Day 30 toady, i switched to 12/12 3 days ago e the babies are already stretching hard and some are showing preflowers i'm pretty happy i'm watering with no nutrients as i'm using Canna Pro Plus soil and it should have enough nutrients for the first 3/4 weeks of flower. I cleaned the bottom of the plants from lowers branches and leaves and i will continua till day 14 of flower and i fixed it with a bamboo stick i got gifted from @AlpineGoat i will fix the other branches in the next weeks i'm pretty stocked with this grow this genetics are really solid growing strong and fast! Week 1 of the latest cycle and starting out with some new hardware and an expanded grow print👍. We’re running 4 autos via a recirculating Dutch bucket system. First time on a dutchy so it’s gonna be interesting to see how it stacks up against DWC. I’ll give a full rundown on the system I’ve cobbled together on the next update. So far - all seedlings have germ’d without issue using the standard p-towel method. Why more people don’t use this method on GD is beyond me. It’s so reliable that some breeders even warranty your seeds if you use this method and more than 1 seed fails to crack. We’ve got little sprouts coming up now and it’s all just waiting for those first couple fan leaves to come out and those roots to run to the bottom of each bucket. They’ve been placed in root riot cubes (essentially a version of rapid rooters) like most of our runs and I’d recommend their use with all autos. Time and stress on young autos is key so they need the absolute best start you can give them👌. End of week update - looks like we got 4 quality little seedlings here👍. Alls good other than battling a ph issue for most of the week. Keeps spiking overnight for no real reason - hopefully it’ll even out and isn’t the early sign of a major problem🤞. Background The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Day 60 11/27/20 welcome to week 10 I had a busy week last week trying to counter my cal/mag problem but I feel I'm making headway and she looks to be still growing good. I have been making changes to the nute level's that I think will work out for the best. I'm adding overdrive to the nutes this week as well. as always feel free to comment and keep your stick on the ice

This plant seems to have grown much denser and better than my first plant. I just got the ac infinity ventilation setup with controller 69 for my 2x2, still trying to learn, hopefully grow #3 goes even better. Stay tuned

Dank des Super Wetters hab ich hier 77%-80% Luftfeuchtigkeit (draussen ist es noch höher ) und es wird auch noch warm . Ergo, schon gestern hat meine Pflanze extreme Probleme mit der Wurzeltemperatur bekommen und hat die Blätter hängen lassen . Ich hab das Licht runtergeschraubt und Abluft extrem erhöht. Ventilation direkt in die Pflanze sonst gibts Schimmel . Aber hilft halt nicht wirklich . Luftentfeuchter läuft auf Dauerschaltung und produziert dann auch noch Wärme, die ich überhaupt nicht gebrauchen kann bei den Temperaturen draussen lol. Ein Teufelskreis :(((((( Day 55: + 1.75 Liter Flaschenwasser + + Dünger für Blühte + + + Canna Terrar Flores (Achtung wirkt wie PH-) + + + Canna Boost + + + Cannazym + + + Canna PH+ + + PH 5.88 Draussen sind 31 Grad , ich hab den ganzen Growroom + Vorraum (meine Wohnung ) über Nacht runtergekühlt so weit es ging (23°C und 22°C). Das Licht noch weiter reduziert dafür näher an die Planze gemacht. Das ist wirklich das mindeste was noch geht. Liegt ca bei PPFD 600 an der Spitze . Wenigstens ist hier die Luftfeuchtigkeit im Rahmen , zwar immer noch zuviel (67% im Zelt) aber besser so als das hier die Hitze in die Höhe schießt . Nach 12h Licht (19:00 Uhr) wird dann wieder aufgedreht und die letzen Stunden mit mehr intensität nachgeholt was nachzuholen geht , denn dann gehen hier erst wieder die Temperaturen runter . Day 56: Läuft wie gestern ab 19:00 wurde das Licht aufgedreht und DLI nachgeholt .

The plant is really small hopefully there are a few grams xD and now it is even infested towards the end and has to go out in quarantine lol

She only grew 2cm this week so that means she is is full flower mode. Look how much the trichomes have increased this week! I've never grown a CBD strain before, is this what they do? 😃 Minimal input from me this week. Just watering.

Nov 20, 2019 The plants are doing well. Gave them and the soil in the entire 5 gallon pots a good drenching with a compost tea, kelp, alfalfa, fish hydrysolate, and molasses blend. I'm also realizing I could be watering these girls a bit more. Being a newby I'm over cautious of over watering. But I'm finding the light airy soil mix I made combined with fabric pots.... the soil dries rather quickly. No signs of under watering, but I think I can water them more. This week I'll start watering a couple of cups daily and once a week give the whole pot a good drenching to keep the rest of the soil (where the plants haven't grown into yet) damp.✌️ Nov. 22, 2019 Well I think the girls are starting to give off a little scent. Opened the doors to the room and noticed a slight aroma of woodsy dank. Put my nose right up to the plant.... and yup, they starting to smell. Nov. 23, 2019 Noticed the front row was growing faster and taller than back row. At the start of this week I swapped the rows, moved 2 Zkittlez and 1 Californian Snow to the back row, 2 Californian Snow and 1 Zkittlez to the front row. Today I started LST'ing the taller plants, 2 Californian Snow and 1 Zkittkez. I hope the other 3 catch up soon. I want to keep these all close together. Nov. 24, 2019 I've decided to keep separate diaries here at growdiaries for each of these two strains. Reason is I can focus on journaling the growing characteristics, experiences both good and bad regarding each strain independently. Also after spending time here at growdiaries, I've realized this will make it easier for fellow growers growing or researching the same strains I am to sort through diaries regarding these specific strains when looking for information. Started to LST the 3 tallest plants... earlier I posted the front row was growing faster than the back row. That was Saturday Nov. 23. I LST'd the other 3 the next day. I'll have more details in the individual diaries... links posted above. Started watering today 6 cups/ pot. This seems about right as I'm getting very little run off and the bottoms of all the fabric pots are wet. I found this Hydrofarm soil moisture/ph meter in a box that was with all this equipment I acquired. The electrodes were corroded, after a little sandpaper on them I think it's working pretty well. That's it for this week. ✌️👌

I think this is the final week before harvest. Only water.

2/9: pH balanced water given today. Flowering sites are starting to explode a bit. Top leaves appear to have light burn. I've got my light at max height so I can't move it up any higher..trying to push the light over to the side as best I can 2/11: light defoliation and feeding... Coming along nicely!
