Clones and bonsai training. 818 already has pungent, awesome scent. GZ are still beasts. RD & BH have fantastic natural shape. D.61t/10f RDs Sativa growth is showing off now and stretching out as expected. looking beautiful. what she lacks in Veg State growth is definitely made up during bloom. hoping she fills in the holes of the canopy

A bit of defoliation early in this week with some LST, looked a little shabby after but they bounced back within a day or so. Also installed up right fan to blow air under and over the plants and small dehumidifier. Loving these plants and learning how to grow.

Hey guys . A wonderful week goes by with a super growth :-). After I topped it for the first time last week, it recovered very quickly and showed great growth. I don't think I will use topping again on the lady because I should slowly blossom with a few other women :-) think it will be ready in the next 7-14 days for Flowering 👍. This week it was poured 3 times with 1 l each time (for nutrients, see table above). The tent was cleaned and the health of all women was checked :-). After the photos she was sprayed again with neem oil so that the last little tripse disappeared. Even if you can't see any more trips I will spray it one last time next week to make sure :-). This was the last week on vegetation light schedule, we think she had grown enough to start flowering cicle. We also started the defoliation, gradually removing the leaves, when we find it necessary.

All growing well! She's taking the soul blend well and fattening up nicely. No kidding on the smell, it's very clearly an "old gym sock" smell... who knows what mutt strain she is. Any estimates on the final dry weight?

Defoliation definitely happened. She was getting very bushy. However, it's hard for me to NOT defoliate LOL. I want to see her true colors. I'm hoping my swollen nodes isn't telling me it's the opposite sex from seed..

Filling out the trellis net. Looks like another 2-3 weeks until I flip the ladies. Using SST’s, LABS and natural inputs for this grow. I have made some mistakes in the past using Organics, but have figured out HOW to use them for an entire grow. The vegetative state, I have never had a problem with. The transition into the first 3 weeks is when I have had the most issues. After a little research and testing, I finally have a basic blue print of how to feed plants in flower for 10-12 weeks now or shorter. Mark Bowell from Perfect Gardens on YouTube and Mr Canucks Grow from Canada are my largest information inputs. Final Thank you to Mr McGooz for keeping me in the know. 10-11: yes, some of the stalks are turning purple. This is not due to phosphorus, magnesium, or any deficiency. It is due to the light being too intense for the plants. I am at the max distance and running the light at 30% ( it’s a 600 watt 🤣🤣). Soooo yeah, that purple is going to stay for a bit. Purple with other leaf discoloration or senescence IS a problem, purple stems with NO leaf issues isn’t serious issue. Cant it be fixed? We are going to find out….Photosynthesis Plus will be on hand in the next 5-6 days. This permits the plant to USE more of the photons ( yes, I have carbon in my media). This should minimize the purple and allow me to UP THE WATTS 🗣️🗣️ 10-14: spoke to my “guide” and we made the decision to go ahead and flower these ladies. We saw how much stretch there is to be had and realized we are currently filling the trellis by 75%. We are estimating the entire 4x4 area to be completely filled. I defoliated and pruned the smaller sites off the lower areas of the plant. Not quite lollipopping, just selectivity choosing sites to keep and bones that will get in the way. For transition I am using a ratio of 1:1:1 on NPK’s to ease the flip. The ppm’s will be between 750-800. Once we reach early flower, we switch the NPK’s to 1:3:2 ( flower girl by Dr Earth OR Fish bone meal and langbenite). I switch each feeding between the two for 5-6 weeks. At week 7 we switch to 0:3:3 ( seabird guano and Langbeinite) at 500 ppm’s. Week 8 the same feed. Week 9 kelpseaweed/water Only ( these are 10 week cultivars). Yes, normally one freaks out 😂😂😂 The slight deficiency is a sign that I can go ahead and start: The Flowering Cycle. When using Organics, you have to use your eyes because nothing is specific. Meaning: you have to see when the amendments are running out to A: Top Dress B. Make compost teas. We are going the compost tea route for flower. I made a video showing exactly what I use. The ratio is 5-5-5 ( yes earlier we were going to use 2-2-2, but we found out there is no calcium or magnesium in the all purpose mix by Dr Earth…another reason to learn to read your plants).

The Jack47XL Auto was germinated in a Peat Pellet which took seven days for her to break ground. Within two days there were roots popping out of the bottom of the Peat Pellet. After she sprouted it was ON! By week two she had three set of leaves and she went into a 5g fabric pot to live out the remainder of her life. She started out short with tight node spacing and I was thinking she would be a fairly squat plant. But once she started to flower at around Day 30 +/- she absolutely took off on the stretch from hell! As she stretched her node spacing widened allowing plenty of light penetration through her canopy and her foliage never got super bushy requiring removing leaves. All in all she was a growers dream! I let her run for 10 full weeks and after her last Top Dressing at Week Seven she received only straight water that was ph'd to 6.7-6.8. After checking her trichomes daily during Week Ten and determining that she was where I wanted her, I placed her in the dark for 60 hours @ 64℉ and a RH of 45%. When I removed her from the dark I cur her off at her base and hung her whole in my Drying Room where she spent nine days drying @ 64-66℉ with the RH running at 50% for the first 24 hours, then raised to 60% for the remainder of the drying time. Being predominately sativa in her lineage, she grew fairly tall and maxed at 32". In addition to her height her really wide node spacing, which made defoliation or leaf tucking completely unnecessary, was so nice to deal with (or actually to NOT have to deal with!) and because of her structure and the way she grew, I decided not to do any LST other than gently bending a couple of her branches during Week Four when she was still short and bushy. After she was dried I trimmed her up and placed the flowers in two large Mason jars to cure. The flower is currently at 68% RH and I'm 'burping' the jars three times a day until it drops to around 62%. I did do a 'Test Press' with 7g of the flower and saw almost a 28% return of super light colored, almost clear, rosin that is some of the best I've pressed lately! 🔥 When you crack the jars your hit in the face with the sweetest aroma you've ever had the pleasure to smell...smell nothing like cannabis, more like a jar full of sugary sweet candy! 😍 Needless to say, I'm hooked on Sweet Seeds and head over heels for their Jack47XL autoflower and can't wait to run her again soon! Light fruit smell starting to develop I was told she was bread for breeding and I belive it big bull is heads with thin fragile stalk m. Looks like about a week left a few discoloring a bit!!

Day 28: I got home from 10 days of holidays and these girls had cruised along as if I had been there with them the whole time. They are very happy, especially the middle one. The small one on the right has always been small, is what it is. She could be a stack little shorty. Time will tell. I did a feed today, top dressed according to Gaia Green at 15 ml/ gal of media which should last approx 2 weeks. I also added a bit more 444 just to make sure there’s enough N during this stretch phase. All 3 have pistols showing and are starting to flower. I was unable to train as much as I’d have liked but is what it is. Sometimes the more indica strains I’ve done are negatively effected by topping and excess training. I removed a couple huge fans that were shading too much of the plant. I also am trying a “super cropping” of top fans to get them out of the way but still save them as a nute source if they need. We’ll see how it goes. The Vipar spectra xs2000 is killling it as usual. As I’ve said 50 times it’s super powerful and I’ve had to raise the light above recommended height as I started to see leaf edge curl and light stress. No problem at all tho, better too powerful and raise it than too weak and have loose buds. I did a micro top just to stop excessive apical meristem stretch and leaving all the other lower branches too low for effective light absorption or burn on the top cola. Happy Growing 🌱
