Week 7 Update – Recovery and Growth 🌿 Sorry for the late update—I was completely out of commission the past few days 🤢, but luckily, my girlfriend stepped in and took care of the plants. The good news? The stretch is finally over! But note to self—never again 9L pots for plants this size! 😅 BioBizz#1 – BT23 Despite a “drain” pH of 7.8, she’s doing okay overall. However, this will be my last run with BioBizz. While I’ve managed the CalMag issue this time, Advanced Nutrients has completely won me over. AN#4 has thicker stems and looks more vigorous, and AN#3 bounced back quickly with AN nutrients. AN#4 – BT23 She’s praying to the light every day and is officially the largest and healthiest plant I’ve ever grown—no deficiencies so far! 😍 AN#3 – BT19 I had to defoliate heavily, but you can barely tell. Height is becoming a challenge, so I’m hoping it just barely fits—because it has to! 😅

day 64 buds are getting fatter and really moving taller. will take a while to finish no doubt.. lots of new calyx growth and pistils. i came to conclusion i was letting the plants get too dry before a top up.. trying to keep more moist. let the boost and rhizo get to work and keep the soil niiice. doubtful this notthern lights is gonna fade much.. after having cut a branch for a vase, afyer a week its still a dsrk mint green with no fade. compared to my bb which faded completly... looks super healthy if not a little too much nitrogen... not seeing too much N curl in buds which im happy about.

Beginning of the sixth week. The first trichomes have already begun to appear. Now it's waiting for the buds to get fat.

One of the plants had some nutrient burn so I tried to flush her with plain water. I dont give her nutrients till she is good. The problem is that she got it from a fertilized soil layer which I put on the bottom of the pot. Sooo hopefully she is recovering. I'm scared that the other plant has also enough nutrients so this week I dont feed her at all. Lets see how she does next week. Buds are doing well on plant 1. Plant 2 is a little bit behind.

The plant has been very delightful to grow up to this point with no issues the smell fruity blueberry skunk is very strong. And it looks like she needs two more weeks to finish I will keep a close eye on maturity amber colour . There buds start to show a purple color deep in the buds it is very beautiful to see. Semana 0 Del 3 al 9 de agosto Estamos en la semana 0 que va a ser la primera desde el cambio a 12h. Las temperaturas están siendo geniales y los LED ayudan bastante. Estamos en 26°C en ON y unos 24°C en OFF. Vimos que el último riego pudo ser demasiado potente y aprovechamos para hacer varias cosas. • La planta tiene 0 marcas de bichos, ni picaduras ni nada.. parece que los preventivos han funcionado bien, pero no bajamos la guardia. Espolvoreamos la capa de arriba del sustrato con tierra de diatomeas y humedecemos. Como el sustrato ya había bajado bastante, echamos una capa de sustrato ( monkey soil coco) y repetimos volvemos a espolvorear. • Realizamos riego con unos 2l casi. Usamos 0.16 Mammoth P + 1 calmax PH 6,2 EC: 0,4/0,6ms Th20: 23,5°C • Hoy soltamos todo el sistema LST. La idea es la siguiente: dejarle un día suelta descansando para que se estire un poco y luego colocarlas en su posición final. Parece que tiene forma de pino y cada rama esta cogiendo esa forma, por eso quiero estirar la un poco, para que tengan sitio. 5 de agosto Volvems a hacer el LST Pero esta vez con grapas de hierro, aprovechamos para dejar en posición. Mientras la entrenabamos quebrados el tallo central.. 6 de agosto Vemos que se posiciona mejor y aprovechamos para quitar algunas hojas y algún brote pequeño. Hoy a vuelto el calor pero aguantamos en unos 28,5°C de max. La humedad si he es alta, entorno al 70% 8 de agosto Hoy movemos un poco los brotes para que quede menos sombras. Aprovechamos para hacer un riego con 1,5l usando 5ml•l de Delta 9 PH 6,01 EC: 1,2ms Th20: 26,6°C El calor continúa y más o menos aguantamos las condiciones. 28°C y un 66% de humedad. Este riego de Delta 9 le sentará genial, se puede apreciar como siguen estirando los brotes de cada rama para coger su sitio de cara a florecer. Además la planta en general a engordado bastante en cuanto a tallo y ramas más fuertes. 9 de agosto Terminamos esta semana de perforación. Seguimos con el calor y la humedad, en ese sentido a sido un mal día. De temperatura rondamos los 28°C con una max de 30 y mínimas de 24,5°C (en OFF)*. La humedad a andado de 60/70%, esperamos que las condiciones mejoren cuando la flora sea mas avanzada. Hoy realizamos ultimo preventivo, unas 6h com el quemador de azufre para después de ventilar un rato hacer un foliar con 15ml spruzit + 2 aceite de neem + 2 un producto de prueba. Las sensaciones son tremendas y la verdad que nos lo estamos tomando con mucha ilusión porque esta quedando preciosa y respondiendo como un Jabato. El juego a empezado amigos, a partir de ahora empieza lo buenoo.

plants keep impressing me. cannalope is growing some 16 or 17 petals on a leaf after some weird reveg or stress. it flowered early for some reason. might be because of the bennies and the N abundance. after the weird 16 leafed freak is some good looking regular 13 petaled ones. its gonna be legit. maybe I should clone one of the 13 pedals to keep the pheno. the other colas have the regular 7 or 11 petals. the lemon skunk is flowering nice. I have a feeling its going to be some tasty bud. no mutations or anything weird going on with it. she is looking just fine.

