the gelato grows i did before in coco took 4 weeks longer but way more yield. This strain has a lot of resin production and is also good to grow during the winter

Originally I didn’t think I had much to update until I compared the plants photos at 7 days. The ff3’s have definitely responded better to their new home than the neighboring ff2. They are definitely getting a thicker stalk and adding more foliage. I started the week with a light dose of flora flex nutrients which is by weight rather than tea or tablespoon. They call for 1 gram of the v1 & v2 per gallon of water and I opted for 1 for the entire 6 gallons. But with no response I adjusted the ph and added a small amount of Cali magic and flora grow. On my previous rockwool multi time per day feeding I would have expected these to be twice the size at two weeks. Hopefully we get some explosive growth soon.

This week the time had come, the plants were chopped down. They were left to dry for almost exactly 7 days, a little too long as it turned out. One head bud had to be removed due to the risk of mold. All in all, the harvest turned out to be smaller, certainly also due to the fact that I could only grow three plants on 50x50cm in their vegetative stage to a limited size at the beginning.

Week 7 - The end's in sight. Some unseasonal hot days here, 29° to 34° this week so, the shade cloth has come out and they're placed in an area with the most airflow. Aphids keep on appearing so I contiune to check and spray with water on infected areas to keep the pop as low as pos; so far i'am on top of them. The pineapples are really packing it on and the smell is getting stronger every day. I've upped the nutes close to Biobizz's recommened and so far, there seems to be no negative feedback. Due to the heat I can't help but be a little concerned though humidity has dropped to during the day to about 50 and 80 at night for a few hours. I hope they're as resilient as their reputation suggests. The lemonade contiunes to chunk up, though I think she's as tall as she's going to get. The smell continues to increase in intensity which actually compliments the pineapples nicely. Again the weather's abit of a concern, even more for this girl as Fastbuds recommened cooler temps for this strain; I wasn't banking on temps like this for another month or so yet. I'am thinking I should start a few weeks earlier next season because if the Lemonades smoke as good as they look and smell i'll be growing them next season for sure. Fingers crossed.

Last week of flowering and will be cut !!! Very well formed by dense heads along the branches. I just cut one top of the plant and it gave very good results! I smell the fruit! I have made some flush due to nutrients that i gave during flowering...💪

As we cant check the grow tent all day except few hours per day we've missed some highs and lows of the temps and humidity but overall we were ok. Welcome to week 7! Almost time to flower and things are looking good. Since last week I did some light defoliation and cleaning up of the bottoms over a few days. I also lightly tied some of the branches out to allow a bit more light penetration but also to spread the canopy. This week (at the end of the week) the plants got one water containing a 2tsp of kelp, and 2 tsp of freeze dried coconut. The ladies also got one foliar spray with Mountain Organics sprouts, citrus and Rita oil combined with a small amount of Method 1pps (see picture in week 6). Temperature and humidity has really been steady thanks to the help of my Grow Ratio ESU and fans. Hoping I can keep this rate of growth into flower. Day 24-31 (Day 25) The smell in here is absolutely ridiculous. My last grow didn’t smell even close to this bad in early flower. (Day 27) Stretch is finally all done. #6 in the back is very stout and barely stretched compared to everything else. I doubt it will yield much but I’m excited to see the nice tight colas on it. It seems to be still getting adequate light and raising it up is hard to do with a scrog net so I will just leave it. If it wasn’t getting enough light it would be stretching right? The early frost is really shocking to me. My last indoor round definitely wasn’t this caked and I’ve never had an outdoor plant on this level either. That’s also true in terms of smell too. (Day 29) I’m still debating whether I should feed anything in flower or just leave it. The only deficiency I’m seeing is purple stems from P def which could actually just be from light intensity rather than a lack of P. I’ve done some thinking and I’ve decided to only feed my small plant. What I’m most curious about is if a PK boost will actually make any kind of a difference in flower when it comes to bud size and smokability. So to test this theory I will be top dressing a teaspoon of 0-18-0 bat guano, a tablespoon of 1-4-2 Destiny launch and a half strength watering of 0-0-15 kelp extract. I’m trying to avoid N all together as I just toxed my guinea pig plants with another experimental flowering PK boost that had a very small amount of N in it. This plant in particular actually has very early signs of N def and probably will fade harder than the rest. (Day 31) Shit. Looks like #1 is starting to herm. It’s definitely not environment or light leaks so maybe it’s just genetic or the recent leaching stressed it out too much. Either way, it’s only a single lower branch and I’m prepared to cut her down if I start seeing anymore. I double checked every other budsite but couldn’t find anymore. In my experience true herms usually start pushing bananas out of the main tops and plants like mine can usually be salvaged with little to no seeded bud. But then again it’s day 31, when these things usually start to happen. I’m 50/50 on this one. I will be watching it everyday like a hawk if anymore show up. The breeder I’m using, ‘Jordan of the Island’s’ is notorious for having unstable genetics and this will be the last time I run any of his stuff. The quality is good, certainly better than most European and Dutch genetics I’ve run but I know I could do better where genetics are concerned. I can’t wait to start hunting my archive dosidos x gelato 41 and in house sugarcane.

