Flowerday50: I‘m really happy with the bud growth. I think the naturalgreenrootin leave spray did his job really well, I see more healthy plants this time. Struggleing a bit with the humidity (55%) but it is what it is. 2-2.5 more weeks, smell is crazy right now

Saturday, 19/02/2022 All plants looking OK. I realised I had no clear plan as to what I would do with the plants I LST'd so I removed the ties today. I really prefer the symmetry of mainlining so that is what I will be going for, specifically, quadlining. Plants showed no ill effects to Cytokin treatment (drench and foliar at same rate) and seemed to like it. Fed on 15/02/2022 with 10ml/gallon CAB and 5 ml/gallon Real Growers Recharge (RGR) on 17/02/2022. No ill effects to RGR and plants seemed to like it. Ph'd with 1.5 ml/gallon Evergrow Ph Down Sulphur on the 17th, not sure about the 15th, I may have used rainwater. Top of soil and actual soil at depth was moist today so I did not feed but at this moment, 2:34 PM, there has been significant rainfall for the past hour. Really need to get a rain gauge. Apart from the pots being on bare soil (need to get them off bare ground with large saucers, blocks, stepstones or something similar). I really don't mind the rain because I think the "natural" water will be good for the beneficials introduced by the Recarge and subsequently the plants. As I move the plants what seem to be whiteflies immediately flit about. Really, really need to get going on IPM!😣 5:13 PM, Saturday, 19/02/2022 Raised pots off ground with plant saucers. Treated pots, soil cover and plants with dusting of Insect Powder.

Starting the week off very healthy. Only change is the adjustment of light height and the removal of Mass Pro. I’m seeing very rapid growth both vertically and horizontally. Plants are showing signs of pre-FLOWER, light intensity was moved up to 80% with a max 700 PPFD. So far so good. All plants are happy and healthy…

End Week 8 a lil light burn. Still shocked 14day veg at 14inches went over 65 inches(lights max is 63). I bent tucked topped and folded still in the lights. Other then some cooked tops it looks to be a good harvest soon. Stinky and sticky af.

Week 2 of flower for these girls. I decided to use a lesser dose of nutes because I noticed after a few days after my feed last week that there may have been some leaf burn. -I changed up the nutrients a little and also finished putting up my inline fan - pulling fresh air from outside in for CO2. I simply used ducts for it. Now that cooler air is coming in from outside I can slowly turn up my lights to 900 watts, I’ll see how they do in about a day or 2 more and then the lights will switch to 1000watts. -Did some more defoliation. The leaves grow so fast!! Took 2 days to do all my plants lol I’m trying to do it every week or other week -The plants are drinking a lot more than they used to, I’m now feeding water every second day and nutes every second day! They’re growing so fast before my eyes It’s such a cool feeling seeing all my hard work coming along, with the first buds popping up and looking like real weed now. Feeling motivated! 😇

Plant 1: 2.40 Oz dry (chopped day 84) Plant 2: 4.85 Oz dry (chopped day 88) Happy with them so far. Will update post cure and smoke report.

Week 8 has gone well and she is chugging along. She is still putting out new pistils with some turning orange. Calyx's are growing longer and buds are still soft. I'm thinking a min of 10 weeks flowering for her. I removed some leaves on inner canopy to bring some air and light deeper. She is so bushy its hard to even defoliate maybe next time i will remove some more lateral branches... afterremoving the leaves I must have come incontact with a pollen sack as where I defoliated all seemed to be polinated over night and are making seeds :( I will cut my losses and harvest while seeds are still small.

really easy to grow. Had some issues in the begging being underfed and low ph issues. But still grew through all the struggles. Wasnt the biggest yield but wasn't the biggest plant. So wasn't expecting truly much. The purple pheno gave me a zip and half about. The other green one gave me a zip dry. Both smell lovely and can't wait. Will come back next week or so to update smoke report. Also fixing to make cannabutter from some of this can not wait ^_^ . Will grow it again but in a bigger pot maybe.

I Have changed the light cycle on December 22nd to 12 hs on and 12hs off which marks the start of the Flowering stage! So let's see how this lady develops and hoping for a beautiful stretch!

