Day40 and two days from flipping to flower, she has grown to the size of her pot and I don’t want her getting root bound. So this week I have been working on her to prepare her for the flip. At the start of the week I got rid of any undergrowth. Any branch that never made it to the canopy is now in a coco cube. Any leaf I didn’t want is now part of the mulch layer. And I have been threading through the screen net to get a nice even top. Above this top I’ve turn on the second light, still at 50% but raise to 45cm above top of canopy. And light hours was drop to 16 hrs on Fungus gnats are lowering as I’ve scraped back the top of the soil layer and top dressed. I’ve also added a fan under the canopy. Totaling three fans All that left to do for now is top dress with bloom nutes, flip the lights again and turn up my extractor. See you on the other side list get it 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

Week 9 flower : Sunset sherbet : about 8 1/2 weeks I finally harvested, once I actually cut it out the net I realised there was so much yellow unfinished bud as it was way to compact in the tent . So I chopped all the heads off and put it back in the tent gonna leave it a week or 2 more just to see if I can get it to mature a bit . This plant was a clone and from day 1 it was not healthy but was told it was a super strain . I managed to get it growing but was always slow and very thin stalks . But I can tell it’s going to be a special smoke , the buds are rock solid and frosty . I have had to make a little cardboard dry box as the tent is still in use . They will be dried for about a week then put in jars to cure . I will report back with a final weight and smoke . Blue cheese : I have 3 blue cheese plants 2 in 12litre pots and 1 in a 3l pot . There is 2 phenos one is very blue and smelling more blueberry and other 2 more green Cheese looking . The blue pheno was in a 12l pot I took it out the tent and left in dark for 48hrs this was done about 9 weeks of flower . Once I actually took this out the net I couldn’t believe how big the buds were , it smells so nice and buds look very blue and frosty . This will also be hanged in a box and dried for 7-10 days and then cured . Will report back with final weight and smoke report The greener more cheese looking pheno is in a 12l pot is by far the biggest the buds are massive , this is still not ready and looks like it needs another week or 2 . I will keep flushing it till then and do same process as above apart from I will dry this in the tent The smallest plant that’s in a 3l pot is still not ready maybe another 3-7 days but will probably just leave it till the other one above is ready . I shouldn’t have really put this one in the tent I should have left the extra space for the others but still looks nice and some big buds . Overall I am amazed with the mars hydro lights I have 2x 1000ts and they have done better then when I used hps but that was some years ago . No one can tell me mars are not good light , I have literally taken day by day photos and u can see the results .

Soooo the plants stopped their stretch and started to pack on some weight, did a defoliation at the bottom a few days ago on Pheno#2 And Pheno#1 was defoliated about 2 weeks ago.

2/26: Harvested both Black Jacks and both Gorilla Girls tonight. They got a rough live trim, then chopped, washed, and hung to drip dry. Big, heavy, frosty buds on all 4 of them!👍 3/2: Still drying in the closet...amazing aromas!

The temperature and humidity listed above are averages for the week. The above listed nutrients are dry and, with exception of ferrous sulfate, pre mixed at the listed rates of ml per gallon of soil. On day 3 I top dressed with ferrous sulfate monohydrate at the rate of 2.5ml/gallon of soil as listen in nutrients section. On day 3 the #3 plant seemed off. It never straightened up. 'd really like to save it even if it falls behind the others. I dug it up after pictures and placed it in a perlite filled clone chamber. Day 1 and 2 we had heavy dew. Afternoon on day two we had cooler temps and intermittent rain that continued into early morning Day 3. Day 3 was overcast with thunderstorms and rain that evening and night. The morning of day 4 we had a rain shower, but the sun came out mid day. 2-3am early morning day 5 we had very heavy thunderstorm. There was a lot of wind and rain. On day 6 the rain forecast was reduced to 5%. Despite this we had a thunderstorm with heavy rain and wind around 9.30 a.m. and a second round that evening. The soil in these pots has been soaking wet all week. Fortunately day 7 we had lots of sunshine and a light breeze that dried the soil out. This week presented a lot of challenges. I lost one plant to either my not mixing the nutrient thoroughly or the excessive moisture. If the dry fertilizers premixed into the soil are concentrated in an area of soil they can bring the roots. The excessive moisture can do the same. All that said the lost plant is still alive and we will see if it survived the intensive care unit. The two plants remaining are looking fantastic and have weathered these storms with vigor. Overall this week was a success.

Grow Journal – Week 4: Solid, Smooth, Silky Week 4 is here and it’s been a solid, smooth, and silky ride! The OG Kush (OGK) and Gorilla Zkittlez (Rilla Z) are officially a month old, while the younger trio—AK, Super Lemon Haze (SLH), and Moon Beam (MB)—are at the 2-week mark. And let me tell you, things are popping off! OG Kush (OGK) OGK is bouncing back beautifully from the topping I did last week. She went from one main stem to two strong, sturdy branches, and I’ve been LST'ing them to shape the structure. Originally, I topped her thinking she was stunted—I almost gave up on her. But man, I’m glad I stuck it out. She's looking really solid now. I gave her a top dress of Gaia Green All Purpose and Power Bloom (since she’s been in soil about 30 days), and backfilled the pot since it was a little light on soil. Also did a light trim to remove some oversized fan leaves. Overall? She’s thriving. Gorilla Zkittlez (Rilla Z) Rilla Z is going crazy right now—straight beast mode. I did some LST and a bit of defoliation; her fan leaves were huge! She’s already throwing out white hairs, so flowering is definitely around the corner. Like OGK, I top dressed and backfilled her too. She’s officially in late veg/early flower, and everything’s looking fire. Super Lemon Haze (SLH), Moon Beam (MB), and AK The babies have exploded in growth this week. I transplanted all three from their 16 oz cups into 1-gallon pots. Used some Great White mycorrhizal fungi during transplant and wow—they LOVED it. The roots were wrapping all around the cup walls. Honestly, they’re almost as big as my older plants already. It's wild. All that stuff I learned from OGK and Rilla Z? I'm applying it now and it's clearly paying off. Temps and VPD are dialed in, and they’re thriving. SLH SLH shot straight up. It’s like a pure rocket. I’m debating whether to leave her be or bend her slightly for some LST. Either way, she’s got serious potential. MB For a seed that was cracked when I got it, MB is blowing past expectations. It’s outgrowing both AK and OGK at that stage. Like SLH, I’m thinking of just letting it grow upright with maybe some minor bends to shape the canopy. I'm really embracing the “less is more” vibe on this one. She’s been super easy so far. AK This one is giving me serious OGK vibes. She’s a little behind the others, but so was OGK—look how that turned out! I’m planning to top her in about a week. Something about topping small plants just feels right to me. Let’s see if she responds like her older sister. Reflections: Month One in the Books One full month of growing and wow—I’ve learned so much. And just to be clear—I still have no idea what I’m doing! 😅 I’m figuring it out day by day, learning from mistakes, soaking in content from YouTube and my favorite creators, and just putting in the work. Everyone says “plants just need soil, water, and light,” but if you dial in your environment and care, the rewards are next level—or so I’ve heard. These are all autoflowers, so it’s a race against time. I’m really just trying to keep up with what they need and ride it out to the finish line. I’m hyped to see how things develop over the next couple weeks. Appreciate y’all following the journey—I’ll be back with another update soon!