There is a real orange scent in the tent, a blend of fresh oranges and skunk scents. The buds take on size, the resin production is amazing and creates beautiful sparkling crystals on them. There are still 2/3 weeks to go, but these are the most exciting ones. In this week I added cal-mag to fertilizers, it is a preventive measure because I increased the amount of PK 13-14, so cal-mag supplementation will not harm the plant at this stage of flowering. Update: Day 87 I lowered the height of the lamp to 17 cm, I just need to put on my helmet, fasten seat belts and hold tightly to my chair :P Update: Day 88 I had to use wire-mode because the side branches were starting to bend more and more under their weight. Getting my better microscope in tomorrow so i can check on the progress. I had a small microscope but you have to ram that one into your eyes to see through it lol . The best way for me is to cut 😱😱😱 something off and lay it down. it works but still need to fine tune it a little better but amazing what you can see up close 👀 some leafes had a lot of ambers on it but the buds (not photography) are still clear so it has some way to go still. All good and looking happy. Started some LST. I was undecided if I was going to train these girls but decided to do it. I gave a 1/4 feeding of Advanced Nutrients Sensi Cal Mag extra. Now that I've had a good watering schedule down with slight dry back they have been surging with growth! One starting to flower fast and the other is right behind it.

week intel: im felling in love with them everything is good . this week was time of second net layer , the first layer was for spreading the branches and doing LST now the second layer is for supporting branches for later weeks when the buds gain weight and gets heavy the net will hold branch stand up without benting. stresses: im just gonna cause a little E.C stress to raise the terpens. i found their max tolerance is 1.9 E.C so im not gonna reach or get close to that amount again and beside this wont cause any more streses untill week 6 that will do second pruning and we are done with trainings then. feeding: as always im feeding plants 3 times per week with nutrients , no plain water at all, just with nutrients with adjusted p.h at this order : day 1 : i feed them heavy with silicate +base nutrients(calcium & micros + Bloom) and karbo about 950 ppm - 1.8 e.c to cause a little e.c stress. day 3 : i feed them low dose for start of Green House Feeding Booster around 267 ppm - 0.6 e.c alone cuz this bad boy is very strong. day 5 : i feed them with medium dose of Top-Max around 160 ppm - 0.3 e.c to let them recover the stresses and eat the previous nutrients untill next feed at next week and the next 2 days will rest and eat :D just remember never feed them plain water besides the first week of germination always feed water with nutrients to feed them right p.h every time and to avoid excess water problems, and let them eat the previous meal for 24 hours and dry the soil, so at total only feeding nutrients 3 times a week other days let them dry and rest

This is a must grow strain for anyone that likes a good balanced strong sativa , it grew well despite dripper and timer issues and had a really good medicinal side for crohns disease whilst leaving me energised and uplifted . This plant continues to stretch right until harvest even with heavy defoliating it ended up 150cm tall. The smell is really strong and differs between pheno types. One grew with almost no pistils/stigmas and was very frosty, this one could have continued Even after 9 weeks flowering . Overall this has taken over as my favourite sativa ! I WILL grow this again for sure and would recommend it to anyone who likes sativa or citrus smelling/tasting flower 💚 NB: I didn't weigh the bud wet so ignore the guess in the grow report.

09/03: They are doing fine, I currently have them in the same tent as my other grow, and will be moving them to my 2x4 in the next couple of days. Ill be running these with a new nutrient stack that i am not yet familiar with, and will follow the feeding chart, adjusting as needed. One of these is still a little runt and has not grown much height at all. It will likely just stay in that small cup all the way through flower, assuming that i even let it finish at all. I had only planned to take one of them to flower anyway. 09/08: Today i decided to get in an early topping. I am going to transplant her to a final autopot in a couple of days and wanted to get this stress out of the way. She is looking a little irritated as is. She is in the 2x4 now and i am not able to maintain higher than 55% humidity in this tent using a cheap humidifier. Probably would be worth grabbing a better one for this tent. But she will be in flower in a couple of weeks and then the lower humidity will not be a problem, so i think ill just roll with it.

Day 96, 15th of December 2020: Wao and wao... this is what I can say. A bit late I was on holiday I usually start the week with the first day but now with the last one. So let's start with the "black sheep" of this group as she is alone here RQS Wedding Gelato. Easy growing issue free little bushy lady. Absolutely great choice of grow. Pretty much ready for Christmas but she can be cut even now lol.... And now let's speak about the Original Sensible Seeds' girls... Well Black Ghost OG similarly to RQS Wedding Gelato is calm little bushy and issue free lady.... no problem all good ready for Christmas.... Runtz Gum the thick chick with heavy big buds and excellent appearance is really amazing. I placed a stick there and fixed her to look better... It was not necessarily but i have done it. She needs more time pretty much done ny Christmas or a bit after.... Gelato from Original Sensible Seeds is similar in terms of acting such as streching and all that ... The same situation applies not much to really say we wait ;) I am really happy to have these ladies.... Well, Do-Si-Dos OG is the craziest one ever... lol.... not only due her crazy kind of streching style but the trichome developement that comes along to the fan leaf "holder" stem is pretty crazy.... Those buds are like a diamonds sticky and she would be ready to harvest but need to wait because I need to go.... I really had to fix her by placing a stick there I broke one stem but fixed as it did not come off... so crazy especially now because of the weight of the buds... now she looks even more beautiful... I think she is the most challenging grow ever. Original Sensible Seeds genetics is unique really high quality just look at them. Royal Queen Seeds as well but this is my second grow from them my first was a Green Gelato which is the same calm littlw bushy plant. Amazing very good for newbies ;) I am going on holiday again and back on 28th of December so after harvest starts. Girls will be cut after. The 7th weeks starts with tomorrow 16th of December.... Only flushing and no more nutritient will be used. Soon full report comes. Lamp is the same 11 hours on and 13 off.... The last 4 days they will get 4 days darkness and only ventilation will be working no even more water ;)
