online and said lets make something like this out of what I have here. We tossed out a few of the design features when looking at them as it would have been wasted wood and extra work not needed. If I had more wood them maybe it could have been an option but simple was the name of the game. They taught me what I needed to know like how the miter saw and sander worked, plus all the other tools I was using. They did help out with a table saw and creating the triangle support joints in the corners, They used some pine left overs they had while making a staircase indoors. I did not feel up to the task of using a table saw given all the relatives I know who have lost a finger to them. In the end we decided the design would be three boards high and take an alternating pattern on corners. layer one short, layer 2 long, layer 3 short. Went with a galvanized and painted deck screw so it can take the weathering. Ran into some problems like making everything level as some of the boards were warped and other ones had undesired aspects like knots and tacky sticker goo I could not remove. So I used them for the base that will not been seen so much. Clamped everything down and called it a day. Once it was all done and over with, I then brought them back home from my buddies work garage and started to seal them. I went with a boiled linseed oil as its a food safe option should the wood degrade into the soil I will plant in them. I will need to reapply it to the boxes year after year but the main coat is the most important one and I put it on 3 layers with a good dry in between coats. the inside of the boxes that where coated did not degrade at all as the sun did not hit them so it will not need a new coat just the outside. Overall the end result was very impressive for myself, I've never taken a woodworking class ever and It was a near perfect outcome for me. Heavy Duty Planter Boxes for all my gardening needs. I made a last min decision to add in a plastic liner to preserve the wood even longer and stapled that into the frame. it has held up quite well and may need replacing end of 2nd or 3rd year out in the sun. Week 3 is done and this girl had an interesting week. I noticed her yellowing tips on day 17 but only on the older growth? I'm stumped, surely it isn't the light intensity, still only at 450ish umols. The pot is always weighty, could it be an over water? Her sisters don't seem phased at all. As for environment, today I've turned the ventilation fan on 24hrs with no breaks. I started getting paranoid that hour on hour off is not doing them any favors and I'm just gonna have to suck it up and bare the brunt of the power bill. This will also drastically reduce the RH, which I'm not totally sure of the effects it will have on the girls. Low RH has got to be better than RH too high, right? 🤷‍♂️
