The third week has been an explosion of growth. The last two days, (day 20-21) have been growing like crazy. Excited to see what happens in the following week with growth vs the plant getting ready to flower. I’m thinking I will see pistols any day now. LST has been a great success. Pulled plant down at third node. Took the training very will and was fully rebounded by the next day. Second round of LST I was a little rough and broke off the largest fan lead trying to open her up to get another spike in. Currently she has three stakes in pulling her down and directing a stem in the opposite direction. I think that in the next few days I will be applying around 3-4 more stakes pulling more of her nodes apart. I did a very very light nutrient fertilizer this week because I feel like she is starting to get all the nutrients from the soil. The fertilizer was essentially all CalMag, mykos, great white and humic and fulvic acids. Her color is great and growth is really taking off. Next week will be a nice feed of black strap molasses to feed the microbes. PAR at the top is 430

Germination week has begun for my Autumn 2021 grow! These are seeds of Mephisto Genetics Deep Blue C x Sour Bubbly that I was given by the widow of my recently passed fellow grower buddy, Adam. I'm honoured to keep this hobby of ours alive and what better way than to use seeds Adam was growing himself. I've been using this germination technique lately of just placing the bean in the little containers seeds come in sometimes (as pictured) filled with some water. I've had 100% success so far usually after 2 days or so. Hope I didn't just jinx it! Update: I was away and didn't take the seeds out in time, left them in water for nearly 48 hrs. My fault. Out of 5 seeds, 3 visibly damped off. Planted the 2 seeds with healthy taproots into soil to grow some before transplant.

**Week 8 - Third Week of Flower** Things are getting wild in the Donutz tent! After the insane stretch last week, the plants have turned the space into a full-on jungle. The start of Week 8 called for drastic measures, and the results are setting the stage for explosive bud production. **Key Updates**: - **Aggressive Defoliation**: On Day 1 of the third flower week, the plants underwent a *brutal* defoliation. Every bud site that had started to develop its own leaves was stripped of its fan leaves, allowing light to flood the canopy. Even the smallest sites now have excellent exposure, giving them the best chance to mature into chunky nugs in the coming weeks. Despite the intensity of the trim, the plants are resilient and primed to bounce back strong. - **Boosted Nutrients**: To support the plants after the stress of defoliation, I added another 5-6g of Greenhouse Feeding Bloom per plant. This ensures the soil stays nutrient-rich and gives the plants the resources they need to recover and thrive. - **Watering**: Still rocking reverse osmosis (RO) water, ensuring clean and efficient hydration without any surprises. **Observations**: - The canopy is significantly cleaner and more open, with light now reaching deeper into the lower sections. - The plants are handling the defoliation well, with no immediate signs of stress or shock. - Bud sites are already looking promising, with visible development and an even distribution across the canopy. **Looking Ahead**: The next few weeks will be all about letting the plants recover and watching the buds stack up. With improved light penetration and a fresh dose of nutrients, everything is lined up for some impressive development. The Donutz are thriving, and the Florida Gang vibes are at an all-time high — the tent is set to deliver big!

The coco hempy buckets continue to impress. The rate of growth is just insane compared to the conservative nature of hand watered soilless mix. The girls are getting 2 heavy feedings daily, once right before lights on, once at lights off. Responding tremendously. The largest daughter has broken 4 feet this week and hopefully the stretch is coming to a close. Good thing for my headroom. I am having difficulty with humidity this week due in part to the weather, but I feel mostly because of an underpowered ac and mucho transpiration coming from the leaves. Set for second round defoliation in three days and hopefully some break from the heat. Struggling to keep the room under 70 rh right now.

