Week 11 started I think that the plant is near to the end, maybe a couple of weeks or less. During this week I will start to check trichomes, my objective is to have 50-50 milky and amber. This will be the last week with nutrients. D71: changed the water to the pot, added 30ml bloom, 15ml micro, 10ml pH-. D73: first trichomes check today: 40 crystal, 50 milky, 10 amber. Added four liters of tap water. D74: added 3 liters of tap water with 5ml of pH- D75: added 3 liters of tap water.

I am attempting to germinate Fast Buds tester FBT 2401. I am dropping it in a cup of water first 24 to 48 hours. She will be growing under a Medic Grow Mini Sun-2. I will update picture when she sprouts. Then start my 1st vegging week shortly after. First full week of flowering Super Silver Haze indoorsu

Entering the 11th week and she is still filling in slowly but surely! I did some more LST to tie down some branches even further and open up the spacing between colas to allow light to get in to lower buds. I also did some defoliation as she is super bushy. This variety has been know to take a little longer to finish and she is right in line with that. I am honestly thinking another three weeks at least before harvest.

Outdoor coco 15g pots Progress: Lava cake is about week 6.5. Starting to ripen and get heavy. Buds are getting fat. Strong sweet cookie/ ice cream smell. Buds are getting more frosty. Buds are getting so heavy I installed a net on 3 of 4 and doing #4 soon. On my most mature plant - About 25-30% of pistils have turned color. Some trichomes are milky, none amber. Looks like plants are a few days apart. Marathon OG week 5 1/2. Still stacking and getting fat. Smells dank. Trichomes are showing up. The 20 gallon OG is growing into a monster. I’m still waiting for the heavy bud stacks…. Nutes: Bumping up ppm, the dry koolbloom and molasses, stopping regular koolbloom and grow. Looking to starting flushing the lava cake in a week or so. Feeding 2x a day; 3x on hot days. Weather: Had a good week of cooler temps until yesterday, when it was 97. Looking at hugs in the 80s this week, perfect. Pests: The moths and caterpillars are in full swing so I’m applying BT every morning. I’m working hard to reduce caterpillar 🐛 losses. We lost all of the top colas on a plant in another location 💔 . I’m only losing one bud at a time and not the entire colas so far. Wishing fat buds and monster harvests to all.

Week 15 Day 99 (20/11/2020): Unfortunately did not have time today to take pictures or check them because have been quite busy. Day 100 (21/11/2020): Woow day 100 today, which seems a bit crazy but I think the girls just need another month and they will be ready for harvest. It has been a great grow so far and although 100 days seems like a lot, the girls have definitely come really far. DSD is definitely one of the slower girls and her buds are not as big as the other girls, but maybe that will pay off by being the most hard-hitting. Day 101 (22/11/2020)💧: Measured the pH of the girl today before watering and it was at 5.75 which means it needs to be increased slightly. I wonder why it keeps dropping because apparently the BioBizz soil is supposed to maintain the pH pretty well but I guess she is quite big and must be taking in more nutrients. I also decided to stop giving her CalMag since she has not been showing the deficiency on the leaves for a week or two now. So I watered with the usual 1.5ml of BioGrow, 4.5ml of BioBloom, 1.5ml of TopMax. And on top of that I gave 0.75ml of pH+ to increase the pH by 0.5 points. The buds are not fattening up as much as I thought they would but the trichomes are definitely getting more and more dense on the flower which is a great sign. Day 102 (23/11/2020): DSD has definitely been the most resistant to stress/nutrients/watering problems. She always looks happy and except for the calcium deficiency at the end of veg, she has definitely been the strongest girl of the 4 in the tent. So happy with how she has been growing, definitely reflects the indica that she is Day 103 (24/11/2020): Not that many updates today, just doing as amazing as always. Day 104 (25/11/2020)💧: Today I watered the girl with 1.5ml of BioGrow, 4.5ml of BioBloom, and 1.5 of Topmax. She is looking really healthy and beautiful as always Day 105 (26/11/2020): Managed to take some lovely pictures and a video of a close up of those beautiful snowy trichomes. This girl will definitely be a hard hitter – all the trichomes are so densely packed. Amazing progress from last week and the flowers are definitely fattening up.

Anesia Seeds - Chimera Cut💚 100 days from seed and 52 days into flowering. Everything is going well, but of course, we always strive for better! The main cola has split into three massive buds, all covered in sugar and looking incredibly beautiful. However, the lower branches don’t look as impressive, but we’re holding out hope that they’ll bulk up a bit more. I’m considering increasing the nutrient dosage, as our girl has quite the appetite. We’re almost out of nutrients, but luckily, our favorite fertilizers from Xpert Nutrients are already on their way to us. A huge thank you to Xpert Nutrients 💚for always having our back! 12/8 - Here we are at the beginning of week 10. Her buds are starting to frost up and she is definitely bulking up more than her sister, but her sister has a longer projected flowering time-frame (Heavy Sativa vs Indica). Anyways, did some minor pruning for airflow optimization and to remove some unhappy leaves from her undergrowth. They weren't yellow, but they weren't getting enough light and it was showing. Haven't done much to her this week other than top her off with Tap every other day. Seems like her feed from last week was on point as her pH and EC were solid as the water level lowered. After her first top-off, her EC started to fall as she ate more (reflected in the lower ec in the res after topping off with tap). Tapered her down to 80% strength as she is moving further along in flower and should hopefully finish sooner than her sister. If she needs a bump in her EC, I may top off with full strength nutes, but I'm going to just wait and see how she responds. Breeder's timeline reflects a ~65 day seed-to-harvest, but I can assure anyone out there growing this strain in DWC that she will not be ready in that time-frame. Currently she is sitting on day 67 and still looks like she has another 2 weeks or more. I grew her in soil before and she was ready pretty darn close to her expected time-frame (~70 days), but this strain responds to DWC differently. She didn't have slow growth or anything; just seems like she will veg longer in hydro than in soil. Not sure why. Thanks for stopping by the garden, and, as always, Happy Growing!
