7/1: This plant has been extremely fun to watch do its thing over the last few weeks. Those little mistakes I made or neglected in my first grow have significantly helped me get off on the right foot this time around. Not to mention, I feel that the plant/genetics is fairly low maintenance. As I mentioned at the end of last week's entry, I started a little LST on the lower most node. Today, I have added landscaping staples to the second lowest node to allow it to stretch out and get more light from under the quickly growing top canopy. In addition to starting LST on the second lowest node, I did bring the light down to 16 inches above canopy at 60% power. This gives me a PPFD reading of roughly 750, which could be inaccurate due to using the phone app, but it still gives me a good idea of how much I should bump light power up each time. 7/3: Today was a big day for the Mrs. Gorilla Cookie. I decided it was time to add in a bit more soil as well as some amendments. I added 3tbsp of Gaia Green Power Bloom 2-8-4 and 1tbsp Gaia Green All Purpose 4-4-4. I then reapplied the landscaping staples to continue LST. The plants seem to be responding well to the light increase that I applied on 7/1. At the time, I was worried it would be too much, but the plant is really soaking it up and praying toward the light. I may increase the light a bit more at the end of the week. In addition, I plan to try out a self watering base toward the end of the week. I will going out of town soon for the remainder of July and need to test the base before I leave. I do have buddies that will help, but I would like things to be as easy as possible for them. I also hear great things on these self watering bases and if it works out will, I will definitely incorporate them into future grows. 7/6: The end of week 4 has come and this plant is really starting to kick into high gear. I do think adding in the bloom amendments really helped. Great, speedy growth, and looking green and healthy. Pistils have started to form and she's definitely starting to get a little stank. The lights are still at 60% but due to the constant growth the canopy raised causing the light to be 12 inches close and PPFD up to 950. I did notice a tiny bit of tacoing so I lifted the light a couple inches. I am now trying to keep them at a constant 14 inches above the canopy with a PPFD of around 850. I will likely hold off on adjusting the brightness for another few days, as I am liking the results I'm seeing. I started the plant on her self-watering base yesterday when I would have usually given it a feeding. Its only been a day, so its too soon to tell just how well its working, but the soil seems to be at a perfect moisture at all times. I did feed a little from the top today to help some of the nutrients that may still be at the top work its way into the pot. Overall, solid week. This grow is already shaping up to exceed my expectations and I feel pretty good about making it through the Veg stage in one piece. On to the flowering stage! ***** Week 11 growth - February 13 to 19, 2021 - Week 2 Flower ***** CL1 is staying more temperamental and will start to focus a little more on her separately trying to correct. She hasn’t been giving the most run off of the group so possibly a pH issue forming, could be a little too much water for her?? CL2 has been awesome! She was slower in Veg but her tips are up and she is stretching💪 Looking like she should stack a couple of those colas👊 Also, CL1 has more branching on her just due to limited access to her in the tent compared to CL2. 2nd SCROG layer in now....finally😞 Lots of work to do in cleaning up the lower leaves next week. Will do larger leaf strip and lolipoping when they start focusing more on bud development. Light is at 24” only pulling 310 watt, and the meter at the tops of the girls is roughly 28,500LUX. It is feeling like it’s a little strong for them but it’s close......the curling leaves is slowly increasing on the tops. Nutrients switched over to flower schedule and following week 2.....but so-called back a couple of items. Adding some other items beyond IPP line so backing off some of the ppm to compensate. Still only one “feeding” per week. Early flower so hitting the microbes a little harder this week and next and then slowly start backing off. I like Remo’s Natures Candy for sweetener because it has humic, sweetener and old school molasses, amongst other things to feed the microbes as they are in coco. Bud Fusion being used now for pk boost.........no more “red kool-aid”😂 Still adding Rezin from Green Planet becuase it seems to boost my trichome quantity.....Terpinator likely this week as well......increase some of the sulfer to increase aromas. Little more detail....... Feb 13/21 - Day 8 - 3.5L watering with CalMag @ 1ml, Nature’s Candy @ 1ml, Resin @ 1.5ml Feb 14/21 - Day 9 - 2nd SCROG added today.....finally. Plucked a bunch more leaves in the process - watering with microbes only today. Recharge has some molasses in it so just adding that. - 4L water for these girls with Recharge @ 1/2 tsp/gal - 320ppm and 6.0pH Feb 15/21 - Day 10 - today is big feed day....its been 7 days. - 3L each girl with all the IPP line as listed plus silica @ 1ml, Nature’s Candy @ 1ml. (Bud Fusion was 0.2gr/L) - 1325ppm and 6.0pH - Girls gave run off at 3L today so didn’t push past that. Feb 16/21 - Day 11 - some feed left from yesterday so added 6L of plain water to dilute it and watered into the girls tonight. - 3L full feed of nutrients for each girl - 800ppm and 6.1pH - CL1 is coming out of her funk.......or she has just been Hungary the last couple of days😃👍 - CL2 is looking like she is in flower with her thicker stalks, leaf growth in bud sites, bigger buds themselves....she is well into flower now. Feb 17/21 - Day 12 - 3L each girl with Terpinator and CalMag @ 2ml, Nature’s Candy @ 1ml, Recharge @ 1/2 tsp/gal - 775ppm and 6.1pH - increased light power to 350 watts. Now at 32,500LUX.......take it slow over the next week and keep creeping up. Leaves have a bit of a taco shape coming out and looking fairly serrated at the edges.....pushing the light intensity on the tops👍 - leaf colour on the girls is very good......tips are not burnt either. - CL1, cut two lowest branches from the main stem......they are not reaching high enough on the canopy........energy suckers😀 Feb 18/21 - Day 13 -3L each girl of plain water today - added beneficial bacteria and enzymes @ 1.5ml - 330ppm and 5.9pH - was looking for a little lower pH as I have not been checking runoff. - CL1 - cut off two lower main branches from her......they weren’t going anywhere......she has too many side branches anyway. - have to do a leaf strip this weekend......start of week 3. - light power increased again, 400 watts now. Feb 19/21 - Day 14 - day out day.......they have not had one in a bit. - humidity was higher today as door to grow room closed today to assist clones with more humidity. - CL2 is looking really nice. Bud sites getting larger and not thinking there is much stretch left in them to go. - CL1 has been slightly happier the last two days......added more air movement around her to help, So that takes us through two weeks of flower now. Not knowing these girls enough yet, I suspect feeding will stop at the end of week 6. That leaves four more weeks. I will treat the next two weeks like mid flower for nutes, and the following two weeks as late flower. Feed supplements accordingly. Mimosa girls will be taller but these two are holding their own. They are rocking ETS.......looking forward to seeing the bud swelling next couple of weeks💪👍👊🙏

