Welcome back to growfessor theatre! Week 4F begins in the 4x4. Heavy defoliation performed on the Mandarin dreams and Do-si-dos, Green Crack and LSD got a light defoliation. LSD had the most yellowing, she seems to be the hungriest for nutrients. Not much else to report, the ladies are happy, healthy and bud is developing nicely! First medical marijuana grow ever. I have gardened most of my life but marijuana is a whole different animal. I have organic bone and blood meal and tomato fertilizer (npk 4-3-8) that I was planning on using but my grow tent kit came with BioBizz Indoor Try Pack with Grow, Bloom and Top Max fertilizers. I think I may use my fertilizer on one and BioBizz on another to see which works best. Wish me luck!

The Sativa effect comes hand-in-hand with a mix of lemony, piney, and woody terpenes that translate into that classic aroma every stoner loves. ╰⊰´🌿 ╰⊰´🌿 ╰⊰´🌿 ╰⊰´🌿 ╰⊰´🌿 ╰⊰´🌿 ╰⊰´🌿 Compost Tea 3 Gallons Dechlorinated H20 3 Cups Malibu Compost 2T Molasses 2 T Alfalfa Meal (DTE) 2 T Kelp Meal (DTE) 1 T Bat Guano (DTE) 1 teaspoon Rootwise Bio Elixir 1)- I used a small paint strainer to hold my composts, placing an air stone right in the bag and zip-tie it nice and tight - this allows air bubbles to really agitate the micro matter off of the compost and into your tea 2)- I like to mix in the molasses (microbe food) and start my main air stone, the dry amendments and Rootwise can be just measured in the bubbles 3) - Keep the temp of the water warm to 75F/85F - too cool and the microbes reproduce too slowly and too hot will kill them. I do not delete my teas and let the plant pots dry out slightly before feeding.

2/10 No feed tonight just water ph'd at 6.2 2/12 gave them a trim yesterday to open them up. Feeding tonight pots are feeling light. I will lst Blueberry muffin either tonight or tomorrow.

This week sees the start of Flowering. This should be week 4 but I lost pics of seedling stage. I changed my mind and decided to defoliate and allow more light penetration. I also took off the lower stems that had not yet reached out to the light. I am hoping the energy of the plant will be focussed upwards. My lights are sitting around 550-600 Ppfd and will sit around that mark until the end of vertical growth. DLI is around 25-30 on 19 hours of light. VPD is in the zone with temp of 23C and humidity of 47%. The HiparGero 800W LED is an excellent fixture for the price and the optic 1XL is a nice new addition. She has a sweet cookies and pine smell. Very frosty and should be a very calming smoke. I didn't have any major issues during the grow. FBT2403 has grown really well. She is super frosty and sticky. I switched her to ph water 2 days ago. I will be harvesting her in the next update. Everything has gone fairly well for the grow. She has a really nice profile. She should be pretty potent upon finish. great strain, it has an awesome scent and taste, average yield but really great buds! it was a pleasure to grow it, i harvested a bit early but due to bad weather and high RH i had to harvest

Things are looking good. I'm in a bit of a time crunch so I think I'm going to harvest early. Sometime this week probably, just shy of 8 weeks. Cool strain to grow. Very interesting calyx formations at the crowns. I dried a couple small buds and threw them in my vape a few days later and the terpenes seem great. Can't wait to see how it tastes fully cured. I'm going to wash and decarb the buds before curing them, and I've never done that before, so I'll post that here too. Thanks to everyone who read and commented! Happy growing!

Germination 20 September 2023 Heya 🤙👍🤙🌱🌱🌱 In the heart of a humble garden, a miraculous journey is about to unfold. Beneath the soil's dark, nurturing embrace, a seed lies dormant, awaiting the precise moment to burst forth into life. It is a marvel of nature, a tiny capsule of potential, encoded with the blueprints of the plant it aspires to become. As the heavens open, raindrops penetrate the earth, quenching the thirst of the soil and signaling to the seed that its time has come. The seed absorbs this life-giving moisture, swelling as it takes in water. It's as if the seed is awakening from a long slumber, stretching its embryonic limbs for the very first time. Within this subterranean realm, the seed's outer coat softens, and a tiny rootlet begins to emerge. This is the radicle, the seed's first root, and it instinctively knows to journey downward, anchoring itself into the soil. It is the plant's lifeline, seeking out water and nutrients essential for growth. Simultaneously, a delicate shoot, known as the plumule, makes its way upwards, drawn by an invisible force towards the sky. It is a daring expedition, fraught with obstacles, as it navigates through the soil. Yet, guided by an innate sense of direction, it perseveres. Finally, breaking through the soil's surface, the shoot unfurls its first leaves, miniature versions of what they will one day become. These are the cotyledons, a pair of leaves that have been stored within the seed, packed with nutrients to sustain the young plant in its earliest days. Added a top layer of soil with added nutes so that only needed to water normally and let the top mix do the work down below. Will mix in more compost tea every other day and towards the end of the week, hit it with my normal organic nutes mix. The plant is looking healthy and continues to flower out and each cola is starting to thicken nicely. I have a few leaves here and there showing some discoloration so will watch closely to ensure I don’t have a light or nute issue. Will move the light intensity to 80% on the LED panels after this next week and as long as the leaves still look good. The grow room is fairly warm (80F) and rH is high (75 – 80rH) but my CO2 levels are fairly high as well so the plants should be fine. Running 2 x HO Solarcure UVBs for 2 hours about an hour after the LED lights turn on at the beginning of the 12 hour set and for 2 hours about an hour before the LEDs turn off at the end of the set.