About this diary> So I've made it to the end! This baby didnt die on me! This diary was half a record for myself, to keep improving and contrasting against my future grows in and out of this wonderful platform (growdiaries), and half a tutorial for other noobs like me. That's why I wrote somewhat long explanations about some of the things I myself found confusing during this and last grow. I also repeated myself, but again mostly because I was trying to learn while doing. I got some help from other growers in the community, which was very nice, and different from trying to figuring out everything by oneself. This girl stretched a lot! from about 30 cm at the end of flower to about 90 cm before harvest, it survived nutrient burn, an accident were I dropped something heavy on her on flower, accidentally chopping a branch during LST and spider mites. However, still yielded nicely. I cant imagine what these genetics could become in the hands of a master grower!! About the growing conditions> The idea of the grow was, not only to learn how to grow a somewhat long flowering strain (6 week veg, 10 weeks flower) but also doing it very cheaply. I think the most expensive thing I bought was the seed from RQS. I built my own light fixture (from 4x 4.00CAD COBs from aliexpress), some cardboard, wire, sticks, tape and aluminum foil. I also used dollar store nutrients (like 15% of a 15-15-15 veg mix, and a 15-30-15 flowering mix). I timed this strain to finish a few weeks before the temperature really starts dropping outside, and was always able to keep it around 20-29C without any air conditioner/heater. About growing amnesia haze> I harvested this plant on the early side, but I found it a challenge not to harvest earlier! Since many weeks ago the delicious smell has been filling the room and some parts of the house... Plus, its a long wait... However, I think it was very well rewarded :) As I said, the high is creative, giggly, energetic and uplifting, at least from the premature samples we got. I will update this once the real deal is dry and cured :) About the harvest> Well in terms of numbers, I will update this when the weed is done drying, but I can do an estimate right now... each sample I took weighted about 1.45g wet, and dried to a 25% of that (0.35 g each)... It means that what I weighted from the harvest (412.86g + a bunch of trim) would probably weight about 100g when dry... Let's see how it goes in a week or two :)

TUESDAY 7/16: Today I transplanted her into a 3 gallon pot and moved her outdoors. She has a massive root system already. I watered her in with bottled water and some dolomite, azomite, and bokashi. I'll cook up some tea for her and everybody else I move outdoors in the next few days. WEDNESDAY: I watered her with about a half-gallon and added Kelp Me Kelp You. I also sprayed her a few times with Boom Boom Juice and she seemed to grow an inch almost immediately.😀 THURSDAY: She grew two inches overnight! I FIM'd her today and inspected her for pests...all clear.👍 FRIDAY: Inspected for pests and repositioned her in a spot that gets another half hour of sunlight per day. I sprayed the area with Ortho again and bought a little air bubbler to aerate water for compost tea. SATURDAY: She put on a few more inches since Thursday..really stretching now, but I still see no pistils. I mixed up a fairly weak batch of Big Bloom and Grow Big plus some Kelp Me Kelp You and douched her with about a half-gallon right as the sun was coming up. I also prepared a foliar feed using Big Bloom and Kelp Me Kelp You and sprayed her well before the sun came up, and again after it was going down. I also started aerating 4 gallons of water today...will add the compost tea tomorrow morning and let it cook for 24 hours. SUNDAY: I foliar fed her and sprinkled little more Silicium Flash on top of the soil of all my plants and mixed about 4 grams of Bactrex into a jug with 3/4 gallon of bottled water and douched all my plants with about 2 pints each. That should really get the beneficial bacteria and fungus kicked into overdrive. I started brewing a 4 gallon batch of compost tea today. Since I don't have any Orgatrex, I am using a little Big Bloom, Kelp Me Kelp You, and Grow Big in the tea in addition to the PK Compost Booster tea from Bi Tabs. I'll add Mycotrex to it about 2 hours before it finishes and dowse them all, thoroughly, tomorrow morning. MONDAY: I think I FIM'd the FIM job..not acting right...but she's stretching like crazy now. She got about a liter of compost tea this morning along with a good foliar feeding.