Flowering day 18 since time change to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) The ladies have recovered well from the cold thanks to the heating mat and have developed beautifully 👍. During the check today I saw that despite spraying neem oil 3 times, there are still a few trips :-( . Now I've ordered nematodes again specifically against trips for leaf and substrate. I will use that immediately 👍. Watering was done twice this week, each time with 1.3 l (nutrients see table above) Next week I will remove the lowermost shoots so that the energy goes into the upper buds. Fresh osmosis water was mixed with tap water and put into the 100 liter tank so that the water can stand and I'll have enough next week :-) Otherwise everything was cleaned. Backing off the feeds a little now that they are coming into the final weeks of flower. Did a good bit of defoliating this week to help get airflow to the lower areas. Happy with the bud growth they are really starting to fatten up now. Onto week 8! 😬✌️

So as I'm not home this week i will just update what i did on my last day home. I added another reservoir, put a pump in it and a fill hose up into my main reservoir (which is 4 feet off the floor to gravity feed my blumat system). Installed a JB and wired in my pump and 2 level switches. They are wired in series with the switches in the normally closed position so the water level will break or make the circuit. Switch 1 is in the main reservoir to call for water and switch 2 is in my spill tray to stop a potential runaway from happening. After getting everything filled to the levels i wanted i did a test run and it worked great. Unfortunately i didn't look closely enough at the specs on the switches and #1 burnt out because it's meant for dc power not ac. My bad , so i hooked up a timer set it for 2 minutes a day as i didn't have time to fix it. I decided that it was a good time to flip over to flower and I'm going with 13/11 lighting schedule see if there's any difference. Happy growing

slow start for the gorilla glue family (gorilla glue auto and the strawberry glue), the wedding cake from Barneys farms started surprisingly flowering after 3 weeks! :D The wedding and all others needed a lot of defoliating but now the wedding has slowed the growth on the leaves and focussed on stretching for some nice strength to the dense buds its growing :D Every other day the strawberry and gorilla need defoliating to stop the bud sites being covered.

Week 8 – Day 59 (Flower Day 29) 🔄 Recap Still using diluted osmotic water, but the drain pH remains stubbornly low – stuck between 5.6 and 5.8 📉 After trying with Canna pH+, I’ve decided to switch back to BioBizz pH+, which worked reliably in my last grow to raise pH when using Advanced Nutrients. Apparently, the combination of Canna pH+ and AN doesn’t play well together 🤔 🌿 Plant Status – White Widow 📏 Height: 110 cm – she’s still growing steadily 💡 I had to dim the LED slightly – currently around 950–1000 PPFD ✅ She’s handling the light intensity very well, no signs of stress ⚗️ Feeding at 100% Advanced Nutrients Masterline 📌 Summary White Widow looks great overall. Even with the suboptimal drain pH, no visible issues so far. Still, I’ll try to bring the pH up slightly again – BioBizz pH+ is on the way.

This week we’ve had abit of growth not as much as I’d hoped, most of the side nodes have been ate my snails so must have stunted her a lot, I topped her few week ago and both new heads started to come out then the slugs had ate one so I’m back to 1 head and no side branches, hoping now I’ve dealt with them and won’t get attacked again and she can do her thing. We will see, was hoping to get a net over her soon to spread her out but not looking promising with no side branches left just a main head again. That’s all this week, happy growing 🌱

She grows nice and quick if you Treat her well! I transplanted and made a couple mistakes so she didn’t reach 100% imo but it’s still a nice turn out! Hadn’t she not gotten pollinated I think the yield would’ve been more! Oh well still not a bad turnout will compare her to my other cut of this strain I have finishing up! Hi all👨‍🌾👋 Welcome to my another week update Hope everyone keeping well 🧑‍🌾 Week 6 Mar 8 - Mar 14 It was another easy and exciting week. Everything going absolutely great. Both girls stretched nicely despite selective defoliation on Mar 9. They bounced back almost immediately. Started adjusting mixtures towards removing fish mix completely and replacing with Bio grow. In coming week will adding bio bloom and top max to mixture. There was 2 waterings of 3ltr on Mar 9 + last foliar feeding and second on Mar 13 and it was first large feeding 6 ltr beetwen both. Surprisingly only a few drops of runoff. Watering in stages of approx. 500ml every 20-30min. Decided to not install a scrog this time as want to have opportunity to apply more old school methods of training and to be able to remove/rotate girls easily. Let's see if this will pay me off. Growth is super, despite having splitting and getting a break where I topped due to something falling on the plant. I quickly patched her up with some electrical tape and a cable tie and she recovered within a day! Super resilient plant. She's starting to smell and putting out a few pistils already at the end of week 1 flower!
