So the Northern Lights free seed from RQS ended up out living all 3 of the Dosidos’ “USA Premium” seeds that all died within the first week of sprouting, hopefully an explanation will be found for this as I have not been able to come to any conclusion as to what happened. Greetings my dear Jungletamers, So a major surprise came when @MarsHydroLED contacted us and asked if would like to try out their new SP 3000 light. Being a fan of Mars Hydro for years, we of course accepted their offer. We are totally in love with this light. I was when I saw it in another grower's setup and was in awe of its output and results. So with much pride and thankfulness for the presents the Universe bestowed on us, in the form of MarsHydroLEDS offer and the bountiful harvest of the last grow, (which I am thoroughly enjoying btw, such a great weed to have grown ourselves) we start out on a new adventure that we can't wait to share with you. With many lessons learned from the previous grow, a mighty producing strain in the form of Expert Seeds Gorilla Glue #4, a.k.a Expert Gorilla's and a tweaked super soil mixture, we are setting out to hopefully get over a gram per watt, preferably 1.5. The Setup A 4.5 (140 cm) x 2(70) x 6.2 (200) grow tent, giving me a .98 m2 workspace. This space is customized to my needs. A standing fan will provide airflow through the whole grow, a top fan will help guide cooler air past my lights onto the grow. 3 56 ltr pots will be the home for the plants when they are 2 weeks old, up to then in smaller jars. The Light The leading role and star of the show will be played by the Mars Hydro SP-3000, so kindly provided by MarsHydroLED, which we will test and review here and I might say, endorse. Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. The plats are not been trained, defoliated or anything, grown naturally. I’m blown away how fast this plants are growing. First time outdoors and the experience is very nice, I love the fact it requires little to no effort, in the setup I have chosen. As it is raining a lot, I’m using only a dry amendment I have built to use on them periodically, this way I’m not adding more liquids to the root system that is already highly saturated, essentially I’m using the following recipe update, I don’t know if it is correct but I live it all mixed. Use about a table spoon and a half every 15 days. - Azomite 500g - Natural fosfate 500g - Biochar 1kg - Bokashi 1kg -Kelp meal 500g -Mamona meal 1kg -chicken meal 1kg -Potassium silicate 500g -Gypsum farm 500g -Diatomaceous earth 500g -Bunny guano 300g -Bat guano 1kg -Oyster shell powder 1kg -Cow blood meal 1kg -Cow bones powder meal 1kg. -Wormcastings, spare use not in the mix. The plants are showing good coloring, no fade and no deficiencies, the green is not to deep, nor too light. As the leafs are taking a lot of water and strong sun and wind, the leafs are feeling a bit. As the wind is high since day 1 the stems are very resistant, strong. The Fastberry Is on the smaller size if compared to the other plants, together with the Banana purple punch, then we have the Bluedream and the CBD crack on the larger sizes thriving a lot, I expect to approach the end of flowed in a few weeks, the girls are very fast indeed. I’m looking forward to collect the fruits :)

These girls are doing real well. Earlier in the week I found a few nut sacks on the far right plant I pulled them off as I found them. If anything, the right plant will be slightly seeded. But the other girls show no signs of slowing down. The left plant has a good smell going on already.

