After having my first plant that I gave hose water and sunlight be cut in half by a caterpillar, and my first indoor plant to get botrytis. This has been my first fully successful harvest and I couldn't be happier. Been listing to all of the GFYH podcast with Rasta Jeff and learned most of the steps through listening on repeat at work. This plant is very fun to grow, it will naturally fill it's canopy without much LST and occasionally topping. I have no complaints about the nutrients, mostly using FoxFarm items, the trio is nice and I can see the difference when I pushed to far either way with them, the plants would respond pretty quickly and I could fix and possibly compensate for the mistake and they would bounce back like nothing. Not having experience with other brands I'll say that I am happy enough to keep it as a constant variable for my personal refinement in becoming a better grower. I plan to continue growing this strain for a while so that I can have a way to see my improvement, and I will likely make another journal after at least a couple harvests.

Growing this popsicle cake definitely had its ups and downs. What started out looking like a dud of a seed turned out to be something pretty spectacular. Stacks the buds nicely to fill up the whole colas, super frosty, with an un godly stench of sweaty dirty socks. Still in the curing process but definitely has a heavy indica punch!

I'm really digging the Chem OG, squat plants with those trademark thick thick thick indica leaves, clearly it's gonna be a heavy smoke lol Wasnt able to get the juices flowing this week, hopefully next week i'll get the smart protein into feed. Started training some of these, did two more defoliations (total of three light defos so far) ... and then flipped them 4 days ago. the f-ing landlord has been attempting to enter the lab according to my security cameras lol, motherfucker !!!! anyway i have to pack up the lab, hopefully i'll be able to complete the grow cycle , but for sure i'll have to move the grow op ... that's my problem, sure but it also means that i'll have to wait in order to set up my perpetual cycle... and of course i cant really take cuttings if i'm moving the lab... why must people be so curious? really wish there would be at least a bit more tolerance around this hobby just so i can sleep peacefully at night... in the mean time , I lowered my lights to 22cm, i heard from someone (forgot who) that it's a good thing to get the lights closer when you flip so that the plant gets that extra energy for the stretch. Raised up the nutrient level . Dealing with colder temps at the moment.Added a 75w cfl to keep temps up. Noticed the lower leaves are starting to lighten up. I fed them and will watch to see if they bounce back. I will up pot during this week for sure.The young ones looked very sad the last couple of days so I up potted. Once the transplant shock is over for them I will lower my ph from 6 to 5.5. and see if that helps with the yellowing of the leaf edges. I have been watering once a day with the nutes at 5.5 ph after transplant. I ordered a humidifier so I can keep that under better control as it stays way to low for my liking at the moment. The plants look happier 2 days after transplant. I do see signs of some deficiency on older growth.

05/22/24. Going into week 3 flower Everything seems to be going pretty good so far. Finally got a bit of stretch and definitely have some bud formation. As things are still so freaking dark with these ladies leaves I am still not giving a feeding. Have given them water with silica and calmag when things seem dry. Plant 1 seems much more leafy and with many more bud sites than plant 2. Most of plant 2’s growth has not made it up to the trellis sadly. I will be doing some cleaning up of the stuff underneath the trellis and some selective defoliation today or tomorrow. Lights now about 75% at about 20 inches up. Temperature has been 73-82 with around 50% humidity. I think I covered everything for now. Thanks for lookin