Hello. This is the end of week 10 and the beginning of week 11 of veg. Got the girls out to the greenhouse this weekend. And the guys too. Repotted the 6 females into the big pots. And training has started already with the metal rods to hold down the long branches. For each pot I mixed 4 gallons of soilless soil and 2 gallons of compost and 1 gallon of perlite/vermiculite. That filled each pot about 3/4 full. After transplanting I filled up the top 1/4 with the soilless soil. All the pots got about the same amount of soil within 1 Liter +/- The plants did well being bent into place. I broke 1/2 of plant #6's mainline. Wrapped twine around the brake and bent the branch over the bar and held it in place with a metal rod. That will work for me. You can see in the picture. I'll give a bit more water later today but with the compost the plants will have enough food for a while, so I won't have to feed for a while. I'm still planning to start flowering around June 1st to Aug 15 or so, to take advantage of the strong summer sun. These plants should take off once they get a taste of the compost. Ok. Be Great. The plants were doing great, i feel that this strain can go for a better grow. Overwatering was an issue for me because of this strain packs buds and leaves are very little on it. Next grow for this strain i will need to improvise the watering schedule. This strain takes up very little water.

Very happy with this weeks growth. So much sugar. I did lots of trimming after last weeks pictures. These girls were flushed yesterday and the smell is really starting to show. Will get some good trichome shots uploaded later today, starting to see lots of milk soon :)

Quick update Day 7.. moved around the tent...just because.. Defoliation will start next week along with ok boost

No signs of flowering yet, maybe slight formation of calxys beginning. Been spraying with molasses, neem, cal mag and liquid kelp (bioweed) and superthrive just once to hopefully delay flowering to increase yield. P.S. if youre new at growing DO NOT try this unless you know what your doing with hormones etc. Theres a chance it can turn your girls hermie. Just be aware!

Day 22 - 06/04-2024 - Watered 2L - I am trying out LST with this one. Starting out with a soft bend using cotton thread. before bending i gently rubbed the stem between my fingers to soften it up Day 25 - 09/04-2024 - Watered 1,5L - I am really satisfied with my LST work so far and now i regret i did not try this out earlier....

Hello. This is the end of week 9 and the beginning of week 10 of veg. Stuff is growing good in the greenhouse this week. I was in there yesterday putting the longer branches under the rack or tying them down. I'll go back in there today and finish clipping under the racks of leaves that don't get enough light, prime powder mildew places and small sucker branches that take energy away from the growing tips. I added some of the cactus pictures I have growing in the smaller greenhouse. It's 6 foot by 10 feet. They all get good food even though some of their pots are starting to fall apart. I watered the cactuses yesterday and a paper wasp lands on my cheek, they normally leave me alone and just fly around me. But a large queen wasp has been coming to get pull their young from the paper nest so the paper wasps are on edge anyway. I sort of panicked and swatted it away and knocked off my hat too.😧 I bent down to get my hat and the little bugger stung my little finger of my left hand. I guess it's poison didn't go in very far because my finger is barely swollen today. Stupid wasps. I let them stay because they help so much in the garden. I often see them fully loaded with some greenish pulp they have in their front legs that they can hardly land on their nest which is often upside down. This is the last week of veg. It's been a cold spring this year and the plants haven't grown as much as on a hot spring year. Oh Well. Keep Grown Straight. Chuck.

the girls are struggling a little bit. One is yellowing because its about to flower, but one is just not growing much and the other is very lanky.

Runtz Punch grew great. The only problem is she was a autoflower labeled as a photoperiod. She still preformed very well. She developed good, dense, frosty, sweet smelling colas. I didn't have any real issues during this grow beside she went to flowering under a 20/4 light schedule. Everything went great and I will be back for the smoke report in a few months once she is processed. This experiment has taught me a great deal about all of these strains. I switched half way to NPK Raw and watched all the Harley Smith videos I could find. These strains all displayed differing deficiencies at different times. My 10L res PH, supporting 4 x 5g Buckets, plummets Daily failing from 6.5 to 5.3. Exclusivly H20 topups. Co-planting deficiency overall is that you can’t cater to anyone on a shared resivoir.
