This strain of Kings kush is a smelly one, I still can put my finger on the terp profile yet. Almost a kushy herby dank is all I can describe atm. Growing these plants, I would suggest pruning every second node once you get her into flower since the bugs tend to push up against each other and may cause bud rot. Say ontop of defoliation and try to qork on them on a daily basis rather than lolipoping. Another key thing is to keep rH in range during flower, I will recomend to set it to 40-50rh in flower. Also if you are growing outdoors, Be sure to cover them up during rain when in flowering, I uses a transparent tarp for the last 5 weeks of flower. Save my plants from 9 huge rain events during the last 5 weeks, my plants would of died from br. This strain had some decent cold resistance also! She stay alive with with few events of temps getting down to 4 deg c.

This week there was a small growth spurt, and new shoots are beginning to form. However, it's clear that the conditions are tough on the plants the fan leaves are very dry and brittle, even tearing in some spots. 😟 So far, none of the plants have revealed their gender. We're still waiting to see whether they'll turn out male or female. Patience is key at this stage fingers crossed for lots of girls! These ladies are in full flower and progressing like a dream. The colas on them are chunky to all get out. And to think they've barely begun the flower period is mind blowing to me. I'll go in this week and do a good cleaning taking out some of the crispy leafs on the under canopy. Over all though Happy Growing.

Hello everyone. Another week has come to an end, and for two weeks, we have been watering our girl with plain water pH 6.2 TDS 120 ppm. I think next week we will finish our journey. I want to experiment - 2-3 days without light and with reduced temperature. Share your opinion on my experiment.

Day 36 Done nothing just let them grow and trimmed a few leaves Day 37 - watered them with feeding. Decreased the amount by 25% except the base nutes. Added 12ml CalMag on 4L water by request of the community. If leaves curl down more, I will consider a flush. Day 38 No feed. Color changed from the middleone overnight, I think that’s a good sign. Maybe someone can comment on that 💪🏽. For me it looks very good, I know a few leaves show signs of nutrient burn but I decreased already and no new signs appeared Day 39 No feed until tomorrow. Day 40 Fed them with very low amount of fertilizer. I aimed for a ppm of 1000 but I went a bit higher until I have osmosis water . Runoff ppm was 2000, but I have to say I am measuring ppm since this week and will fix this problem Day 42 No feed

D29. We're now officially in flower! I can see the beginnings of tiny (purple?) hedgehogs. I adjusted LST wires, tucked some leaves, and for the first time, filled the bottom reservoir since the plant should be mature enough to start drinking from it. (7 liters @ pH 6.2.) ------------------------------ D31. The LST is progressing nicely, and she is slowly getting more expansive. Even the branch from the first node, which I thought was pointless, is doing great, and it looks like it will produce a nice top eventually. I have her one liter of SST @ pH 6.8 with fulvic and humic acid mixed in. DLI bumped up to 42. ------------------------------ D35. We're at the end of the first week of flower, and she is rocking along nicely in the tent. Adjusting LST wires and tucking leaves every day. DLI bumped up to 45. ------------------------------

For the last day of the year we treat ourselves to the story of a special little girl. Her name is Biscotti, her name already says it all about the potential of this young girl born in Holland with this beautiful Italian Strain Name, she is precious and full of style since conception. She looks like she was designed by Pininfarina who smokes joints. It's a bit as if Gianni Versace had dressed her, extravagant, provocative, truly flamboyant, if you have the patience to look at the thousand photos that I made clear that I literally couldn't stop taking. It's a journey I don't want to leave, especially when I'm in the middle of it. terpenes, please leave me there! She grew up quietly, with her small internodal distance you could see that she was beautiful even without flowers, but it was when she flowered that she truly gave her best. Already from the first weeks of flowering you can understand very very well that the girl has a bright color and she threw resin very early thanks to Power Buds, Sugar Royal and Green Sensation in my opinion. The flowers have an imposing shape, they really are beautiful little purple beasts just in the dry room, for a few days soon we will do an initial test and then we will wait to taste it without too much fresh taste. I’m about sure to have rated 10 stars the strain and all feeding 5 stars but i found the strain rated 9 stars and the feeding 4, not sure but almost sure. I often get sad when I cut it, I'm too sad to cut it, I always think I'll smoke it and everything, but it's so beautiful that it makes my heart ache to cut it. It's her life cycle, otherwise she would rot for goodness sake, it's a joke but I really have a moment of shock in her heart. She'll move on to the first vaporized one I guess. Technique used - She was worked with a. single topping cut but leaving the two branches lower than the cut, thus obtaining 4 main branches with the relative branches. I also did a bit of LST at the beginning but having space problems then I decided not to let it expand too much. Flowers are beautiful beasts for truly yummi. Fertilizers - We have to make a special mention of Plagron I wrote a review in this diary which only partially explains how good this line of fertilizers is. I feel like I saw with my own eyes the changes in the plants when I gave the additives, I really saw the plants push in resin and everything. For more information read the review, I don't like to be repetitive, I don't write the quantities, they are also in the diary and in any case very similar to those recommended by the manufacturer. Never exceed this with any fertilizer and always flush. Light and home - The light was provided by MarsHydro and the home as well, it is the SP 3000, a piece that is not of the latest generation but which I love for its length of around 110 cm which you can understand how it covers me super well, the 120 wide wide grow room cm, 60cm deep and 180cm high, always supplied by them with a better than average covering by a lot and fantastic windows from which to spy on the girls. I really love accessory holders that hang either inside or outside the growbox. top brand now leader. There are many photos like my passion for this wonderful plant, look at as many as you want but if you have the patience to get to the end there are various super crop terpenes, beautiful and big like Porcini Mushrooms. Today is the end of week 1 since the seed germinated. The timing is such that ill probably have to switch pots before next week. The next pot size is a 7 gallon. Any tips or input greatly appreciated! -

