D19 - After planting her in soil, she just started to grow very fine. Beast: Cats are instinctively attracted to this plant. Mine is always asking for it by standing in front of the door. I usually feed him during regular defoliation. :)

she slowly begins to sweat and also develops her characteristic color. i have not used any cropping or topping techniques, or defoliation, except that she will develop 2 head buds. i still don't have any uV or iR light supplement, just using a sanlight led and senmatic fl300 grow with adjustable colorspectrum and adjustable poweroutput. wondering. still in the same environment. all the pests have suddenly disappeared. i did not say any prayers.lol my mouth is already watering.lol

The plant is looking great!! I've done super cropping (hst) with some clips and it's working perfectly!! I think she's starting to go into preflower but at the moment there are no signs of pistiles or strong odour.

Day 70 - She grew 5cm / 2" this week! The amount of trichomes she has on her is frankly ridiculous 😍 totally white over. The smell upon touching them is intense Grapefruit 😍 PhenoFinders have done a great job breeding this. I'd like to try more of their range.

Week 15 started 7-03-2022 July 4th Update Cleaned our rez and made water at 6.3 Ph, cal-magged. Heavier defol. to reveal more bud sites and give more light. Upgraded flowering light higher output and more coverage. Temps are fine. She started yellowing and getting pretty defensive with the amount of light, so I backed it off to 18", way more light from this 400w COB. The UV is hurting her too so she is throwing more color into the flowers. I am flushing a bit right now and letting her just get used to the light. Added Gaia Green on top and top fed after a 12 hour pause and then flushed out the rez, so now just good water on roots, letting the media get used up, but I don't want deficiencies at the end of the grow, hence the gentle ferts. I don't want a chemical taste so flush with the natural stuff. I will top feed once more once she gets happier looking. So cal mag, like 3 ml of Hygrozyme for root health, and PHd - keeping it simple. (Don't over do the Hygrozyme) 07-06-2022 The upgrades continue. Moved the new light and new carbon filter, along with the A/C Infinity fan to a new Gorilla Growtent Lite 4x4, which is perfect for me for a good while. It barely fit in the space, modified the fan a little and its working like a champ with near identical environmentals. Moved the White Widow manifold into the 4x4 and adjusted the lights and she seems happy so far. I can tell the new light is adding growth and bulk just in a few days. Hopefully the new tent will encourage more ventilation and growth as well. Way less light leakage, almost none. So far I am happy.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. 1. LABS - I suggest using distilled water for the entire process ( no chlorine or chloramine). I also suggest the type of rice product shown ( 1/2 cup), it has red, brown, white, and black rice blended together. You get the benefits of each type. 2. Take the rice that was used in making the rice rinse for labs and boil it in 3 cups of water for 30 mins. Strain the rice out. Add 1 TBSP molasses per 300 mls. Use 300 mls of the above mixture during your watering cycles. It contains starches, b vitamins, aminos, trace minerals, calcium, magnesium, iron, phosphorus, potassium, and some nitrogen. The ppm’s are not higher than 200 ( if using distilled water). This is ONLY used if your plants are healthy. If your plants are sick…this will NOT help them. It will make stuff worse!!! The Hulk-Berry got a new home. 1 tsp 7-3-1, 1/2 tsp 0-12-0, 1/2 tsp Langbeinite, 1 TBSP 2-2-2, 3 TBSP 4-3-3, worm castings, recharge (1/32 tsp) into the soil ( Mother Earth). The 3 RuntZ are coming back from slow growth at the outset. I added LABS, Lentil SST, Photosynthesis Plus to the media. I did a foliar spray with recharge. 24-36 hours later the leaves exploded with growth and height. I added ZERO nutrients!!! I only used natural inputs and bacteria to get the root zone back in order. 11-3. Things are all in check! The LABS, SST’s and Rice wash have gotten the 3 RuntZ back on track. The Hulkberry is in full swing. I think I can get to 3 feet by flower time with the Hulkberry 11-5 All is well today!!! Everyone is very happy after the cal-mag, Photosynthesis Plus, kelp bath

I just noticed my PH has been around 7, and a couple of the seed mothers are showing CAL/MAG deficiencies.. I use well water, and I don't have to adjust it in the summer, but around late fall the PH raises. I forgot to get good pics of the seed mothers, since I was focused on the STS formulas at the time, but these are the Pollen donors transforming into male flowers. 5 weeks old. The seed mothers are coming along nice with dime sized buds on them. I Topped them all at the 5th node, just before the cola, so the canopy would all be even under the lights. I just sprayed these reversed buds 1 time only on day 17, after the first STS treatments, with 50ppm of Gibberellic Acid (GA3) to stretch them out away from each other. Gibberellic Acid causes plants to stretch enormously, and PPM's of 50 to 100 can cause females to reverse to males.

on day 21 of flower the 2 lady have got a new Haircut. Also some composttea on day 22 of flower. Light hits the plants with around 850 PPFD. Both plants look very similar (same leaf shape and structure), but one is about 15% larger than her sister. They both look healthy and vigorous.

She was an easy grow and gave me a decent yield. 2 oz plus 22 grams of larfy lowers from the bottom inner of the mainline. She smells and tastes amazing. Very potent auto that has me ripped on first smoke. Made for great rosin as well
