Week 6 flower, half way there! Buds are starting to fill in now and getting some decent frost. A couple of tops are getting more light than others, and fattening a bit more and looking real nice. It looks like there is some purple starting to come out at the tops. Also spotted some discolouration on a few leaves closest to the light, so I turned the one light down to 60-75%, no need to push it at this point and burn her up! She will go as fast as the soil and environmental conditions will allow her to. Hand watered in Gaia Green Soluble Seaweed Extract 0-0-17, otherwise water drip is running on same schedule. Just using straight tap water that sits in a 30 gallon reservoir with a submergible water pump running 24/7 breaking surface and aerating water. Water comes out the tap @ 7ph and less than 15ppm. I wish I had better lights. These are cheap ts600 and par600 The last week i did major pruning of lower shaded popcorn buds, skinny stringy branches. Tied outter buds towards more lighting and have cut water and nutrients back. Ive found that if you let a plant get on the drier side. That it'll give you more frost, better flavor, and larger colas. This method comes from fine wine makers who force not so optimal conditions onto their vines. This in turn causes the plant to work harder and focused more on bud than growing new fan leaves. Cannabis plants biggest goal is to get a cola in to the air as high as it can in hopes to get a pollinating creatures attention. If you manipulate this you can force the plant to make better buds. Because theres a chance the plant senses danger because of the watering routine changing

I have to say, overall out of all 5 purple Lemonade seeds I’m not very happy with the results so far considering they was a little more pricey & the fact that I know how good these plants can turn out! Not sure if I just got some bad genetics or what’s up but pretty bummed about this run so far😅😅 hopefully things will start to look up! Grow diary 11 Stage 2 Days 11-20 The light schedule was altered to 19/5 on day 11 and the 6 inch distance was maintained until she went into the main tent. Lights on 7pm off 2pm Day 12 was the 1st time she was watered/fed since day 6 when it was soaked for transplant. After day 12 she was fed 300ml every day and the run off checked to make sure everything was in range. Day 17 she was topped after the 2nd set of nodes. I'm thinking of removing the lowest set of nodes in a few days and doing a small mainlining project, Day 18 she was moved into my new main tent (gorilla shorty gt225). The light is my mars hydro TS1000 set at 50% power 20 inch above the canopy. The wilma system is just hydroton/clay balls, and the feeds are on at 8pm for 15mins and on at 12.30pm for 15mins. Day 20 she seems to be adjusting to the topping and the transplant. I'm happy with how the last 9/10 days have gone, its still been mega hot and i have managed to battle the heat quite well so the plants haven't suffered. At the moment all 4 strains are at about the same point in growth. Temp Max 27.8c Avg 23.8c Min 19.4c Humid Max 69.5% Avg 55.7% Min 45.4% VPD Max 1.98 Avg 1.32 Min 0.71 Hope to be back in 10 days without hitting any problems.

Stretch is done and flowers are piling on now! I treated with lost coast as a preventative. I kept the feed the same but it will be altered end of grow week. Canopy is getting hella full can't wait to watch these colas stack on. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

Still a bit warm but temps av dropped loads last few days in my area thankfully.. Took alot of central n lower grow sites away this wk n just trying to open her up a bit b4 she stretches.. Flipped lights to true 12/12 today and will b planning a 70day flowering program (already 14days thru!).. Emptied out res and flushed top tray with 10ltr plain ph'd water @5.8 and 21°c so not to shock her roots.. Everything is going great :-) You can see every day how they continue to explode :-) Although we are still at the beginning of the vegi phase, the roots grow out on the first drain hose. I carefully pushed it back up into the system :-) As fast as it all goes, I think I'll switch to bloom next week. I wish you all a nice grow 😎
