Every day is a learning experience and she is like that saucy best friend - keeping me on my toes. She got 2 gallons of recharge, increased liquid nutrients - finally, some new minor tip burn which is what I was looking for. It’s about 1.25 gallons per day to keep her moist, 2 gallons to even get a cup of run off. (Every 3rd day I saturate her). New nutrient addition this week is tps signal- which I had great success with during end stage on another run. Plus I had hoped it would curb her appetite more. But by the 31st….she still wasn’t happy. I yell at her - “my goodness woman, what do you want from me!?” 🤣🤣 Mega nutrient increase coming up. 🙂 - and I’m watching the trichomes closely. I’m taking a ton of the lower branches/larf for a 6 week flower CBG harvest. I intend to mix it with the final thc flower product to maximize the benefits of the plant in certain smokes/edibles.

04/01/2023 - 56 days since my little girl sprouted from a seed Third week of bloom for my NYC Diesel 🍋🍊 Nutrients: Jungle Indabox - the girl responded well to the change in nutrients, so I continue to feed the same as last week when I adjusted the nutrients for flowering Jungle Environ X - bud stimulators 🌼 Bud Candy - bud stimulators 🌼 Atami - ATA Calmag - it is recommended to use Calmag when growing under LED lights I stopped the Hesi Root Complex - no longer recommended this week Training: LST: just a slight LST, I attached some small twigs with string to let more light shine on them 💡💡 Defoliation: I did more defoliation so that the leaves do not shade the already forming buds and the plant can breathe freely - this was necessary for NYC Diesel, it was very leafy 🍃🍃 Light: Mars Hydro TS1000, the girls are doing amazing under this great light, I can see a big difference compared to my past results 💡💡💓 In general: The girl is very strong, she has a strong stem - trunk, that is the basis for a proper plant 🌴. As the only girl in the tent, it's not a sativa, but a hybrid, which is fine with me, so the girl isn't as high as the others. Buds are already forming at the ends of the twigs 🌸 and there are many branches 🌾. It resembles a small dense bush. Very easy to grow in hydro, I did what I have done before, and did minimal defoliation. The plant drops some lower leaves herself as we go along anyway, as they begin to receive minimal light penetration. Northern lights had a shape that made it easy to grow with my light setup. The bigger buds were produced in the areas of the side lights, and let it also be known my harvest could have become a tad bigger if I hadn't picked off small buds and smoked them in the very end - must account for at least 30-40g or so, dunno precisely tho. The weed works like the usual homemade jazz, top notch. Top shelf. Northern lights did not disappoint, but I have pulled bigger yields of a White Rhino for example, made in the same manner. This is why it only get 8/10 stars. It simply lose two stars on yield, but the Rhino would also only have gotten eight stars, because it had deficiency problems on its own for example where this northern lights lady had zero deficiency probs - very stable plant. Recommended for both beginners and seasoned growers who are on the lookout for stable strains.

Just waiting. The pineapple chunk is quite fat. The critical seems more hardy. It resisted the light burn and recovered slightly better.

Well, week 9 of flower in the books and she is done as of this posting on 5/19 (day 63). She finished up well and the trichome development has nice mix of milky with a little amber. She's is extremely frosty and gives off a super strong smell of fruity goodness. She'll be cut down today, so stay tuned for the subsequent harvest report and pics. All in all, first time DWC bucket grow went well, in my estimation. It's a lot of work, but the results speak for themselves. I learned a lot with respect to monitoring ph, ppm, and ppfd readings, as well as reading my plant for visual cues. I eventually understood I needed daily readings b/c growing hydro conditions can change on a dime, especially for someone new to this growing method. But once I found my stride, the process became a bit easier. An important lesson learned was how much space is needed for hydro vegetative and flower growth. I literally had to move from the original 2x4 tent to the larger 3x3. And that is where she finished up. First time growing using Ganja Farmer seeds. The genetics are excellent and I can hardly wait for dry/cure to complete, so I can put her to the smoke test. And that, Amigos y Amigas, puts a bow on this spring's Ganja Farmer Seeds TKO grow.

This week she got the works.😎👍 going for max buds. Had to put sand in so i could kill of the little black fly's that lived in her soil...and the soil of the other plants. Got rid of them for 80%! I water her from the bottom now. The sand gives it a nice looking pot😎👍. This week will LST the tops too. Going for big!😉😎 9/5/21 : new LST for the queen.😎👍

This week we flip, actually, these pics are 2 days into the flip. All going good, its gonna be packed, have to get in the SOG and clear the bottom this week also, added a net to the SOG side to keep the canopy a bit more level. I hear, thats not a real SOG then, the point is, these plants are younger and even with a SOG keeping that canopy level is key. Humidity is always a chore, its something i'm worried about for the flowers so will install an even larger Dehumidifier over the next week or so. Using the spider farmer light control is nice and simple, my auto irrigation is working fine... Onwards and upwards.

Well we thought something was wrong with our white widow being that from one day to the other she was crooked and looking Ill.. so we cut her way before time.. BUT (bud hehe) after closer inspection it was a block of in the autopot.. so she prolly could have bounced back..

The plant did grow big and fat did not expect that. She have massive buds from top to bottom and she is now ready to be harvested and it should be a pleasure to trim the buds.

Day 29: LST is done. 600W LED, 20 hours on 4 hours off the same with ventilation. Insetvrhe lamp approx 36 cm away. Water intake: 75 ml per plant plus triggering, humidity around 60 percent. Fertilization is on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with BioBizz family, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday bat guano and Epsom salt. Critical Orange Punch started flowering se grows very quick. Rest of them are OK as well they are on the way... Day 30: I did LST again. I didn't have enough elastic band yesterday so I bought today and bent them better. I also set the lamp closer approx 32 cm.Day 31: I did LST yesterday and bent them. They already "lifted up" their heads toward the lamp. As they grow I will keep bending the main stalk and the side ones. I will try to create a spiral form and spread the plants with time. Day 32: Almost all of them started flowering except Sour Stomper. Day 35: Auto Critical Orange is the monster here. She is the most developed and tallestbwoth approx 28cm. (Hard to.measure property because of LST). Pre flowers developing nicely along the plants. I changed the lamp as it needed to my other tent because my other lamp is shit. So I will swap them one week here other week there... End of the week the tallest is Critical Orange Punch with approx 28 cm and the shortest Sour Stomper with 14 cm.
