Hey ihr Lieben! Nach 10 Tagen Trocknung habe ich das Curing begonnen. Die Äste haben geknackt und mir signalisiert, dass sie bereit sind. Nach 5h Handarbeit war ich dann fertig. Mega anstrengend :P! Aber hat sich sehr gelohnt :). Trotz das ich dieses Mal anstatt mit mineralischem Dünger mit einem ein Komponenten-Dünger gedüngt habe (Hesi Bio-Bloom), habe ich sogar mehr herausbekommen... Bin sehr zufrieden :). Nach dem Curing habe ich das Material in die Terplocbags gepackt und lasse sie nun dort schön fermentieren - das hat letztes Mal sehr gut geklappt und kann ich nur empfehlen. Danke an alle die mich bei meinem 2ten Run begleitet haben, ihr seid die Besten! Mir hat es auch mega Spaß gemacht und ich freue mich schon darauf, meinen 3ten Run mit euch zu teilen - mehr Infos dazu kommen bald.

Week 6 of 12/1

------------------------ HARVEST 1: ------------------------ Harvested this girl because she stopped eating and was drinking less water, and the weird flowers, so she was finishing, and im looking for something psycoactive, so the trichs are cloudy too... I expected less flowers, but there are some material behind leaves. The smoke is really nice flavored, and it hits you with psychoactivity. Despite the production and weird buds it is really tasty and gets you in a really nice sativa mood. The flavor would be like: An apple with Gasoline touches (i suppose its because of the Sour Diesel heritage) 15 gr. ------------------------ HARVEST 2: ------------------------ This plant was harvested in the optimal point to me, with cloudy trichs and a nice production. She really added weigth in the last weeks. The smell is really like the original Lemon, has deep citrous notes. Taste is very good, more powerful than the smell(Will complete this in a couple months when properly cured in jars). I like the psychoactivity, its a nice day smoke, and a tasty one. Overall a very good plant, i love the therpene profile (citrous/fruity), it is so refreshing when you smell the citrous flavour. 90 gr.

I accidentally gave the babies a drink mixed with a shot of dehumidifier chemicals. I mean, there’s stiff learning curves being a first time grower but that is just thick as pig shit territory. It only dawned on me the next day and I rapidly flushed. Think the orange bud is looking a little healthier, but they are both hanging in there. Chemicalicious.

Another great week for the Apple Betty girls. I have not seen a single deficiency, other than the odd yellowed or withered leaf under the canopy, typically due to lack of light. I will come through soon and do a defoliation of both tents to allow for more light to penetrate, and perhaps get a good push for some girthy colas 😋. I have lowered the temps a bit in the tents by controlling my lung room temps, and they are maxing out at 77 degrees and hitting a night time cool of about 70. I have also lowered the humidity to hover between 47 and 52 %. Hopefully will start to get some nice colours as they finish. As I mentioned before, when I water is when I like to get under the canopy and check the stems and leaves for anything that shouldn’t be… and typically once a week after watering I’ll wipe down the tent and sanitize any surface I can. There is no reason to get lazy, that’s how you get Pests, Mold, and PM. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

Week 4 was actually pretty smooth. she was showing nitrogen and potassium deficiencies because she was being terribly underfed and because i had weened her off the veg nutes WAY too soon. I found the dyna gro nutrient schedule and ive been following that. i will definitely be following the schedule much better next round as i wasnt actually aware they had a schedule out. Shes currently week 5 day 1 and shes already fat af and super trichomey.s he still got at least 2 weeks left. she might be ready by week 7 honestly tho who knows guess well see. Ive been giving her 1 gal each time of dechlorinated tap water just straight water. it has been phd to 6.6 ph. runoff tested at 6.3 ph. will probably flush one last time before continuing the bloom feed.

Wow this week was nerve-wracking. Her roots were well into the toilet part of the pot so it was time to remove all the soil and manipulate the roots for exposure later during the big reveal. Fingers crossed the makes it. Her being an auto it will stress her into flower but that's okay it's a cannabonsai they are supposed to be small. She still has a couple weeks of growth still so it will be just fine. The other plants in the shed are getting flipped to flower this weekend she I've put her in the tent with her sisters. Sorry about the blurple but hey.....it is what it is right?

