A week in and four out of the six are ready to head to the big tent to go into their one gallon hydro buckets... I've been impressed so far with the 100% germination rate as well as the vigor in which these have taken off. The roots are well over 6 inches and they've been guzzling up this diluted nutrient solution I've started them off with.

Day 51 I finally see that they are gaining weight and starting to regain color. Thursday they will take the advanced nutrients hoping to be able to improve even more. Day 56 the girls are blocked but it is my fault .. D-29 : I made a mistake. I think the second top I did today was too soon. Only 4 days after the first one. What is done, is done. Now, let see what happend but, I'll wait more for the last top. I think I'll wait untill the new mains have at least 3 new real nodes. D-30 : Every thing is ok except that the new mains are really really really small.... It should be better in a couple of days. Growing this particular plant was extremely eye opening to me and the future grows I will be doing. It's allowed me to get first hand experience with a different strain, a new substrate, different nutrients and different ways of growing! I learnt that my yields will be enhanced through the use of a larger pot regardless of the substrate, light or strain, but the pot size I have makes for a very nice little plant with big 4 large frosty colas enhanced by advanced grow techniques. Damn it. Just missed the 200g dry weight... I thank everyone who joined me on this grow and specially to all those that commented!

Finished, plant smells intoxicating sweet and fruity, i also found a clear fragrance of chocolate. Smells do delicious, cant wait to taste the first fresh cured buds. I had some mildew, i immobilised it with uv-c light, killing the fungi and spores.

June 21: interesting how the tie down leads to the lower growth tips growing much faster. This is likely a reliable way to improve yield without stressing the plant very much. The response of this plant to the tie down is a bit of a revelation. I didn’t think these plants would do much with the cold weather start and potentially bad soil, but in the last month they’ve done great. Now using tie down method on some other autos where it looks equally impressive. Influenced by @Roberts and his auto tie downs using 12 gauge wire. Didn’t think this diary would be a contender for best outdoor grow, but now I think I better start posting weekly videos.

I sprouted 2 feminized Chocolate Mint OG seeds from HSO 😁💪🌱 these were taken from a pack of 10,the remainder I will sprout after flowering these 2 so I can learn their growth patterns (morphology) first. I'm starting them in a Jiffy Tomato pod.(really like these for watering.u can really see how much water u are giving them.) On a heat mat at 74° for the 1st 7 days. They are under 2x Viparspectra 600w LEDs in a 2x4 tent. At day 7 I transplanted #1 into a 1gal plastic round pot. And the 2nd plant will be going into a 7"x7"x9" They are both in Happy Frog Soil medium by Fox Farms. The plan is 6 weeks veg then flower time!

Week 8 Pure water feeding

This is one of the strains that is doing very well in both the technical/free versions, we are talking about the Fruit Punch Automatic by Zamnesia. Remember that we are growing a plant worked with the techniques indicated and another left to grow without pruning to preserve its speed; in the previous/next diary you will find the other plant of the same variety. In this diary we find a plant left to grow straight with a good bit of cleaning at the bottom but essentially left to go. We can see that it is probably the fastest of all in terms of flowering, train because at a certain point you have to start the Green Sensation, not before or after the magical moment of swelling of the flower.
