Week 6 flower. Not much to report with this one. Growing very slow, little buds, smell musky and not very nice but improving, very frosty and getting frostier. Watered in Gaia Green Soluble Seaweed Extract 0-0-17. Day 36 flower I turned off Blumat drip and will water with the watering wand from here on out. Just another potential runaway dripper so I eliminated the risk. I will just build another reliable system with a timer and use the Blumat outside. Thanks for the view! Have a great week!

In a beginner grower pickle... they may look good, and though it seems I may have done everything right through veg, I am almost near sure I messed something up between flower weeks 2-5. They're maturing, but not nearly as much as I thought they would. By now, I imagined they'd have thick bushy white pistils covering at least 6-8 inches of the top of each Cola. So many mysteries. Is it the node spacing? If so, should have flipped earlier. Is it due to nutrient issues (too many nutes? didn't feed as much base as H&G suggested? Too big of a swing while trying to lower medium EC and PH in medium? Too much pruning on the top? The only real variable is the Banana Kush. BK is in the far back left and obviously the most difficult to reach and maintain. Initially last week when I flushed, I wasn't able to flush as adequately as other plants nor have I been able to trim, maintain, or LST as much as other two plants. This is the only plant as of right now that does not give off a chemical/nutrient/ammonia smell when I touch the buds, but rather a nice sweet, Banana smell, and it's bushier than the Trainwrexk and G13 Is it because I didn't trim.as much and the buds are feeding off leaf and stem nutrients? Is it because there are fewer bud sites for the light to concentrate on, and thus yield bigger colas? Or is it because I continued to feed this plant has continued to have a high intake of nutrient despite my best efforts of flushing and maintaing? In any event, I could just be the most impatient person ever, and I hope to be pleasantly surprised in the next week or so, or it's puffy popcorn tops for me. Day 85 Update: G13 has a ton of fan leaves turning fast. Pretty sure it's a PH issue. Should I wait until they're dead to trim them off or get rid of every fan leaf that is affected more than 50 percent of the leaf? Something definitely is going on. Could be nutes, could be lights, could be the strains.. who the hell knows but I thought they'd be much bigger and gurthy by now. They still look good but man I wish they produced more...

We've made it to week 3! (10/12/20) I'm very happy with how the girls are going, they have definitely put in a HUGE amount of work over the past 7 days. Plants 3 & 8 are very similar(extremely fat leaves & extra bushy) Plants 1 & 5 are similar (smaller phenos reacting to nutes slightly differently) & Plants 2, 4, 6 & 7 seem to be a cross between the previously mentioned phenos(not too small and not too big/bushy & reacting to nutes fine) Feel free to compare Week 1, 2 & 3 to see the differences. Nutes are staying the same this week, although I will be spacing feedings out a little bit further(18 hours-ish), as well as feeding straight PH'd water once a fortnight. I am contemplating hooking my simple drip-to-waste irrigation system up, although the girls are pretty close to the medium still and the halos sit 5-10cm above the medium, meaning fan leaves would be drooping onto the wet halos, so I'll give it another week and see how they're doing :) Update 11/12/20 - day 22 The girls have beefed up quite a bit over the last 24 hours, I'm really looking forward to seeing a stretch soon :) No feeding today & will water plain ph'd water tomorrow. Update 12/12/20 - day 23 Gave the girls straight ph'd water today with little run off. Veg growth is really starting to boom now, looking forward to seeing where this grow goes! I'm gladly accepting any tips or tricks, as I'm still only a beginner to indoors. Update 13/12/20 - day 24 Girls are looking great today, not much to report. They didn't get a feed or watering today as the medium was still wet after a pure watering yesterday. Update 14/12/20 - day 25 There's been a big increase in growth over the past 24 hours. All the girls besides the 2 smaller phenos look 100% happy, the smaller ones have looked a little weird since day 1(Weird as in colour of the fan leaves look deficient of something, but I'm not sure what. The girls will be getting a full feeding today. There's still no signs of sex but they are feminised seeds. Update 15/12/20 - day 26 Girls are looking happy today. Temps are back to normal after a heat wave in my city(its only going to get hotter from here on out). No feeding/watering today, pots are heavy/wet enough. Started using iphone for photos now, my only lens for my DSLR is useless for most grow related photos. I will upgrade my lens before next grow. I received my new silenced fan today! I couldnt be any happier :) It is a silenced Sigilventus SE-A150J, which I have set-up with a brand new Can-lite carbon filter. I went from a rocket loud eBay fan to a completely silent inline EC fan :D I hope the girls like the silence! Update 16/12/20 - day 27 The girls are continuing to boom! and I'm over the moon about it :D I gave them a full feeding today. I have seen white pistils coming out of calyx's on most of the girls, so i'm hoping they start to flower soon. I'm having weird issues with my humidity, it seems to be fine at 40-50% for 70% of the day, but the remaing 30% of the day it goes up to 60-65%. Temps stay the same in the 5x5 tent, I have ducted air-con in the house which is on most of the day. Thanks for viewing! :)

