Well, we already know she's a grower. Check the difference in the pictures, first ones are the beginning of the week and last ones end of the week. They're definitely comfortable, I can notice the roots taking over the soil and the leaves are branching out which is great to see. Next week they'll be transplanted to final 11L fabric pots. Plants with more direct UV showed much more purple across all 3 plants. The data shows that the number of terpenes in dried Cannabis flowers increases with a “No Red” light treatment for the final three days of production. Based upon these findings, we feel confident in recommending a spectrum control program that eliminates red light output from fixtures for the final 72 hours of the Cannabis flowering cycle. Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers. Sound waves at 1 kHz and 100 dB for 1 h within a distance of 0.20 m could significantly promote the division and cell wall fluidity of callus cells and also significantly enhance the activity of protective enzymes and endogenous hormones. Sound waves stimulation could increase the plant plasma-membrane H+-ATPase activity, the contents of soluble sugar, soluble protein, and amylase activity of callus. Moreover, sound waves could increase the content of RNA and the level of transcription. Stress-induced genes could switch on under sound stimulation. Sound waves at 0.1–1 kHz and SPL of (70±5) dB for 3 h from plant acoustic frequency technology (PAFT) generator within a distance ranged from 30 to 60 m every other day significantly increased the yield of sweet pepper, cucumber and tomato by 30.05, 37.1 and 13.2%, respectively. Furthermore, the yield of lettuce, spinach, cotton, rice, and wheat were increased by 19.6, 22.7, 11.4, 5.7, and 17.0%, respectively. Sound waves may also strengthen plant immune systems. It has been proved that spider mite, aphids, gray mold, late blight and virus disease of tomatoes in the greenhouses decreased by 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 11.0, and 8.0%, respectively, and the sheath blight of rice was reduced by 50%. Well it’s the beginning of week three of flower for my girls. They look and smell magnificent. They all have flowers and the pistoles are bright white. I need to defoliate them again I think. And I was advised I should remove all the lower flowers, all the ones hiding and not getting much light. Will it be ok to just let them grow and just keep removing the larger fan leaves that clog up light getting to the lower parts of the canopy? Regardless of stem size currently my branches each have 5 or more flowers on them. Will the returns from taking away those lower flowers be worth it to the tops ? Will trimming flowers off my girls at this stage in their life hurt them? I feel like I should let them be and just pull the leaves that clog up light dispersion. I need to feed them this week. I really think the girl a like the emerald harvest nutrients, I had followed their portion chart up till the slight burn then cut back on the scale a bit. Instead of feeding for six plant I’ve been feeding for four with the same amount of water. I’m very happy and excited for this grow, this has been quite the learning experience for me. I hope everyone’s grows are goin well and wish you all a great harvest.. Oct 19. Heavy defoliation and small flowers pulled from all of the girls. Hopefully they dont take it hard and recover well. I should be able to let them go and not worry too much about smaller flowers taking away from bigger ones now. My hands smell amazing. I hope these girls turn out best as they can now.

Time too flush this lady for two weeks if she allows All went fantastic and the green buzz nutrients range has performed , This lady will be coming down very soon , Really packed on weight and trics are 100% cloudy , just waiting for a few more amber's , I suspect she will be finnished within the next 7 days

Muy buenas, otra semana más por aquí, (bueno no hace tanto que subí la anterior semana😅) pero sí, su ultima semana; 😢😋 Tuvimos un problema a última hora, una Super OG Kush fue infectada por la araña roja, como se conoce comúnmente, pero que en realidad es un ácaro que se alimentan de plantas que se suelen encontrar en ambientes secos, en la zona que hábito (hemisferio norte), hubo muchos días de verano en plena primavera😓, debido a eso, llegó la plaga. Para el próximos cultivo de indoor, que será en septiembre, ya que en verano, si sistema de climatización, no se puede cultivar en óptimas condiciones. Esta Super Og Kush fue sacada del armario, y revisamos todas las plantas, por suerte la plaga, sólo atacó a esa planta. Y fue cosechada dos días antes que las demás, Dicho esto, muy contento con el resultado, agradecer a la familia de Kannabia y a Mills Nutrients, por haber colaborado conmigo. Pronto subiremos la review de cada una de las genéticas. Se realizó el trasplante a maceta de 5 lts que será la definitiva, ya que como se espigaron tanto necesitaba bajarlas de alguna manera para que no se vieran afectadas por el ventilador en su tallo. Seguimos ...

