week 2 or 14th day I noticed a mutation in my plant but other than that my indoor plant looks so much more healthy than my outdoor plant let's see what the next week brings .....

20/01/2025 Seedlings have definitely grown in size! Bottom watered again today. Mixed 3L solution of Calmag, Growell Plus 8:8:8, Seaweed extract (2ml / 1ml / 1ml) and watered 1L per pot. Solution was sucked dry from tray relatively fast, guess the roots are growing. 21/01/2025 Measured PPFD / DLI today and found that my existing light had a relatively low ppfd value output. Reading 50 plus PPFD / 4.5 DLI at 24 inch height 75% power, generating insane amounts of heat if the grow tent is closed. Thing is the max ppfd is about 150 at 24 inches. Can't bring down the lights more without potentially causing light burn due to the high DLI low ppfd ratio. Fortunately I have the tent in a temperature controlled room so I had to leave the tent open to ensure there was good airflow cooling down the excess heat without causing too much of a temp shift. Managed to bring up the humidity by adding a larger humidifier maintaining 60 to 70 % range. Did myself a favour and ordered the vivosun aerolight a200se to go along with the rest of the vivosun kit. Hoping it arrives by week 3! Besides this, seedlings look healthy, did some foliar feeding with homemade wood vinegar (5ml to 1L) after lights out. 22/01/2025 I almost killed my plants with light lol. Turns out my existing light was putting up alright dishing out 1200 pfd from 24 inches at max. I noticed some skewed reading when I was tilting my phone screen so decided to take off the screen protector and damn.. ppfd was at 800 ppfd! It was the screen protector not the lights 😆 Since there were no signs of yellowing or wilting I decided to keep it at 400 ppfd. Bottom watered with 1L each of (2ml CalMag / 1ml Growell Plus 8:8:8 / 1ml Seaweed to 3L phed to 5.9) had about 100 ml excess after waiting for 10 mins so I drained out the excess. 23/01/2025 Fortunately my blunder with the lights didn't cost me too much. Plants still looking healthy, 3rd set of true leaves opening up.

Having a blast sharing more content lately—I’m in the zone with editing and creating, so get ready for even more shares! 🌡️ Environmental Control and Fine-Tuning the Reservoir pH Temps this week have been holding around 27.2°C with RH at 65.2% and CO2 at 800 ppm, creating a VPD of 1.26 for ideal flower development. The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. Really kicking myself in the ass for not taking cuts of this. Probably some of the better outdoor/greenhouse flower i have produced.

1/23 - Beginning of week 11 for Crystal Candy. Will start to give plain water only starting tomorrow 1/25 - Still week 10 for the Fog Dog but the leaves have started to get a nice little fade to them. Buds are getting plump and dense. I have a few weeks left before I chop so there’s plenty more time to fatten up 1/27 - Week 11 for Fog Dog finally began and the buds on both are looking nice and frosty and smelling up the tent 1/30 - Noticed some spider mites on the fog dog a few days ago. I trimmed the top of the infested buds and cleaned the mites and webs off several times a day and raised the humidity back up. They seem to be gone for now so I will probably finish out this grow with a slightly higher humidity than normal. I have heavy airflow so it shouldn’t be an issue.

Flipping to flower after this week and taking clones. Steady growth rate and they are getting smelly lol which is always a good sign before flower.

On to week 9, will be starting to flush this week I think🤔 , buds starting to get bigger and denser by the day now main cola on the gorilla glue especially dense! Both stinkin glad I got a decent carbon filter! Counting down the days now can’t wait! Happy growing!

Harvest Part One, Day 93: First harvest of the Main colas, as a lot of the trichomes turned brown. An awful lot of work to trim wet, but wanted to get rid of all the dryed leaves. A comment on another diary said leaves turned yellow because of possible lockout. Well, i cant deny it, but i have no experience at all with it. In hindsight i should have used a lot more fertilizer during the vegi phase, i guess, because this monster turned out to be super hungry (if that makes sense). Density after removing the leaves is ok i think. Expected a bit more to be honest. Massive headbuds still though. However, kinda „raw“ on the inside as you can see by the color and general appearance. So wondering if it was to early still. Alright, half of the plant cut down, and placed in dryferm bags (compare to dryaging but tailored to Cannabis), as i have mentioned before. Still in the process, after like 7 days half of the weight gone already. A Bit more to go i think. I think i will post another update with the bottom part of the plant and for sure one with the finished product. So far very surprising strain in a positive way, still very delicate smell (i get the „doughy“ and in a sense creamy part of dutch Passions Description, its very subtile though and not much else, almost citrusy tea like), great yield, grows somewhat easy but probably isnt easy to maintain and doesnt like errors in handling. All in all im very happy and cant wait to try the First Buds. So far 7.5/10 — very decent. Let‘s see how it performs. Might change the evaluation then. And sorry, might totally be wrong about everything. Let me know your opinion, criticism, etc., please!

Welcome back to growfessor theatre! Week 4F begins in the 4x4. Heavy defoliation performed on the Mandarin dreams and Do-si-dos, Green Crack and LSD got a light defoliation. LSD had the most yellowing, she seems to be the hungriest for nutrients. Not much else to report, the ladies are happy, healthy and bud is developing nicely! Starting to see nitrogen toxicity in the Solomatic, I'm watering with only PH water since 1 week now

i went on holiday and installed an automatic watering pump...seems like it didn't activate as planed...when i got back after 7 days the pots were compleatly dry... i removed alot of dead foliage from beneath...i would have removed it for better airflow soon anyways...so not much harm taken... after a big watering they looked fine again budgrowth didn't seem to be affected by the complete dryout...let's see where this goes...buds look perfectly fine so far
