This week was a big week for the candy cush. I noticed upon watering her to run off, that in the same day the pot would go super dry and light weight. I also noticed stress in the leaves and roots poking out the bottom of the pot. It was time for a transplant. So far so good! Upon transplanting i performed more LST to help her fill in the pot. She went from a 1 gallon to a 5 gallon. She was also defoliated thia week.

Day 46 of Flower, 93 since germination. Starting to check the trichomes with my new wifi microscope. Looks like Lemon Extract has a scattering of amber trichome heads, but only in bud nearest the light. All other look milky and glassy. I'm thinking Lemon Extract might harvest in one week. The others, maybe two weeks. Gave the ladies their last feeding today. Just PH balanced water from here til harvest.

I was selected to test some of Fastbuds new genetics. Seeds germinated and 4 days later it broke ground and is looking great. This grow is in my 4x4ft grow space located in an uninsulated shed. Each plant has a dedicated 150-200w LED from Viparspectra or Mars. Winter Temps in my area spike to -15C or more in Jan and Feb, so this will be an interesting and challenging grow. The grow room is 20-30C above ambient temperature, so there is a little manual and auto manipulation of grow Temps. 9/25: Harvested them, washed and hung to dry for 5 days, then alternated from jars to brown paper bags for a several more days. Final thoughts: This strain proved to be very indica in both growth characteristics and effect. I really like it as a "medicinal" variety..great for stress/anxiety or insomnia. The buds are super "greasy" and dank while growing and once dry. They didn't stretch much, and had hardly any lateral branching, unlike their mother. They didn't take up any more space than their pots. Would have been perfect for a single-strain SOG. Very heavy for shorter, cola-only plants...buds are really really dense. Hi! I switched the light schedule to 12/12 and did a heavy defoliation on both plants. They were really bushy and filled with fan leaves, I was bending and adjusting the bigger leaves daily, to leave space for the bud sites to get more light, but now they can really see the light. I didn’t amend the soil with more nutrients, as I said on the last weeks report. The humidity and temperature are pretty stable, I just watered with 4ml of compositing juice on 1L of water to try to eliminate the dry spots on the pot. On September 18 (21 days from the 12/12 start) I’ll do a final major defoliation. I’m hoping that they stretch a lot on the following weeks, I have plenty of space for vertical growth. That’s it for now, let the pistils begin!

Ciao a tutti! C'è stata un'accellerata imprevista e così mi sa che raccoglierò una settimana prima del previsto! Tra 3 o 4 giorni taglio tutto! Ho svuotato completamente i vasi e ho messo solamente acqua liscia per far sì che le radici scarichino bene tutti i nutrimenti ancora presenti. Devo registrare purtroppo un piccolo problema di muffa, dovuto sicuramente all'umidificatore (purtroppo ho dovuto tenerlo acceso per tenere bassa la temperatura) in quanto si è formata sugli 8 apicali della pianta più vicina ad esso. Ho dovuto purtroppo tagliarli e buttarli via quasi per intero, ci avrò rimesso una ventina di grammi, anche 30. Post memoria per me: l'anno prossimo a luglio non devo avere niente e iniziare il ciclo a metà agosto con le temperature più accessibili. Comunque sta andando benissimo a parte l'imprevisto, non vedo l'ora di raccogliere e fumare! Ci vediamo la prossima per l'ultima settimana 🤣🤣🍀🍀💪🏼💪🏼

Autos are just starting to flower the photos are dying for some bigger pots. I've been trying to bring up the overall plant health in general since moving everything to a basement the temps are a little lower than ideal. I had a space heater delivered today and monitored the temps but they only went up to around 78°f I want it to be atleast 82°f ideally 85. The heater uses 1500 watt and only increased it about 2 or 3°. I dont think it's worth the extra cost for such little boost. I'm thinking about returning the heater and throwing a 1000w hps in one of the other tents and see if that will raise it anymore. Especially with LED and co2 higher temps would be very beneficial in veg and early flower but the room is so big its gunna be tough to pull off without killing me on electric costs. Any suggestions are welcome. I know this room does decent in flower but I havnt done much veg work down here and I'll have some autos growing this round so it's important I get it up.

