Start of week 3, the three survivors are doing great! I did happen to find some algae growing on top of one of the rockwool cubes. (This was my fault for not fully covering the tops of them with hydroton to block out light.) As an attempted fix, I cut some square pieces of black cloth that I laid of the top of the cubes to block out the light completely. Hoping removing their light source, the algae will die off and discourage any further growth. If it gets any worse I’ll try using a hydrogen peroxide solution. Day 17, the three ladies are looking nice. Starting to see some nice healthy roots populate inside the buckets. I went ahead and upped their nutrients today. We will see how they are doing in the morning. -FloraFlex - 1.5g/gal of each V1 and V2. -Advanced Nutrients - 1/2 strength MGB and hobbyist additives. **Algae update: seems like using the black cloth to block out all the light has killed off that algae growth and I don’t see anymore so it’s working!** Day 18, I thought one of my plants had root rot. Which was weird for it to happen that fast in less than 24 hours since changing the res. Come to find out it’s just nutrient stain from the Advanced Nutrients, so thank god. #1 and #2 which are growing with FloraFlex got FIMmed today. I’ve topped plants before but never FIM. Not sure if I did it right, but that’s the fun in all this, is experimenting to see what works. Day 20, #1 and #2 are responding well after being FIMmed couple days ago. I decided to FIM #3 as well. I also decided to leave the 4th one out of this diary from here on out since she’s behind. We will stick with the original three that survived from the start. So far I’m really loving their bushy appearance and thick leaves. Their roots are coming out super nice as well! Pretty soon these babies are going to just take off!

Not much happen during this week. Plants look healthy and on a good track. They drink roughly 2l a day

The plant is developing well after pruning. its branches grew well. I removed the first node as they were small.

Day 29: Beginning of week Problem: there are some flies in grow room and treatment will start from today to discover what they are and how to get rid of them. we will let soil on top get dry and hang a few yellow stick to catch them. Light will be changed to 600W next week. I caught one of bugs and I guess it's a fungus gnat. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Day 30: Fungus Gnats Update: there were no more adult one and plants are looking better. CCA1,CCA2,CCB1 had their Nutrient feed in big pot after transplanting stress with 6.3 PH and 1.2 EC. CCA1 had 2L Nutrients mixed with water with 100 ml Run off (7.3PH and 7.5EC). CCA2 had 2L Nutrients mixed with water with 100 ml Run off (7.8PH and 6.4EC). CCB1 had 2L Nutrients mixed with water with 250 ml Run off (7.6PH and 5.9EC). CCB2 had a dry day CCC1 had dry day so fungus gnats wont attack this pretty lady. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Day 31 All the plants were fed with Sensi Cal-Mag Xtra foliar feeding. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Day 32: Fungus Gnats Update: I made Cinnamon mixed with hot water, after 24 h this mixture been sprayed everywhere. CCA1 and CCA2 had a dry and normal day. CCB1 Had some defoliation CCB2 and CCC1 had their Nutrient feed (6.3PH and 1.7EC) CCB2 had only 1L CCC1 had 2.5 L Nutrients mixed with water with 150 ml Run off (8.0PH and 7.3EC). CCC1 had her last veg fed and she had more LST and Defoliation. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Day 33: it was a dry day for all the ladies. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Day 34: Dry tea had been mixed with top of the soil in pot. CCA1,CCA2,CCB1 had 2.5 L water each with 6.0PH and 0.4 EC CCC1 And CCB2 Had dry day ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Day 35: Last day of Veg weeks Fungus Gnats Update: there is one or two not more. i think i am close to defeat them. It was a dry day for CCA1,CCA2,CCB1 but some LST were performed on them. CCB1 had 1L of water with 6.1PH and 0.4 EC. CCC1 had more defoliation and LST. we wont perform any training on her for next week so she can get a full recovery with good flowering nutrients. CCC1 had 3.5L of water(6.1PH and 0.4 EC) with a 500ml Run off(9.3PH and 6.1 EC). I gave her more water so she can give more run off before starting flowering nutrients on her. They are reaching the end of stretch. I noticed light stress on #1 so I raised the lights. I also added a 3rd trellis to help support these girls so they can focus on growing! They got big fast, and those leaves are huge so I had to go in and remove some of the bigger leaves that was shading out my lover canopy

What a beautiful girl she is, getting thicker by the day. The smell is nice and strong, like overripe fruit, earth and cleaning agent. Very lovely with still two more weeks to go..

The autos are doing better than they were I got a new bottle of calmag cuz the older one was old. I still could use some warmer temps. I've been turning the exhaust fan down to the lowest level but the RH goes way up. I might move them into the tent with the HPS soon which settles around 82°f but that light makes the RH go way down so this whole thing is just a pain in the nuts.

Ok so this week I did a defoliation and a tigh down too the netting , I really was not planning on doing such a big defoliation but the leafs became thick and dense and there was almost no light penitration down too the lower branches of the plant , so she is opened right up now and the humidity and temperature has dropped loads and the air is moving alot better around the leaves and branches , I will not take anything more off her now , I have also added Cal mag too the nutrients for this week only , I am very happy with them so far and being new too all this it's all very exciting , Thanks for looking :)

Early flowering happened earlier than I expected. Is that because of some sort of stress or something? I think, they aren’t mature enough.

Day 21 and the girls are really starting to take off.I did some LST on 3 of the 5 so far and will get the other 2 bent over in the next few days. Day 27 I watered with recharge tea and tied down some branches to get some more light into the center of the plants.I have increased the light intensity to 50 percent and slightly lowered the humidity this week.

06/16/2019 Star Cookies has her own tent back,and good thing because she is spreading out and reaching for the sky! I can only hope she is done with the stretch and ready to fill out, otherwise I'll have to raise the tents top somehow.

ladies have started to take off much more this week. I added heavy 16 finish to schedule of nutes. may be adding fire and roots also over next weeks. no huge issues this week, felt pretty dialed in for most part. using grow room glasses ive found i can get decent video of the girls under lights vs having to take them oit find ok lighting and taking a pic. noticed smell coming off the plants this week, its weak right now, but definitely starting to stink! going to top at the 3rd node once they reach 8 inches tall. after day 28, I transferred into 3 gallon fabric pots, which will be their final homes til harvest! (bottom leafs on plant #1 got some spotting, one side was windburn from earlier in grow, the other side I got a few drops of nutrient mixed water on them, and even after wiping away it left spots on leaves, its all good they are going to be removed after topping)

as it is so important to let the plant develop its roots, i wait a few weeks to do the first topping so the plant has better conditions to recover. The topping helps to stimulate the growth of the plant itself. This method may "stress" the plant but actually stimulates it. But doing this we are delaying its growth, that is, it takes a little longer. But no problem! Then after a few days She Will be transplanted to the final por. what do you think ? looks weak, doesn't it? don't be fooled. in the next entry you will see how it looks... a monster 🥦🥦

Starting week six of flower. Conducting a defoliation experiment. It has good controls being a rdwc single strain grow in a 4 x 8. So defoliated half the tent and leaving the other half untouched.

Time to Acclimate! Small dose of nutrients & LEDs will go from 50 -75% over the course of the next week. ~~~~~~~~~~ Roots look good, transplanted and ready to explode through veg! Nutrients will be on next week's post - the above is what I use to acclimate.
