Hi everyone. By now a fat banana has come to an end. With next week I will proceed to the cut. Now it is being fed only on water (ph 6.2) The other little fat banana was infected with a caterpillar that was eating the stem internally. I eliminated the parasite and treated the wound of the plant with a totally natural product. It seems to me that he reacted well. The northern light proceeds ... it is still behind.

I guess I first have to extend a big thank you to James and the folks at RQS. The genetics of their “Northern Light” did not disappoint and this was a no fuss grow across all categories. This will be the only time you hear me refer to Northern Lights in the singular. It’s kinda like calling a “pickerel” a “walleye” - you just don’t do that up here😉. She took well to training, showed no signs of lockout or deficiency, and we were at the top limits of botanicare’s recommended feeding schedule the whole time. I’d call this typical NL - the scent wasn’t overly powerful, she grew somewhat squat and while I’m actually very surprised at the final weigh (thought it would be much less), the whole grow was typical of the strain in my experience. Possibly her biggest limiting factor was simply space constraints. The photos pretty obviously demonstrate that she got really crowded out by the neighbouring kush and I wouldn’t be surprised at all if she’d have done a little better with some more room. That said, what isn’t “typical” are the effects. RQS touts this as a cup winner and I can see why. Had the opportunity to sample a little and WHOA! She Hits with a lasting, cerebral and euphoric effect that starts as a light, happy high. Not a crippling or dulling effect at all. Just everything you’d expect from a well rounded strain in general. Perfect. I almost wanna describe it as a classic sativa but I’ve been smoking nothing but a pure indica for so many months now that anything different is gonna feel that way 😂. It’s been a pleasure hearing from everyone and I did what I could to keep ‘er interesting : 1:. Next up will be a couple autos on RDWC before the summer outdoor season (and a significant indoor upgrade) is upon us. End of Week 6 Added CO2 with regulator and controller! Added the trellis net to spread out the canopy and get more even light to bud sites. The ladies have lost some momentum and they're drinking less because of the pest issue. Although they should be growing faster because of the CO2 supplementation I'm sure when the thrips are gone they will explode. I also performed some HST by removing fan leaves and softly pinching and bending some of the stems to open up the canopy whilst keeping the stress at a minimal. Pest Report: Still fighting the thrips... Every time I spray Bio-Insek and Xterminator (Agro-Organics) it deals with the problem for a few days until the eggs and larvae that the thrips left behind hatch and start munching on the plants again. The ladies are strong and healthy and get a slight wilt when I haven't sprayed IPM for a few days this tells me that its not a major issue but I need to get rid of them especially because I want to flip to flower soon. It seems that the problem is under control. Now I will apply it weekly to make sure those buggers are ELIMINATED.

Good week as we had some nice weather, also provided a small amount of iguana grow and she's looking good, still 1 or 2 weeks to go before flowering, I've also started some LST to see if i can keep her small but with some more side branches, hopefully it works 😅 i never trained auto's so lets see 🙈

Day 27 flower: I love the Gz strain with a passion. The colours that are beginning to shown on all of their buds are beautiful already and they are not even half way through yet !!. #1 is by far the biggest girl with so many tops going for her final yield weight. #2 is plodding along still in her indica stout kinda way. forming ok too #3 was the tallest of the 4 and had to be supercropped to get the lower buds some light down there. gave 5 mains a 90° bend. #4 is still a little lady but is making nice bud stacks for the party too. They are getting sticky icky now too and smell really fruity when rubbed a little well done Barneys Farm

Que pasa familia, vamos con la cosecha de estas FBA-2506 de FastBuds. Por dónde empezar, es una autofloreciente que es normalita de cultivar, tiene un periodo corto de crecimiento y de floración igual no es largo. En cuanto a la alimentación , pues la aplique una vez por semana y a sido suficiente, se a comportado bien en interior, la flor pues no es muy prieta porque no deja de ser una autofloreciente, pero es una flor que va repleta de tricomas, y tienes unos colores morado intensos. El periodo de luz pues de principio a fin a 18 horas, fue suficiente para completar el ciclo de vida como esperaba. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨

This strain took really well to LST and didn’t seem fazed by the training at all. She did become a really heavy drinker about two weeks or so into flower and she definitely seemed to want more nutes than usual. I believe I’ve got two more seeds so will be running this one again if the smoke is worth it.

Grow is doing really well super excited to see it in a few weeks. Scrog net holding up well trien to keep right temp in my tent has been a trick.

Scored some solution grade organic fertilizers and blasted my plants. I fed solution grade langbeinite (0-0-21.5) and loaded with sulfur and magnesium. I found some liquid bone meal (0-12-0) and loaded with calcium. Another new nute is solution grade azomite, aka the a-z of minerals... it is the ash from an ancient volcano mixed with an ancient ocean water in Utah. I’ll feed those new nutes once per week as they’re kinda hot. Otherwise everything is the same as previous weeks.

Day 80, the buds are hard to the touch and smell a lot 🙌😋 she continues the very healthy flowering 🙌 size 68 cm👏🏻👏🏻 temperature 24º C ☀️, humidity 60% 💧 watering 750 ml only with osmotized water 💦💦 Session 45 min. of binaural sounds for growth and healing 🎼 and music 😉👍 Merry Christmas 🎅🏻

Aug 17: gotta love big fast plants. This is a nice big plant and the buds are forming very quickly. Added a scrog net layer because I realized the buds are getting heavy already and will likely want more support. These loosely placed Scrog nets are working great and they make it easy to expose buds while tucking fan leaves out of the way. Honestly, I can hardly believe how fast these buds are maturing. Very impressed. Aug 18: another cool and slightly rainy day but at least it’s not so smoky. This new normal of ‘which town is gonna get burned this year?’ Is not fun at all. This year is was a third of the town of Jasper which is inside a national park. Aug 21: this plant is awesome with really big buds forming quite quickly. The buds are starting to put on weight and the UV light is definitely helping to produce trichomes. 👍👍 I love this plant. #seedsman420growoff #seedsmanseeds

18/4 So, we had an amazing week, the Runtz grow of 10 extra cm during the flowering stretching , the buds are getting rich of fuzzy withe pistils, and the smell it's getting much stronger, from the second node starting from the bottom, both the branches had split creating 2 heads on the same branch, I've never see something like this before. As you can see from the picture the lower buds are flowering a bit slower than the ones on top, now it's kind difficult take some pics since the plant grow so much!

Day 88. Girl down ;) Think she will be in 70-80 g area, with about 50W light per plant - not bad ;))) Presume all girls left will brake that plank ;) Happy Growing !!!
