Day 8 - Girls starting to come on now. Looks like their roots have settled and starting to see some pokies coming out of the bottom of the root pouches so hopefully start to see some good growth beginning soon. Get them ready for training and the likes. Not changed the water this week (really should have as temp has been up a bit...into the 25's in the tank but plenty of Great White in there and no roots in water yet but...) - topping up with plain water to keep the EC level and just pH adjusting. Last weeks solution was a bit hot for my liking but no burn signs so should be good for a couple more days yet. Got some iceline procured so been cleaning/flushing/sterilising the Hailea for getting it installed (That's when the water change will happen...likely to last weeks strength & recipe). Cant wait to get that in to get tank temps down (as roots will be in the water in about 5 days by the looks of things...tops!!! Also have the Torus Hydro pH Perfect Inline run through for a couple of days so it will be ready to go in to keep the pH good for me (A grow off and my pH skills are out the window!!! 😜). Just waiting on a Sicce Syncra 3.0 to pump the chiller and the pH Perfect (Bit overkill @ 2700LpH but looking something for the URDWC I am building for next year...thought the extra pressure would help with the inline pH adjuster too). Week 2 - the growth is very good and I can see a healthy root development at the bottom. I watered twice this week - a little dryback in the first weeks should be good to promote roots. DLI 20 / EC 1.2

They both had a three day germination period. This is the first time I’ve ordered seeds online. I was so impressed with the service that I received. The seeds germinated in a plastic container with paper towels in it, three days later I have seedlings. The Northern Lights are not as big as the Cookies at this stage but it still looks pretty good; I’m going to keep an eye on it since it’s still in the fragile stage of development.

Well, here is the harvest. I looked through a jeweler's magnifier, saw yellow trichomes and cut down the plants. 2 days trimmil, tired. Cool groove turned out. There were still small buds , did not weigh. And sugar trim - in the photo, with small small cones.

Week 3 update and all systems go for launch. We’re flipping to flower exactly 21 days from seed and so far, the mix looks to be impressive. Counting about 4 males (one that won’t make the cut), 2 indica leaning phenos and the rest are sativa leaning. Side branching has also been impressive so we should be able to pull some rootable cuts within the next week or two. If we got the sexes right (it is a little early to be certain), then the dutchy cabinet will be full up for bud testing👍. Next week will tell the tale🤟. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Germinadas directamente desde su eppendorf al medio de germinado en tupper mediano con agua desclorada desmineralizada a 20° al momento de rociar las servilletas. Puestos en oscuridad y con una manta térmica que va entre los 20 24°C. A las 32hs se observa que 3 de 4 abren su cascarón, a las 72hs ya estaban con radicula de 2cm +-. Puestas en jiffys de turba hidratados con 50%agua desclorada a 20°C y luego de exprimir el exceso de agua al jiffy fueron colocadas en un tupper propagador con ventilas muy pequeñas.

Se realizó poda apical y de bajos preparándola pra transplante final 14 - 20 julio
