🗓️ WEEK 8 (flo) - HARVEST WEEK (56° FLO) 💧 Midway through this final week of flowering, I performed a complete DWC reservoir change. I replaced the nutrient solution with plain tap water, EC 0.4 - pH 5.8. This flushing solution was maintained for 4 days, right up until the moment of harvest. 🌱 On the 56° day of flowering (day 84 from the dry seed), the plant appeared perfectly ready for harvest. The buds are dense and glistening with resin, nearly all pistils have browned and retracted, and the trichomes show a beautiful mix of milky and enough amber. Immediately after chopping her down, I removed all the large fan leaves and I've decided to dry these too as they are remarkably full of resin. ✅ DRYING PHASE The entire plant was hung to dry inside the grow box, which was kept completely dark with constant, gentle air circulation for 8 days. The average VPD during this period was maintained around 1.2 (approximately 20°C and 50% RH). Once this drying period was complete, I trimmed off all the sugar leaves. These resinous sugar leaves will be combined with the already dried fan leaves and larf buds, and I plan to use them to make cannabutter for edibles. ⚖️ DRY WEIGHT After the 8-day drying period, and once all the remaining small leaves and branches were removed from the buds, I weighed the final product: The harvest yielded: - 150 grams of dense buds. - 5 grams of finger hash collected during handling. For edibles: - 30 grams of larf. - A large amount of fan and sugar leaves. ⚠️ In the next coming days I'll update the harvest week with info about curing stage and a smoke review.

DAY 14 F: Hi all. I hope we are all coping and navigating this tumultuous time in the "other world" . It has been a really good week for the ladies this week and even the little chica has improved slightly from her attempted poisoning by hands yet unknown ????. Lol They have all been really productive in their stretch periods and i had to move the fc3000 up a fair bit to stop them reaching the panel. I want to avoid any supercropping to use the plants natural structures on this final auto run. The tip spreading has been effective at stopping them over growing the height restriction and has now used the stretch period to space all the budsites into good positions for light and air movement. I want to also avoid having to remove any of the powerhouse fan leaves that are going to help convert and store all those sugars and goodies for the bud development soon. Inwill tet to keep them from light blocking lower leaves and growth by tucking them away where I can. They are around 2ft in height with the Strawberry Pie being the taller of the 3 strains. All have fairly long node gaps whichb had hoped to avoid so they would stack the buds rather than grow in small clusters but I know from previously growing them all that they make some very nice harvested and cured nugs. I am still only feeding water but will be doing another tea of biosys and a top dressing of life-cycle too this week to give the biosphere a hand and the girls a boost from that. The light is really doing them justice with plenty of deep penetration to the soil bed in places too. There are no signs of hot spots or too much intensity so far so an even spread of those light ranges has fed them perfectly. With the convenience of the soil beds , In the tent I have from Mars being the perfect size for this light , it could be a match made in heaven for the upcoming photoperiod run with the FC3000 too. Just need to find a way to hang the tent with my horrible apex roof first..... lol With Bud Porn on order for next weeks update , I bid you all farewell or as we say in the UK, "tatty bye for now" growmies. This week has been all about shaping the plant. I’ve learned from last that the colas weren’t the same height, because I let the plant do it’s things with just a bit of training. Now I know what to look for so I’m trying my hardest. I top dressed this week with crab meal, Gaia green all purpose 4-4-4, insect frass, kelp meal, bone meal, azomite, and covered it with a healthy serving of worm castings (about an inch to 2 inches). All of which was sprinkled on all the chopped and dropped leaves/branches. I believe in adding biomass to soil, especially for an indoor growing who is money conscious. Doing that can help save me money going back to the store for more soil.

We are now in middle of week 11 and 1 plant will be ready for harvest in around 7-10 days.