So my microscopic camera came on the weekend after checking the trichomes to my surprise i was advised to harvest asap due to have some amber already. they were receiving full nutes up until 4 days ago. since then I've been flushing. i was still receiving high runoff ec readings after 2 days of flush so have since put around 30 litres of water through each plant all now have ec of around 0.3/0.4. thinking of doing the same tomorrow to wash last of the nutes out then will put them into 48hrs of darkness before chopping unless anyone can advise me different?

August 23: Just finishing up about 36 hours of darkness, then I'm going to wash the buds, then hang them. Harvesting a bit early due to time constraints but it looks good. The smell is very dank, not a tropical skittles smell, much more like wood glue as I've seen mentioned in other reviews, although I'm starting to occasionally catch a sweeter tropical scent as well. I wanted to leave it a little longer. There were still a lot of white hairs when I started the dark period, but a lot of them seem to have developed into swollen calyxes so I'm pretty happy. I was a little worried they were making seed pods after last time, but I broke one open and all that was inside was red hairs. I'm going to keep an eye on the RH while they're drying and get them into jars and try to wait as long as possible before I start sampling. I can tell this is one of those batches that's going to get better and better if left alone for a couple months. Just did the wash, did 1.25 cups of 34% food grade H202 and a squeezed lemon in a 5 gal bucket. Another bucket of just water to rinse. Then I had a fan on it while hanging in the sunlight from a skylight in the bathroom for 30 min, then put the fan further back and on oscillate, then turned it down an hour later. Left it in there for a few hours, then hung it in the grow tent with everything removed except an oscillating fan, pointed away from the buds. I have the whole plant hanging in the middle of the tent and the tent is holding at 60% rh. Next run I'm going to do 2 buckets and only top once. I might leave them a bit longer in veg too to maximize the height in my grow space, and I'll get a proper 500w bulb instead of continuing to run 1000w bulbs at 50% to lower the heat a bit. The weather will be cooler and I'll only run one air stone in each bucket which should help with res temp. I'll probably foil-wrap the buckets again as well. I should be able to get another run done by the end of the year. I have a White Widow fem seed I've been waiting to use but I'm not sure what else I want to grow yet. Maybe Granddaddy Purp. I'll take some micro pics of the trichomes this week and start curing, and I'll post a proper review in a couple weeks. Happy growing everyone! August 24: I took it out of the tent to inspect. No mold or mildew. The middle of some buds are still pretty wet. I'll keep an eye on it. Wet weight on the stem is 158 grams/ 5.5oz. I harvested a couple branches last week and hung them up. I just ground up one of the buds, left it overnight and vaped some today. There was a bit of Chemdawg Tangerine in the grinder already but overall I got a lot of thick vapour, instant effects, and a really great tropical taste. I busted out the microscope camera and I realized I had a couple buds that fell off before I washed the plant in the H202, and a couple buds that came off in the washing process. It doesn't look like washing the buds took off any of the trichomes. I do seem to find less debris in the buds, not that there was much there before. The trichs look great. Just a light toasting of amber. The washed bud actually seems more dry than the unwashed bud. August 25: there's a real chlorophyll smell coming from the drying room today, it was much terpier yesterday. Leaves are getting crunchy, stems are still fully bendy. I ended up taking it down in the evening. The drying room rh dropped from 60% to 55% and the buds were starting to look too dry based on my last grow. I put it all in a paper bag for the night and I'll put it in jars tomorrow morning. Broken down most of the way it came out to 48-49 grams. From the bud structure, I definitely feel like it would have benefitted from more grow time if I didn't have to travel. More to come. August 26 - the edges of the buds are getting really crispy and the buds are getting tighter. I checked the paper bag earlier and it was 65-70%. I got the impression it was time to put it into jars. I'll keep the lids off for a bit.

Week 11 - The buds are stretching and getting bigger. She is huge did not expect that and I was not prepare which can cost me in yield/quality but will see.

Week 6 went well, I switched to flowering nutrients along with cal mag at an EC of 1.4, and I am slowly raising until I hit an EC of 1.6 within a few days. I did defoliate twice this week, just to improve airflow, and also because the lower fan leaves I removed were not receiving significant light. The runoff of the fertigate is not exceeding 1.5 EC so I am happy with that. I am hoping to keep a minimal amount of colas, and hopefully pull some denser buds than I got my first run. So far I am very pleased with my Mars Hydro Sp250, and especially these genetics from Sweet Seeds. Thanks for checking me out, and blaze on!

She is super frosty, super stinky, and she's done. I see plenty amber trichomes.

A few of the autos have mostly milky trichomes but no amber yet. Maybe another two weeks.

The week before I topped this baby’s and I’ve added some LST clips . Hasn’t started showing signs of preflower yet. What’s the longests it’s taken your autos to flower ? Just curious. Be back next week with another update . Happy Growing 🌱
