9/6 - Looks like 6 of 6 germinated. They are now in the nursery. Going in the Organic direction with this grow. First time trying it but i like the fact that you can have a "living soil", reuse the soil, and a big thing thing for me is that you don't have to flush like you probably should if you use salt based synthetic nutrients. My 2 cents. 9/14 - progressing nicely. Installed a better light source for them.

Day 56-63 (Day 5F-12F) (Day 6) Water retention is still a big issue in this soil, even with the reduced amendments, loose compaction and added perlite. Pots just aren’t drying out fast enough and I still need to water in enough to reach the bottom. I wish I had some flood trays for this exact reason so I could bottom water instead. (Day 9) I’m going to try running 2 liters of water through each pot until I see a good amount of runoff on each plant. Maybe the nutrient content of the soil is just too high. If this doesn’t work, I got nothing. Plants are drooping like crazy but that’s not surprising as I just flooded them. I’m going to turn on the carbon filter to clear out the humidity a lot faster. Over the next few days I’m going to let the filter suck the life out of this tent until it’s bone dry. If I start seeing deficiencies arise from my minor flush, I will foliar feed some 1-1-1 kelp and some 3-0-0 calmag. I highly doubt I will see any deficiencies but it doesn’t hurt to plan ahead. (Day 11) Ladies responded well to that heavy watering which is a little surprising honestly. The pots are still soaked and super heavy but they seem to be happy. (Day 12) I’m really not seeing any well defined bud sites which is not a good sign at this point. I have never grown under HPS and have never flowered a true 10 week strain so it could just take a little longer in early flower. So far I’m unimpressed

Peyote slowed down a bit, Broke a couple mains like a tool while doing some Lst bending. But she is moving along again. White widow is kicking ass and just going nicely. Great flower development all over her.. Blacksugar small but still moving slow with that tight pinch in the lower trunk. But the ladies are healthy and happy so I’m happy. Gonna start germinating orange creamsicle soon to follow these up.

Why use cotton pads? You should use cotton pads because it is one of the fastest way to germinate seeds, it is also one of the more reliable way. This is a NOOB-FRIENDLY tenchnique, you have to respect some little and easy steps: -take one cotton pad, spray it 5 times with water; -dispose seeds in the sprayed cotton pad, remember to leave minimum 1cm of space between seeds, -take a new cotton pad, spray it 3 times with water, face it down and put it on the seeds of the first cotton pad; -now, spray the dry side 3 times. -put this/these "sandwich/es" in a sealed container of a sufficient size to store them, I use like a plastic tupperware (glass or plastic are equal) with about this size: 15x30.It contains about 8 "sandwitches". -store the container in a dark place with a temperature from 17°C and more. More light they see and colder is the place,slower will be the germination and lower will be the germination ratio. *(-If your seeds are old, not good stored and with a low germination ratio, I suggest you to use Seed Booster by Plagron. Old seeds and maybe stored in a very hot place for a long time may will be death may will not never germinate). Generally a normal cotton pad is good for 3 seeds. I tried all methods (except rockwool cube) and in the last two years (and I germinated a lot of seeds) I can tell that this is the faster and reliable way. I loved to use paper towel but with this metod is very easy to put too much water and it will be slow down the germination step. 08/16/2020 Just posting the picture of my seed to harvest plant on an 11-13 schedule. Will post pics of the others this evening. Pic #2 is 4days later. #2,#3,#4 are the other contestants I like #2 #2,#3,#4 are out side until? Light schedule is closer to flowering tent 11-13 schedule, I've noticed that they do not like any light irregularities and they will herm. So I recommend a equatorial light schedule that the breeder suggest.11-13.

MAGIC STRAIN This strain easy to grow and beautiful to look at. Nice colour, incredible taste, great smell. This strain takes well to LST. Made a few mistakes, but the bud came out great overall. Very pleased and will grow again.

Day 28: - Did some LST, not that spectacular since the branches are small and not growing fast enough. - Did some defoliation to make sure that my nodes get the light they need instead of getting shadowed from fan leafs. - It was time to add some Suger Royal into my feedings. They will probily preflower anytime soon and make their final stretch. Lets hope those branches will increase alot in size, but I don't expect them to be large since there is barely sun nor heat. Lets hope for the best, stick arround to find out! Until next week!