I was pleasantly surprised by the yield from these 2. Plant #1 (back left this grow) yielded a whopping 4.79 ounces, my 2nd biggest producer this grow! #2 yielded 3.57 ounces, which while the lowest of the 4, is still an extremely respectable yield for a single plant in a 4 plant tent! Especially one that received as little attention as this one did. #2 remained resilient the entire grow, however due to the placement of my tent received the least amount of attention/defoliation, which is consistent with its yield. #1 was more easily accessible, and while it did have cal mag & ph issues early on, still received significant defoliation and care, hence the larger yield. Overall very happy with this strain, I have 3 of these seeds on hand, so there’s a good chance you’ll see another Critical Orange Punch diary from me in the future! Unfortunately my digital timer was defective and made the flowering phase delay by 2 weeks. From one side, this delay allowed them to stretch a bit more. On the other side, it made me start giving bloom nuts with bad timing, thinking the bloom phase was already started. In other words, I gave bloom nuts in the last 2 weeks of veg. This means I’ll have to give them “week 3” bloom nuts for two more weeks, maybe reducing by 50% the B-52 and Big Bud dosages (they could be a little too much). Let’s now talk about the lady: well, she’s growing like a monster: 73cm!!!! She is the biggest of the grow room. She’s been growing 7-8 cm every day in the last days. That’s impressive! Woohoo, I love sativassssss! They will make you feel like a king, and they will be your queens 👸 By the way, sativas are WILD, and they make you sweat before showing their pistils. That’s what’s happening now. As well as the two Euphoria, they’ve not shown anything but a small pre-flower (not even a pistil for the moment). We’ll see in the next days. Day 15: Plants looking healthy as can be! I didn't make a rack for the lights but I got em in. Looks jankie, but I think its gonna work. 🙏 Day 16: Trying to work out kinks in my grow. Since I put the other 2 lights in, I'm now battling the heat and humidity. Switch the fans around. Got the cold air coming in down low. Will feed them in the morning. Day 17: The girls were showing signs of being thirsty this morning for sure! They received their first drain to waste watering. They will be getting some additional nutes on the next feeding (AN B-52, AN Sensizyme, AN CalMag Extra). Day 18: Looking amazing today! I tried my hand at a little LST. Wish the girls luck.!! 🙏 Tomorrow is the official 2 week mark from breaking ground. So, not sure. I've got the humidity finally dialed in at around 50-55% and the temp around 78°. Also gave them another drink as they were already dry about 1.5" down?? Day 19: This is the official 2 week mark. I think I stressed the girls pretty good yesterday, but they look to be recovered today. Should start seeing good growth in the day to follow. Will just be tucking a leaf here and there for a bit. I will being doing a straight water feed next with Great White. Day 20: Nothing new to report other than found 2 leaves that had some yellow mottling. I added Sensizyme, Recharge, and Great White to this feeding. Did not do drain to waste. Just watered the outside perimeter. PPM was 260 at 5.8 ph. Day 21: NO MORE NUTES for these girls! Tips on a couple of em are turning yellow!!! Stupid me. Over watering and giving too many nutes.

Big plant going to develop big buds. It smells something like sweet floral.

I’m at the home stretch now. Two weeks till harvest. This grow has flown by! The buds are really swelling. They don’t yet look as big as some of the clusters on the last harvest. But those were all untrained and had way fewer bud sites. The difference this time is there are way more buds. PH is now good too. Soil is 6.5-7.0 in most tests. I’ve just given the final feed. From now on I’m just flushing them with PH adjusted water. The Biobizz nutes are PH neutral. I suspect micro organisms in the soil are raising the PH with their waste. I’ll always add PH- to the feed from now on. There are rusty spots appearing on some of the leaves of the most stretched plant. Possibly low in magnesium. I’ve feed with calmag. The affected leaves were all close to one of the lights though. Maybe that has something to do with it? Temps and humidity are bang on. The rig in the tent is keeping the temps in the high 20s. Outside the tent it is sometimes dropping into the high teens. The humidity in the tent is around 50%. About 10-15% down on the outside room. I’m really pleased with the impact of training Seems to have had on the plants. The LST, topping and super cropping has definitely had an impact. Even with autos. Ok. So one plant stalled. It was the weakest plant, was late and was not planted in the centre of the pot. I should have LSTed only. But I topped it. Pushed it too far. I’ve learnt a massive amount on this grow.

After 14 days vacation my tent Went crazy. The Stretch is absolute shocking and so many new leaves in this short time. I really have to defo. And HST some Main-Colas or they will get burned

Not sure, but I may have stress her moving her from tent to BR, my other two critical's are also showing signs of flowering. So, it's back into the tent since it's 12/12. So she's drinking more, it shows as she's grown quite a bit in tha last week. So much she's almost caught up to my blueberry that is 21 days ahead. I was using FF trio nutes, but the kit I have was more for my Blueberry. From here on out it'll be jacks and Beastie Bloomz. Doing it mostly as a trial, if it works out it'll save me a little bit as well. Holy cow, she's going for the stretch, going to catch up to my blueberry in the corner. EC: 2.3 PH: 5-5-6.2

Another solid week at the sauce garden I’m stoked on these girls they all smell amazing, my favorite being the watermelon skittles it smells like grape pie and the lemon autos have a citrus smell to them. The 12/12 watermelon skittles is doing better than I thought she would she’s already full flower mode on her 5 week. Sorry I missed last week I was too busy then.