Day 51 - Really bushing out and getting wider. Some more hairs are visible, yet no real bud production yet. Roots are long and healthy looking. Still going strong with the same nutrient mixture. Day 53 - Topped up water today and had a casualty unfortunately. 😕 Day 56 - Switched lights to 12-12 to try and induce the flowering process on day 54. Today they are looking like they have more hairs coming along. Also topped up water again. Plants are still growing very fast. And getting bigger and bigger.

The week was good although I had to struggle still with the RH but things are looking good ( no mold or anything for now : / ) Buds are getting bigger and frostier everyday the genetics are really off the charts ! I gave them there last meal yesterday so the flushing begins next week and will last about 2 weeks . I'm starting week 7 tomorrow and I already can't wait to finally chop these beauties down : ) I've done some defoliation but very very light like 4 or 5 fan leaves to improve light penetration to the buds. Background Fingers crossed that these Spicy Bitch regs provide at least one male so that we can back build some stock of it. In the event that does take place we’ve got a single clone of each strain from the previous pollen chuck to sit in the tent with them so they can make babies for the next few months. The whole point of the last year was to start making some foundational genetics for a third generational cross we could call our own. If you’ve been following along than you’ll know that it’s been anything but easy. Our previous pollen picks didn’t pan out at all so we’re back to the drawing board with a new option from ExoticSeeds. This’ll be a 10 plant run with 5 regs and 6 strains for pollination including the strain itself. We’re running in a 2x4 MarsHydro grow tent all powered by a Mars Sp6500. That’s a little more than 600w packed into half the recommended footprint😳. Why? you ask - because we like our buds big and overcompensatory😂. Really, I’m just of the mind that we can pack more light into this space than recommended and get much better results. The math doesn’t lie. At least not as long as I wasn’t high when using the calculator again….. Many thanks to @MarsHydroLED for the opportunity to test run the equipment👊. In addition, we’ve also moved to a new nutrient system - Druid Nutrients out of the Netherlands. They don’t really have a presence on GD yet but you’ll be hearing about them very soon I’m sure. The beauty of this system is that it’s literally a 1 (one) component system for the entirety of the plants grow cycle. It really has changed the game in terms of ease of feeding and maintenance. It’s also very versatile and seems to provide everything needed across multiple different strains in the same ratios. Keep your eyes peeled for these folks. Pretty much a guarantee that they absolutely blow up once more people know about them👍👌😎. Strain Background Spicy Bitch: predominantly sativa, heavy yielder with a daytime kinda trip profile. It’s a cross of Queen Mother and a Pre-2000 AK47. We’ll pull what pollen we can and hope to have a female run out a larger supply of seed for the future. Boogie Nights - total shot in the dark. Still haven’t even tried the strain myself yet but it was available at the right time and interesting enough to make a salad with. Big thanks to AMS who’ve been nothing short of an excellent seedbank to collaborate with. Expect similar growth characteristics to that of the Northern Lights. Better resilience however. Blueberry - this particular clone is from extremely strong stock. Spliff seeds broke the mold with this strain. She’s lower maintenance than the NL, more resilient than anything else we’ve got on the menu and the terp. Profile on this girl is out of this world. If we can bring any of these qualities to the cross, then it could be magic👌. White Widow - garrghh, I just can’t get away from this particular plant. Again, still haven’t even tested the buds yet and all I can say is that the growth characteristics are extremely vigorous and desirable. This plant is one of 3 unicorns that I have yet to tame due to a combo of extremely bad luck and circumstance. All told, it’s still the same story: a VERY experimental breeding project designed to shotgun a broad swath of genetics against a reliable and dependable Breeder who’s put out proven fire 🔥🤟😎👍.