8/22/2021 - Did some mid-flower defoliation to increase airflow and to prevent mold and mildew. - Split the top right main from trying to train her down and spread out the canopy, supporting with tape and twist ties. 8/23/2021 - Top right main is still vigorous after split.

Day 71. Biggest by size, but maybe not by overall weight of harvest ;)))) she is most hungry and lost foliage... This girl definetly makes me regret, that i didn't use any nutes ... Smell is weakish, worst from all 3 . Mars TS1000 did a great job to her during veg, but now she spends time under my quantum board. Took most damaged leaves away. 3.5 liters of water goes in. Day 76. 3.5 liters in. Lower part is far from maturity, she needs like 3 weeks still i think. Getting some funky colours ... Happy Growing !!!

June 14: going good but weather is cool and rainy. Layed a loose Scrog net to keep the fan leaves from shading the growth tips. June 15: weekly foliar spray of Extreme Blend this morning. Looking good with one week to go to the solstice. Big veg growth coming over the next couple weeks with the extended sunlight hours. June 18: rain day. June 20: happy summer solstice. Tropicana Cookies was started a bit late but she’s doing fine. With the long sunlight hours at this time of year she’ll now head into the rapid vegetative growth phase that is so much fun. Expect over an inch per day soon as long as the weather stays warm enough. High of only 16 C tomorrow is a bit cool.

looks like its getting full in the tent... dont mind the clones that I have in there. thats going to be for the out door run once the weather gets warmer outside. other than that. All good on the Homefront with this grow. fixed the issues with tarp teas and other nutrients.

Welcome to the Smoking Tiki's hut! For this grow, I'm using some of the seeds I won at the Summer Buds contest from last year. I kept the seeds in my fridge door during one year. It worked very well because all the seeds successfully germinated after 48h! 😎 I used 3x3 seeds. I selected 2x3 seeds with the bigger root to put them in some pots. I will let them grow a bit and then select the 3 best plants to make it until the harvest. It's the first time I grow some Fast Buds under a light and in a controlled environement, I'm really curious to see how it turns out! Another week for the sweet seeds ladies to settle in and continue their recovery RED HOT COOKIE is looking a little worse for wear this week. I have explored the tank to see if that is an issue but all is as should be. I will retreat the root rot with some more silver bullet roots to bring the res back to sterile. Shebhas curled down claws which suggests too much N maybe?. I am assuming the root damage is a part of the issue too. I am frustrated to have lowed such a stupid error with the res heat and rotbbut thankfully the sweet seeds genetics are strong in the 2 in the tank and they are fighting now. SWEET AFGHANI DELICIOUS has had a better week with some vertical growth and plenty of recovering chlorophyll. She is still quite hardy stemmed and I would not attempt to do any bending at all. She will be allowed to grow out as she wants along with thebother ones in that tank. AMNESIA HAZE is a whole different game . Shebhas beena dream to work with and I could not advise growing this strain enough. Ideal for a new grower who needs a resilient and constant growing plant to learn with. I am in love.lol I have spent the last few weeks flattening her out and using the width I have now to keep her more lateral. She is around 3ft across now with so much planned growth to work with when I flip her. Inam hoping to make her a beastly girl to smash my personal best for a single plant. Her stems are nice and thick with a really nice Quad formed. She will be a lady to behold in full flower. Well done Sweet seeds.