Hi growmies, Somehow I must have missed to update this diary last, my apologies for that…. As the Afghan was dried, she could finally move into her forever home. I have made some modifications to the box, compared to the last run. The biggest change is of course that it’s housing now a 20l DWC system, build from two euro containers. I have further installed a little Computer fan below the canopy and will probably install another one above the canopy. Last but not least, I installed a ScrOG, build from an old Coca-Cola fridge, that someone disgarded somewhere. Lates see how it will go this time.

Decided after seeing the improvement in the Tangerine Dream to continue with the new feeding schedule, which will include a flush in a few days. She got pretty burnt from the salt based nutes, but her flowers have thickened up considerable over the last few days so I will try to get as much out of her as possible. NCH x SB trichomes are finally beginning to fill out with milk, and several sugar leaves have already gone 30% amber. One more week of flushing and I think I’ll chop her down. Feed pH 6.5, EC 0.9. Flush pH 6.2, EC 0.3.

Let’s go Day 36 !!! This week went real great, girls built up a lot of structure, and stayed super healthy ! Today they got fed just water phd at 6.5 ! They been really loving that balance! I also removed a lot of under trim since we are going into preflower , so had to shave up those legs lol ! It’s really great for them , the love that airflow , but don’t take off too much or you could shock your plants so be careful ! Can’t wait to see what these girls do this week ! This annoys me extremely, because the attachment room is very clean and neither shoes nor dirty clothes come in when you enter the room 😩. But since I had the problem in most cases years ago, I am very confident that I will get the problem under control very quickly 😃. Otherwise, everything is developing very well as usual 👌. Hello everyone! I promised to track this grow very closely this time and ufortunately life got in the way. Here is a quick sumup of the grow. First of all- One of the sour stomper plants unfortunately didn't make it. It died at about week 4. The main stem somehow had rubbed/broken down. That's why it was falling down. It was almost like a mini beaver had chewed it off at the point where the stem touches the riot rooter. At first I thought nothing much of it, maybe it hasn't been rooted in quite well yet or something. And I was constantly touiching it when watering, that made it worse. Soo the leaves were dropping and the plant looked very weak. Then I decided cut thr rapid rooters top layer and found out the severity of the problem. Tried to tape it up and other things, but it was too late. At the end it appeared all good as the remaing plants got so big the I had some space issue so I wouldn't have been able to fit another plant in anyway. At that time I finally made my self-draining saucers. I took me a while and a lot of effort, but finally they were ready and working well. I also installed the self watering system and flowering was starting. Pretty soon I started noticing weird leaf symtoms. Brown spots, different kind. Some plants had it more, some less. Sour Stomper looked pretty good throughout the grow. Mango smiles seemed sensitive and Strawberry Nuggs were pretty strong until the end. The grow was basically me experimenting with the setup- changing watering schedules , changing ppm, ph and all that stuff to keep the leaves looking healthy and it was very hard I have to admit. Probably my hardest grow in that regard. But somehow, the bud leaves remained healthy and the buds really fattened up good. I got away with an amzing 700G dry bud harvest which was def a new record from one grow. And the bud quality is very good too! Next time definetly no more than 4 plants as they got pretty big and I thought it was a little overcrowded. I was doing some good defoliation too. I should have defolited strawberry nugs more tho. Sour Stomper got some amazing bud development from top to bottom because it was was growing next to strawberry nuggets which were really small most of the grow. They actually took the most time to harvest even longer than Mango smile. Mango smiles were ready quite early. Sour Stomper was just in time! I topped sour stomper and both Mangoi smiles, left SNs both normal. Looking back at it, the way I grow them, Should have topped SNs too. Would probably have more space in the middle and longer side branches. Probably wouldn't have been as bushy! I followed the full Terra aquatica feed chart until the end. I was supplementing with CalMag a lot as I thought the symptoms could have been from a CalMag deficiency as this was my first grow with RO water. Overall a very challenging but good grow at the end. First time no mold problems. A record breaking yield for me. Basically surpassed the upper limit for all plant probable harvest sizes. Got good smelling quality bud. Very happy overall and will continue experimenting with Mephisto beans in the future for sure! I guess what I like the most about Mephisto is how close to description the plant is, very stable genes in that regard. Next time I will also have to start feeding plants higher PPM feed faster at the very start. and during flowering. But still not 100% sure what caused the leaf symptoms.

Week 5, now we are talking, she is stretching and the roots are growing at a really nice rate. Feeding is almost at the recommended max without her showing signs of overfeeding, I always increase and try to push the plant but you need to go slow, step by step and see how she reacts, always give her 48 hours to see how she copes with the new dose, If she looks healthy stick to dose for the week and increase the following. A good trick to see if you plant wants more of less fertilizer is reading the ppm and check when the res level is lower after 3 days or so, if the ppm rises but the water level doesn't go down quick she has to much feeding. If the PPM stay the same or drop with quick water intake means she takes it in very happy and maybe can take more. Will continue to rise the dose till we reach the recommended max of 2.5ml/l, might play with the ratio later on.