The beginning of flushing

Hey Grow Diaries fam, Welcome back to another update on our PCR adventure! We're at Week 9, which marks Week 4 of the flowering stage, and things are getting exciting! Overview The PCRs are flourishing, and the transformation is nothing short of spectacular. The tent is buzzing with energy, and every day brings new developments. The buds are swelling beautifully, and the trichome production is off the charts. This week has been all about maintaining optimal conditions and ensuring our ladies get everything they need to reach their full potential. Environment and Conditions Tent: 3x3, cleaned and prepped from top to bottom to ensure a pristine environment. Lighting: ViparSpectra P2000, delivering a perfect spectrum for this stage of growth. The balanced PAR output and efficient energy use keep our girls happy and thriving. Watering: TDS at 410, pH 5.8, and water temperature at 21°C. This ensures the nutrients are perfectly balanced and readily available. Nutrient Regimen We’ve kept up with our Aptus Holland feeding schedule, and it's paying off big time. Here's the current mix: Nutritional Spray: Aptus Holland NutriSpray to keep those leaves lush and healthy. TopBooster: Replaced StartBooster with TopBooster to promote flower development. P-Boost: Added to the mix for that extra phosphorus kick, crucial for blooming. K-Boost: a must for them to go fat as we like. The results speak for themselves – lush green foliage and robust bud formation. Defoliation At the end of this week, we performed a mass defoliation. It's always a bit nerve-wracking, but the results are worth it. Removing excess leaves ensures better light penetration and airflow, reducing the risk of mold and pests. Plus, it allows the plant to focus its energy on bud production. And let me tell you, after the defoliation, the PCRs look sexy as ever with their long legs and sculpted structure! Clones Update Our clones are thriving, showing the longest and whitest roots I've ever seen. We treated them with a water mix that included K-Boost and Mycor Mix at 1 gram per liter. This combination has worked wonders, promoting vigorous root development and overall plant health. Reflections This week has been a testament to the importance of a clean environment and precise nutrient management. The PCRs are responding exceptionally well, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with their progress. We're well on our way to an incredible harvest, and I can't wait to see these beauties in full bloom. A week full of surprises, some good, some bad. For the Pineapple, Skunk, and little Gorilla, a whole week of flushing to prepare them for two days of darkness, and then they will be harvested. I started flushing the Cheese at the end of the week, and the Bubblegum continues with nutrients for now. Cheese and Bubblegum are now tied together and continue to bend under the weight of the flowers. Unfortunately, the Skunk's head almost broke, but I managed to recover it. Not long to go now!

Day 8 - Tuesday 23/10,18 , I have added the nutrients into the Reservoir , she is making roots like you wouldn’t believe , over a foot long and branches , I will post a pic later , as I want the light off , talking of lights , the cycle is now 20/4 that’s 20 hrs of sun to 4 hrs of darkness , colour is good , leaves are quite fat . KEEP AN EYE ON PH AND EC DAILY !!! Lux @ 15,000 EC = +0.7 or 350 ppm Ph = 6.3 Day 9 - Wednesday , I checked the ph and a EC this morning , both were fine , put in about 50 ml of water , leaves getting fatter , roots are getting more dense and intricate Day 10 - Thursday , I tested the ph and EC , all was good, took a root shot for you Day 11 - Friday , tested ph and EC , all good , water level ok , ive noticed that it has actually turned around, can you see that? the leaves have turned..... from 10 to 4 to 6 oclock...!!! or am i losing it? lol..... Day 12 - Saturday , tested EC and ph , no water needed or nutes, leaves are green and getting bigger , look how compact the plants are , there is no stretching ,I have put more pebbles in to stop light leaks to the roots . Day 13 - Sunday - Checked EC and ph nothing needed Day 14 - Monday - Checked EC and ph , nothing needed , water level ok IMPORTANT 👁️ To prolong the lives of EC tester and ph tester ( digital ones ) ALWAYS WASH THEM OFF WITH CLEAN WATER AFTER EACH TEST 💯 you need to check the roots , in these pots if there is 2 in a system , they will become entangled and matted if you don’t lift them , EVERYDAY . Please note the pots are 14 cm in diameter

For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. AC Infinity does not extend the warranty to the replacement parts. I guess that makes sense since they would be in a state of perpetual free replacements. I bought a new one from Amazon that came with a new controller which is different from the controller 69 currently using. I decided that while it is very inconvenient and inefficient to monitor the tent through the day, I would rather finish this Frostbanger run without introducing a new unknown variable. I will continue using 3 circulating fans, the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. They are living up to the new strain’s name. #5 is the frostiest followed by #2. Wow week 3 of flower and that much frost already. Before FastBuds announced the strain name and characteristics, I was disappointed that FBA2502 could be an indica sleepy strain but the universe provides what you need at the time. Hello, This week has been relatively calm, there has not been a big change before I do a watering with fertilizer every other time and I noticed that the new leaves at the top with the tips a little burnt so I will reduce the quantities of fertilizer instead of watering once in two I will water once in three with fertilizer. This week there was watering again. Temperatures range from 30° during the day to 19° at night. Next week there will be more photos. see you soon

Still stretching out them girls are , hope they are almost done 😬.. I think the stretch is pretty well done and my 4x4 tent is full of bud sites wow this is gonna be a great finish I think🤘👌 I took my hps of the hangers and attached it directly to the top of the tent for more room . I have the cool tube hps.with lots of air flow so it doesn't get very hot.