D50 - 11.2 - Everything is going great! They are drinking a lot more as expected. Decided we continue vegging for another week or two. **Very curious if super soil growers ever come across any deficiencies? You can see a couple lower fan leaves I removed today. I'm sure leaf loss to some extent is natural, but I read that the lower leaves are your indicators, so I wanted to run these by yall to see if you suspect and deficiencies cropping up.** Seriously, I appreciate everyone hear so much! Thanks for checking out my grow! 👽🙏 D52 - 11.4 - They loved the foliar spray I made, treated right at lights out yesterday. Heck watering these, even with my gravity fed tube is such a pain haha. I don't have good access except from the front, due to this giant black box being crammed into my bedroom, so I have to spray across the tent kinda in plank straddling plants using pressure from my thumb and forefinger and HECK! Everything will be easier when 4 of them get sploit off into the 3x3 but I already got my eye on some blumats for next grow haha Anyway, I've never found a hobby so enriching. I look in my tents and see these babies praying and it's just the most content I've ever felt. I've loved plants since I was a kid and always had had bonsai trees, bamboo and vines in my bedroom window. I felt the pull to grow a decade ago but prohibition in my state and some very unsympathetic ‘rents made that impossible. My dad actually burned my hps lights and DIY aeroponics box in a bon fire before they every got to be used. So this is a dream I’ve been patiently waiting to become a reality. As much as I love cannabis and benefit from its medicinal use, I’m finding the grow grounding and therapeutic. I feel like I’m getting to express a part of myself I haven’t before and it’s a joy.

Week 3 of flower and the garden is looking great! I'm living for the aroma that fills my entire apartment each time I unzip the tent. The pre-flower stretch is pretty much over at this point. Maybe a few more days left. Mimosa EVO stretched the most after the 12/12 switch, followed closely by the Glookies. American Pie #1 remained relatively short compared to American Pie #2, and the other 2 cultivars. With that said, the canopy isn't as even across the top as I would like. I can't really complain too much though because there are so many colas. Did a light defoliation in addition to lollipopping. My LST job is looking pretty good. My next grow I should have my technique more zeroed in, with an even canopy across the board. Onto week #4! I'll see you all there. 🙏

The BruceBanner3 was nice to grow and we can absolutely her. she produced a lot of buds and brought us a yield of 65g dried. It tastes very delicious, much fruitier than the runtz. Despite a temporary lack of calmag and the wrong ph value, she rewards us with juicy buds You can really taste the terps, we had never smoked anything like it before!

Everything lookin and smellin good. Found a random macaw hanging out under one of my gelatos in the middle of my garden and finally got a pic of my other buddy kermit the toad. Poor bird was extremely thirsty and hungry and dont look to b in great shape. 😞😟 lucky i caught em cause he tried to leave after he drank his fill.

Commencing Week 7: day 43 on January 12th Today I left the dirty girls (I call them that because they are in soil 😋) out of the tent for their first time in their lives to hang out with some new girlfriends (my photoperiod s). They seem very happy to be hanging out with them 👍👍 The other day I took one of my personal photoperiod Crosses and pollinated one of the bottom flowers of the bloody skunk, hopefully seeds will be coming soon :-) Today I started thinking about how much longer they have left and it seems the bloody skunk is nearing the finish Line already. In the beginning of this diary I wanted to achieve the goal of getting some autoflower seeds by taking one of the syrup strains and cross breeding it but none of my syrups strains made it from seed for some reason. So now I'm thinking about taking the top bud off of bloody skunk in the next week or two and letting the rest of the plant go through rodelization so I may still achieve that goal. We shall see.
