The Mango Kush queens, along with Lava Cake Pheno 1 and Pheno 2 (only 4–5 days old, but already catching up), were hand-selected to move forward toward flowering. Their roots were strong, white, and vibrant, ready to stretch and expand. Fabric pots were chosen for a reason: Why Fabric Pots? • Air pruning: Roots don’t circle and strangle—when they hit the pot’s breathable edge, they stop and branch instead. • Breathability: Improves oxygen flow to the root zone. • Drainage: Prevents overwatering and keeps the medium healthier longer. • Mobility & structure: They hold shape while allowing movement, especially useful early in veg. The plant has continued the stretch this week and the first flowers and trichomes have appeared :) The weather is still very sunny and hot but the plant looks good!

This week I have adjusted the ties on all the my plants , some defoliation and lst. I have given them a KNF foliar feed with Fish Amino Acid , Lactobacillus and WCA . Lumatek is now at 100%.

Finally peaked at the roots and they look healthy, all bright white. Flowers forming on all plants. Dark Purple KUSH plants have adjusted and the buds are growing well on those. Added Mammoth P microbes beginning of last week and again in the reservoir change this week. So far so good. Trimmed them all.

Aug 23: Sunday Punch EV is very fast and is getting close to ready. The buds are getting quite big and are weighing down the branches. Without the Scrog net she would be too floppy for all these buds. Plants are a bit too green lately so maybe there’s too much N still, but she’ll grow out of it. For pH adjustments I use apple cider vinegar normally but I ran out last week and was using malt vinegar. That must be one of the sources of excess N so I switched to regular white vinegar. Anyway, she is a very impressive plant. Aug 27: getting noticeably frostier. Hot again today. Increased water volume to about 9 L per day done as three 3 L waterings in morning, afternoon and finally in evening. Adding potassium silicate still to water and adjusting pH with vinegar and then adding a squirt of Dr Bronners Peppermint Soap as a wetting agent (surfactant) and the smell supposedly keeps bugs away. Unfortunately there are hardly any insects around any more, so, yay. Aug 28: flash pics before using red light. Don’t do flash pics of your plants if you don’t follow it up with a red light. Still seems a bit risky but this is the fourth year doing it and it seems fine.

result for the first one: after 7 days of drying, a cleaning of the last leaves, and by removing the branches, I obtain 51g dry; for a first session in cocot, I hoped 100g with my 2 plants; this one thus made its job. just barely. 😉 2 weeks to go before I know if the other one will do better 👌

Watered straight water on day 130, runoff & pH still high at 5/3230, raised lights to 23" above the canvas do give better coverage but only getting between 17,000-35,000 lux so I'm under lit for flower, might be upgrading to HLG Scorpion R Spec LED. Added half a tsp NPK Microbes Bloom Stage today, hopefully this will help.
