This week went well, she stopped stretching on Day 47 and I transitioned to flowering nutes. I finally decided to set up another reservoir, so I will now have one for veg and flower nutrients, with a valve that I can easily switch between either reservoir for either plant. Not much left to do for this one, just sit back and hope that the buds get nice and fat. She is still loving this new Mars Hydro EC 3000, and excited to see what happens over the next few weeks. Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. This strain is the best looking in the tent, color is perfectly uniform top to bottom. We stripped all plants heavy on the first day of flower because they were so large. We were hoping that this would control stretching some but these tower over the rest. Their node spacing looks prime for fat, intact main buds which always makes me happy. A nice week without problems i have added a few basil seeds, but posible way too much i migth have to remove them, have you grow other plants on your pots? any advice?

Son 6 white truffles, 6 Apple&Bazzokies de GBSTRAINS y 5 GG4 de GBSEEDS que se empezaron a germinar el 15 de mayo por la tarde sobre las 19:00 Todas nutridas con BOOM nutrients jejeje Todas las semanas iremos viendo los cambios y la evolución, los riegos y las flores que vendrán :) El 16 de mayo del 23 sobre las 07:00 de la mañana pase las semillas del vaso con agua, a los tapers con servilleta. Ahí estuvieron 24 horas mas haciendo un total de 36 horas germinando para después, pasarlas a las macetas de 1 litro. 22/05/23 actualizado, meto unas fotos mas de como van las semillas después de 7 días desde que se empezaron a germinar en el vaso de agua. A día 22/05/23 llevamos 7 días desde que se empezaron a germinar. ACTUALIZACION DE ESTADO: 30/05/23 Subo unas fotos después de 8 días. Llevamos 15 días desde que se empezó a germinar las semillas en vaso de agua. A partir de aquí, empiezo a contar semanas de crecimiento. Trasplantaremos a maceta definitivas de 7L dentro de una semana o 2.

They are getting big and starting to smell pretty much

6/20/21 - They look great! On track and the stretch has stopped completely. See pics and video from today… 6/21/21 - Day 30 of flower! Half way there :) They’ve been drinking water without any runoff coming out of the pots. Also the stretch has stopped and they look good. 6/22/21 - On track. Good size buds and a good smell. Excited for harvest! The room is filling up with flowers. 6/23/21 - I am still feeding with the nutrients listed above which is Week 9 on the schedule. 6/24/21 - We are very happy with the growth and bud size. They look and smell great! 6/25/21 - They are doing well. Just flowering away. I’ll post pics soon. Other than feeding them I am just letting the plants flower. No techniques being used. 6/26/21 - I missed a week on the feeding schedule and gave it straight water. I’m going to run Week 9 again and go from there.

Week 3 for the purple banana punch from our favorite autoflower company, of course fastbuds 420! All looks quite good at the moment. This week we gave bloom, root, silica, calmag amino, sugar shot, sticky fingers and bloom booster all from xpert nutrients!

This strain is just incredible, perfect indica high with a sativa sidenote It grows strong and is quite resistent to mold. All plants were done after about 60 days of flowering. First time i used a tumble trimmer and it works perfectly. I didn't check PH or EC at all

Chopped Chocolate Mint OG on day 61. It's been a pleasure to grow and looked like it was going to be my biggest yield. This was definitely the bushiest plant in the tent. She was very photogenic toward the end. The stem rubs smelled like burning tires and dill pickles, but when the buds came in they were surprisingly sweet. The smell tickles some weird nostalgia, like a candy you had growing up but can't quite remember. It's like a sweet grape tea, but with real grape instead of candy grape. It is maybe reminiscent of grandma perfume - ambiguously sweet, fruity, and floral. After the dry and trim, this came in at just over 40g. I definitely smoked a bunch before weighing, plus this plant had 2 sample cuts taken before harvest, so maybe actual weight would have been 7-14g higher than the actual result. Overall this plant was phenomenal and I would gladly run it again in the future.

Thursday this week has been good so far, I pulled each plant out yesterday and tidied everything up. I got rid of all the tiny lateral branches that didn’t make the cut and I got Rid of everything that was below about half way down the plant. Obviously the lateral branches that grew to the same height as the canopy are staying it’s just all the non starter stuff below. I annoyingly had my in take fan die on me. We’ll sort of, it just keeps tripping the fuse on my electric so I assume it’s from when I had my res flood onto the floor - I forgot it was there on the floor because it was hidden behind the res

Trichomes are starting to amber and I habe already begun Flushing at this point I'm am just waiting for them to tell me they are down before I turn the lights off for 48 hours before harvest