woot woot we got flowers starting!! Been such a horrible week for weather again but we got some steady growth! shes starting to get a little stank on her as well, yum yum!!! with 5-6 weeks unitl harvest i'm optimistic that I will get enough herbs to watch pineapple express lol i wish our weather would be a little better but oh well lol

It's been 55 days of flower now and The gals are still loving the fc4800 and their new 8x8 mars hydro grow tent as much as I do👍 leaves are sticking straight up towards the light. Love how easy the zippers are to open and close. Nice and strong and guaranteed to last. It has extra material on the backside of the zipper that helps for light leaksand enough ports and vents for anything you need in it👍. the tsw2000 is still going strong and is also a very good light. Its been going almost nonstop for 6 months and still working the same as when I got it👍. not much heat off both lights but the fc4800 is alot cooler and the heat-sinks work extremely well. I have it daisy chained to the tsw2000 and 1 dimmer controls the other and i don't need to be reaching in too far to dim the other light, it's awesome and I can't wait to buy more lights to daisy 4 together👍. I would recommend this light to everyone that grows with leds and have trouble with temperatures getting too high. Even if you grow with HPS lights I think any mars hydro light is a MUST TRY. I like how heavy both lights are because I know it means they are built soild and strong 💪. Very good sign with the frost they are starting to get thanks to bith mars hydro lights. I can notice more frost under the fc4800 and I'm thinking it's from the UV DIODES they put on the fc4800 👍. 2 days ago they all smelt like my nuken, sweet marshmallows. But now I can smell the monkey dough and gorilla glue and skunk monkey coming through👍. I touched a bud on the gorilla and monkey fingers smelt like fruit loops👍 really pleasant smell. Lingered on my fingers for atleast 30 min. I'm glad mars hydro is under priced compared to some brands and for how popular they are. usually companies would charge more. Thanks mars you guys are awesome 🤘🥁🎸. I'm getting a new exhaust fan soon. An 8 inch that will work alot better than my 4 inch lol. Wayyy to small for a 8x8 Grow Tent. Dehumidifier is going almost non stop to try and get the humidity down. I love how both lights on 100% power only raise my temperature 2 or 3 degrees 👍. You can rest your hand on the lights and not much heat comes off them. Obviously there is some heat but for the brightness of the lights and only raising the temp that much is awesome 👌.  And if I wanted to I could remove the driver from the fc4800 and run it on the outside of my tent because the cord is so long but 2 or 3 degrees is barely nothing👍. The girls are starting to bulk up abit now and only 3 weeks of flowering, these lights are awesome 👌.  My last run of monkey dough and gorilla glue didn't start showing alot of crystals until week 4. Plant is really hungry,I thought she was finished but she just keeps going. I’m assuming my particular pheno is got to foxtail, buds are growing out the buds ! Wtf, she’s bigs asf her little sister is filling out

23.05. today is the end of the fourth week for the plants, they haven't progressed much since last week, they grew a few cm and gained a little weight, but they are healthy, which is the most important thing... in a few days I will transplant them and top them because some of them have already developed the sixth pair of leaves, so I simply have to top them. turned out... I thought of transplanting them into 10-liter pots and after two to three weeks into 50-liter holes, however, the weather didn't cooperate, and I was already late anyway because of the bad weather, and because of the same, my plants in the fourth week were the same as they should have been in the second, and because of the same, I couldn't even transplant earlier... now that nothing went according to the "plan", of course, I don't know how smart it is to transplant them into 10 L and then into 50 with the fact that it is with me the longest day of the year is June 22, so that actually a week after that it can start flowering (it usually starts at the end of July or at the end of August, but it can be late and start even in September, and it also knows how to plow and start already at the end of June)...now I think that it is better to buy smart pots of 50-60 liters and immediately transplant into them and then just bury them...another problem with that is that the soil that I took for vegetation has food in it for a month days, if I transplant twice, it may happen that it enters flowering, and the food for the vegetation has not yet been used up, and that would be a problem...advices are welcome Stay high!!!
