Day 78 - pheno 1 was cut down, id normally hang dry the whole plant but decided to do it in branches instead. Second pheno has been left in darkness as i haven't had the time to cut. Pheno one is hung up and drying.. Room Humidity 60/60. As soon as she's dry enough I'll finish trimming her up. Then put them into jars. Might use boveda 60% packs but I'll see. Smells strong! Other plant that was the same age turned out to be a male which its unfortunate because it was an accidental cross lol anyway she’s been growing vigourously ever since I made the switch..3 weeks almost complete and she’s a beast! This raspberry diesel smells like fruit punch so much just imagine the most fruit punch smelling drink you like and picture this plant smelling just like that the sour kosher has the sour diesel smell and the lemon chem 18 smells like lemon/sprite so much

Transition to flowering over the past week. Lights are now 12-12 and stretching has started. The one that i think is Green Gelato (#1) is stretching most, just like last time. The Gorilla has a slightly different leaf shape to last time. It was more indica style, but now looks hybrid. Both looking very healthy imo. #3 was overwatered. Gave it the same as the other two despite it being smaller, and this is what happens lol. There is damage on some of the leaves. it looks like a deficiency of something, but i reckon its from the fan as its only affected directly in front of the fan. Temps are much better with the QB, i hope i will get the same amount of bud as the 250W HPS!!

Girls have settled into summer camp nicely. Worries about not taking the transplant diminish more each day and I am gaining more confidence in strong roots with each passing day as well. I had to build a supplemental lighting system for the greenhouse. Here at home we are experiencing a wetter than usual summer so far and with that brings clouds. So I needed to do something. So I built a new greenhouse light. It cranks out some light. Currently at canopy I’m measuring around 600 PPFD. Plants are loving it. All three plants sexed and all are females. Didn’t think otherwise. So the formula 707 is performing better than expected. Water retention is crazy. Watered the plants on Sunday with a gallon each , today is Thursday and no water needed. Going to try and get to Sunday for a whole week between watering. *** update, added a short video from 7am this morning. Each plant was watered Sunday with 2 gallons of silica amended, 5 ml per gallon Emerald Harvest sturdy stalk. Now bring on those massive colas. Each plant is showing its own unique characteristics. The 91 Grapes is tall and massive. The Vanilla Fizz is a bush and I think will flower first. The Harvey Wallbanger has yet to produce a leaf that has more than five points, not one, seven point leaf yet. Started doing a little LST today and will try to do some each day to stay caught up on it and the trimming. Gave the pots a thorough soaking on Sunday and don’t anticipate having to water them again until Sunday. If I do have to water them again before then that means I have monster plants that are thirsty.

Day 64 - June 5 June 5 - 09.45AM Swelling continues, Pistils are beginning to shake, with some vibrant orange. The end is maybe 10 days away. Senescence continues with minor purple hue starting. Comparando la situazione generale con quella sotto il led (pressoché simile per genetica) qui siamo molto più indietro nonostante abbiano avuto qualche giorno in più di vegetazione. Ma per espansione del verde e altezza sembra di essere settimane indietro. Detto questo la struttura e comunque buona è molto simile alle altre, sicuramente saranno fenotipi selezionati, con internodi ben predisposti e non troppo distanziati. Still having major problems with fungus gnats and the populations have exploded! So I ended up doing a drench of hydrogen peroxide to kill all the eggs on contact that where in the top inch or so of the pots. Also on the pots that where worse I added sand to the top just as an extra precaution. I added my second and final layer of trellis. I mostly use the trellis for support and for spreading out the canopy and opening up the lower bud sites to the light. We can see the bud sites are starting to set and are looking pretty great for 2 weeks of flower!

Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Day 73, took another batch if clones three days after taking the 2nd batch so now I have 80 clones that will root in 11 to 14 days. The sun is hot again back to +30C° day temps, I was to lazy to take individual photos of my mother plants. I'll give the plants 10 days to recover from the stress from taking cuttings. Day 75, last day in the tent for my mother plants, tonight there going inside boxes for 3 day of darkness so that the plants forget the 18 hrs veg lighting to follow the sun. 2nd batch of clones to veg for a week before going outside to flower. Mothers in boxes they will come out on the 24th September

End of Week 8 (First week of flower) Increased the CO2 to 1200ppm and the ladies love it, already started stretching within the first 3 days of flower which shows that CO2 definitely boosts the grow cycle of cannabis. The main top-sites are popping up everywhere and everything looks evenly spread out. I defoliated again because the fan leaves are growing so fast and blocking bud sites. I also did one last lower canopy maintenance and removed small and stalky bud sites and stems below the trellis net to make sure I get maximum energy distribution to the main colas. I also added some GHF BioEnhancer to make sure the soil-microbes are happy and that the plants reach their maximum potential. Pest Report: EXTERMINATED! Thrips VS Ladybugs VS Neem Oil... I decided to fight fire with fire - I purchased Swirski-Mites from Koppert (They are beneficial insects that feed on the eggs and larvae of thrips and other unwanted pests). As for the adult thrips - I got very lucky and found about 10 Ladybugs in my garden and decided to introduce them into my grow room as they will feed on adult thrips and any other unwanted pests. Then to be extra sure I know that neem oil hinders the life cycle of pests like thrips causing them to stop colonising in my grow room. So I sprayed the ladies every day during the dark period to make sure there are no pests that I or the Ladybugs have missed. Mission accomplished. No more wilting and definitely no more thrips.
