Última semana de esta maravilla de la naturaleza, ha quedado limpia y con unos cogollos duros y llenos de resina.
Defoliacion para una mejor penetración de la luz en la parte baja de la planta.
Una semana de lavado de raiz a base de agua de manantial y al secadero.

Last week of flowering (72days from the light switch) Gonna cut soon when the dirt is dry. A quite late harvest. Many buds denser more, and stem can’t longer resist.

This was the squatest clone and grows thick heavy glowing marshmallow colas. Smells so sweet too soon to tell final taste.

Started off by setting up the growing environment and dialling everything in such as;
RO Water for the RDWC hydroponic system.
Water Heater being set at 20 degrees C.
Water chiller being set at 21 degrees C.
pH being set at 5.7/5.8
Room Temp and humidity 20/23 Degrees C / 60%/80%RH.
Instead of using rockwool cubes to place my seeds, I put them directly into the clay pebbles. I then used a DIY humidity dome to place over the seeds until they make an appearance.
I have been top feeding RO water every 6 hours.
Foil was used to cover the net pot to ensure no light leaks were going into the system. Highly important in DWC.
Will add some light nutrients once seeds are more established.

So she was chopped (wet trimmed) yesterday (F74) and is now hanging up to dry at 55% RH and temps between 15 and 18ºc.
I made fresh frozen dry ice hash today using a 160 micron bubble bag, a flat surface, 8kg of dry ice and a couple 5 gal buckets. I already have the weights for that, which far exceeded my expectations. Those figures I will post once she is dried and in 1 quart screw top glass jars.
People suppose dry ice hash is inferior quality vs bubble hash. I am not experienced enough to comment on that but must say it is extremely easy to make hash with dry ice, it took 40 mins to process 995g of trim which included sugar leaves, some stems and popcorn buds. I then pressed it into 3.5g briquettes for storage using a pollen press. As you can see from videos, this stuff is all blonde - and after already trying some today with some friends, it knocked our boots off!
Will be back in 5-7 days with harvest figures, smoke analysis and other details!

P.s I ticked defoliation this week - the only week I intentionally cut any leaves off for the entire grow 😉

This week is basically more LST my plant that split has repaired herself within four days and looking amazing and has the most growth out of the three Widows

So far so good. Not all that much to say this week. She is still going strong but a bit slower than a few others i have growing now. Continuing the LST trying to keep as many bud sites exposed to the light as possible.

Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩🌾 🧑🌾.🔥💨
As you can see these ladies are growing nicely.
They're both at the same height 59cm but one is wider than the other.
Quite nice so far. That's 12cm in one week same as the Royal Gorilla.
Evenly spread canopy, the one that had better shape from the start now has longer colas.
Both are stacking nodes nice and tight.
They have a nice green color to them but you can't really appreciate that in the pictures.
I'm still trying to get a hand of this new phone, I might just go back to the camera. 🤔
Starting to get a little shine to them, I think this strain will be the first in forming trichomes.
They give off a nice smell but I can't put my finger on it yet.
Feeding 1,5L each, every other day. Will be increasing as they ask for more.
How do they ask for more?
When feeding if the soil is drier than normal I give a 150-200ml increment of water.
I do that until they stop feeding so much then i just maintain that amount.
I start reducing if it takes longer to dry.
That works good for me. The old finger in the dirt trick. 👍
Nothing like knowing exactly what your ladies need first hand.

Week 3. This is where the fun begins. The smell is amazing.
The stretch is crazy and the stems are stiff like bamboo. There's no loss in terps. They're actually getting a lot stronger!!

10/31 - Harvested the short fattie (Halle Berry)..washed and hung to dry.
11/14 - Harvested the bushy one along with several other plants.
This is the second time I've grown this strain, and had pretty much the same results. Excellent weed, but not a lot of it. Neither plant gave me any trouble. The short fat one came in pretty heavy considering she had no lower branching at all. Both plants produced very greasy, very pungent bud, covered in trichomes. The bushier one had no training and produced more, but wasn't as fat. I pressed some of it for the rosin, and it's delish. Very terpy.👍
Dry weights:
A - 52g
B - 71g
Final thoughts:
Will probably grow it again because it's my wife's favorite flavor, but I'd refer to find a strain that produces the same flavors but much heavier yields.
Potency: 7/10
Yield:
5/10
Flavor: 8/10
Aroma: 9/10
Bag-appeal: 8/10
Bud Density: 7/10

Week 7 – Day 51 (BT27)
A quiet week for RedPure#4 – mostly just watering, observing, and removing an occasional leaf 🍃
The stretch seems to be coming to an end. Height is stable at 40 cm, and space is still manageable 😅
Her buds continue to swell and look very promising 🍇
However, the drain pH remains low at 5.7, which might explain some of the issues she’s showing.
After some digging, I suspect the combination of BioBizz soil and Advanced Nutrients is the cause.
BioBizz relies on microbes for pH buffering, unlike Plagron or Canna, which use dolomite lime.
On top of that, I’m feeding the microbes with Bud Candy – which likely lowers the pH even further 🔬
📌 Takeaway: If you're using Advanced Nutrients, a substrate like Plagron Growmix or Canna Terra might be more compatible.
With BioBizz, the pH in runoff stays constantly low despite using water with pH 6.6.
RedPure remains the most sensitive strain in the tent – but also one of the most aromatic 🌸💜

Week 4 was actually pretty smooth. she was showing nitrogen and potassium deficiencies because she was being terribly underfed and because i had weened her off the veg nutes WAY too soon. I found the dyna gro nutrient schedule and ive been following that. i will definitely be following the schedule much better next round as i wasnt actually aware they had a schedule out. Shes currently week 5 day 1 and shes already fat af and super trichomey.s he still got at least 2 weeks left. she might be ready by week 7 honestly tho who knows guess well see. Ive been giving her 1 gal each time of dechlorinated tap water just straight water. it has been phd to 6.6 ph. runoff tested at 6.3 ph. will probably flush one last time before continuing the bloom feed.

During my previous grow, I harvested and made some bubble hash. Afterward, I dropped the used, wet buds onto this coco, and it seems some seeds sprouted from the leftover material. I’m not even sure if they’re photoperiod or autoflower, but hey—let's roll with it!
Both my pH meter and PPM meter are broken. I have no idea why they keep breaking so often. They’re ADWA meters, and while you can replace the reading elements, the replacements cost half the price of a new meter. It’s frustrating, and I really don’t want to keep buying them every time I start a new grow

She's starting to chunk up a bit and sugar leaves are appearing! New growth is not showing the deficiency as some of the older leaves did which I'm very happy about! Thanks to the community for the helpful hints!
Took of some of fan leaves that were blocking light from the lower bud sites and a few lower ones that were blocking airflow/not getting any light. I also switched over to CaliMAGic.