Okay so I’ve been slacking a bit on the grow-diaries, only because I’ve had a lot going on and also because I don’t feel obligated to do so because this isn’t a sponsored grow. It’s been nice to have a little break but I think I’m ready to come back at it full force again. These girls are living their best lives, they are all the same age and they are all thriving. Floraflex nutrients, as well as some Silica, Regina-root, and a trichome enhancer called “Grease”!! Seems like the real deal. Watering every other day and let me tell you these girls are very thirsty. Defol as needed! My new HLG Blackbird lamp fixture is out of this world. My 3 autos that you can also find in my profile absolutely blew up. I typically fit 4 autos in my 3x3 but now it’s essentially one Purple punch from Fastbuds and I had to cram 2 more inside basically because they are going crazy. Unfortunately I had to move them from under the blackbird and put them under a HLG350R and they are still going crazy. Basically what I’m saying is HLG Lamps=Crazy growth and amazing lamps!! Hello All. I took a lot of pictures. Hope you don't mine, but I had fun. I think everyone likes to see large harvest pictures. It all started back in early January when I took clones of my favorite plants. It was a cold winter here this year, for these parts. So it was mid March when I got the plants out in the greenhouse. The spring was damp and cold too. I found powdery mildew in the garden about 2 weeks before I found it in the greenhouse. I got it on the Skunkberry and the Burmberry, But not on either Amnesia Lemon or the Sister Amnesia Lemon. I was very pleased about that :) I found some spider mites in the last week and a half. I decided to turn up the fans instead of spray. Yes they still spread but very slowly when they can't spin their webs. I didn't find many when I harvested. Everything else went well this season. I found a male Dr. Atomic Northern Lights that I liked. So I'll try to make some seeds with the Amnesia Lemon, Skunkberry and the Burmberry. I'm trying to fatten up the Burmberry. I'm interested to see if the Amnesia Lemon gets fatter buds and carries the P.M. resistance to the seeds, I'm hoping. The tall Sister Amnesia lemon in the middle did cause a drop of production from the plants on either side of it. They were in more shade. Something to work on for next year :) The Skunkberry had the most P.M. I used a new produce that I'm pleased with, it's White Wash frequency altered water. Knocks the P.M. right out. I found that if you put a large tray under where you are spraying you can catch the run off. I could use it a couple of times with no change in effectiveness. It must be the Scottish in me. I try to reuse or recycle as much as possible. Cuts costs, and help make me feel like I'm doing good and helping the planet. My feeding schedule was: I had a 15 gallon half barrel and pump with hoses and nozzles. I filled the barrel with nutrient solution and watered by minuets, 15 for clod days and 25 or 30 minuets on hot days. After 3 or4 days I added water when the solution got low. Mixed new solution once a week, and cleaned the barrel and pump. I also took the hose in the greenhouse and soaked them till run off once a week and measured the ph. I saw a few fungus gnats, but the spiders and nematodes (from my compost I added when I mixed soil) sure help to keep the numbers down. I like to put my buds in a paper bag to dry and cure. Inside I hang the buds for 3 days before putting the buds in paper bags. But it was so hot in the green house that 2 days was more that enough before putting the buds in the paper bags. The bags sat in the greenhouse for 3 days and then went in to the basement to finish. The old hippies told me that they use to put their buds to cure in the middle of a bushel of straw. I seems that the drying buds gives off a gas, that when trapped around the buds helps to take away the bitterness and raunchiness' of the uncured buds. The bags also help in wicking away the moisture of the drying buds, just like the straw did. After a week I check to see if it is dry enough. If the buds are dense the bag might need to be rehung for a few days to finish. I prefer a dryer bud. I like to hear a light crunch when I put a bud in my pipe. In Conclusion: This was my best grow ever! Big thanks to Barneys farm, for great seeds. I've got LSD started and I will try that in the greenhouse next year, 5/5 for mold and pest resistance. I'm very happy with the results. I was concerned because I have 2 rental houses behind me and one of them had a big backyard party at my week 5 of flowering. You could smell the grow by then and I was hoping I wasn't going to get ripped off. I looked through the fence a few days later and saw about 12 large plant pots, growing cannabis. I'm very happy. Welcome to my grow diary of the Royal queen seeds Royal Gorilla very nice looking, overall very good performance for this kind of (not so good) weather. Hoping for flowering to set soon, warm weather is coming this week, so maybe in a couple of days we can see the first flowering hairs.

Well this little lady has finally decided to flower lol. She is starting to stretch a bit which is nice since here tent mates dwarf her lol. But she is happy and healthy.

***** Week 5 - Jan 9 to 15/21 ****** This week the girls saw lots of change! They have seen a light change and now they have been transplanted and topped. Push the girls harder and see how they react😃 They have been in very good shape and healthy so they have been reacting well to the stress. These girls are pretty strong considering they are a week behind the others. They were topped this week but not much material removed from the tops of these girls. They have bounced back very well. Topped all of the ETS girls and left them with 4 sets of branches on each. If the lowest set of branches were tiny, I have stripped them off already. Not sure if I am going to SCROG or not.....I don’t really want to but it is the best way to fill the canopy and test out the light spread......will see. These girls seem to be growing strong and may need to be tied down or stretch could be a bitch😂 They have continued to be fed once a week roughly and supplemented with calmag and microbes. Little more detail....... Jan 9/21, Day 29 Veg - Transplant day today!!!!!! She went into a 5 gal pot - Root mass was much better than in the solo cups......not as strong as Gorilla Girl for comparison but just about perfect and didn’t need to prune them. - 1.5L watering of the pots after transplant with CalMag @ 2ml, Microbial Mass @ 3ml, Piranha @ 2ml (effectively microbes, fungi and CalMag watering) Jan 10/21, Day 30 Veg - 1.5L Feed with full strength week 2 nutrients - added CalMag @ 1ml as well. New coco in the pots that have not been buffered so added a little more. - 1,300ppm and 5.9pH.......feeling it might be a little high.....target was 1150ppm. - no run off water from the pots. Didn’t want to “soak” the pots, jet wet them. - New light in the tent today. 650watt but dialled down so the girls have roughly 10,500 LUX, drawing 135 watts - Topped the girls today as well😃 - left 4 sets of branches on each girl. Topped them up high on the node above to help avoid splitting the main stem. Jan 11/21, Day 31 Veg - Dry out day - girls reacting well to the high ppm feed from yesterday. Jan 12/21, Day 32 Veg - 1.5L watering with CalMag @ 1ml - 200ppm and 5.9pH Jan 13/21, Day 33 Veg - Dry out day Jan 14/21, Day 34 Veg - 2L watering with CalMag @ 2ml - 250ppm and 5.9pH (actually added 1ml of Micro as pH was a little high) - IPM spray tonight with Lost Coast Plant Therapy @ 3ml/L. Done at lights out. - This product been working well and nothing has been a set back so not going to stop now😃👍 Jan 15/21, Day 35 Veg - Dry out day. - Girls doing well. Still have some strong purple in the fan leaves coming off the main stem.
