The Blackberry auto by Fastbuds has been a thrilling plant to grow. Starting off as a tri-cotyledon seedling, she's been a rush from the start. When she came out mutated I didn't even know if I wanted to keep her; I asked the growdiaries.com community for help. After speaking with a few experts I decided to keep it and see what would happen.. Since then she has developed thick healthy stocks stalks and dark leaves with ripe purple flowers bursting out between them add every node. Using a home mix super soil with Promis Organic as the base, I decided to feed compost extracts laced with Golden Tree & CalMag which helped kick this girl into over drive and push out these dense sticky buds. I'm expecting around 3 ounces from her and it's day 73 since she popped out of the soil. She has a sweet aroma and is completely covered in trichomes. Drying/ Curing process: - she will be hung upside down by the main stock until she is dry (8-12 days) - My humidity will be set to 55 - 60 % and my temps will range from 65-70 degrees F - Will store in Glas Mason jars with 2-way Boveda humidty packs. Been a working week! Defoliated twice! First I did lower fan leaves, waited a few days and snipped the Rest to allow light to reach all news growth! Dynomyco is a banger it’s got these girls so sturdy! Just look at the stems and how much growth I have already and this is just day 28 in veg! A lot more to come! I can’t wait! Still continuing with foliar sprays a few times a day!

She’s onto flower. Showing Pistols 48 hours after the flip to an 11 on 13 off light schedule. She is doing great and is the biggest of the three in the tent. As she’s a true Sativa I added the first layer of trellis netting in anticipation of her stretch. 8-9 weeks of flower ahead for this girl.

Day 30 - Into week 5 and calling this the first official week of flower. She’s definitely started to explode a bit with growth so I continued the LST a bit and gonna let her go a bit for now. I did tie down the main stem again to try and get the canopy as even as possible. She’s already starting to show her red/purple colors and look forward to see it as she gets further along. Day 31 - She’s already turned back up to the light after tying her down again last night. She’s really starting to show her colors now and she’s getting close to her first feeding of bloom nutes. Thought she’d be ready today but still needs another day or two before she’s ready. Day 32 - All is still good, she’s finally starting to stretch a bit and get a bit bigger. It will probably be another few days before she gets her first feeding, the soil is still pretty wet. The damn colors on this thing are already amazing and she’s just starting to flower. Day 33 - Nothing major to update today, all looks good and she’s almost ready for some water and nutes but not quite yet. Day 34 - Her pot is pretty much dry so giving her one more day and will give her the first feeding of nutes tomorrow. Other than that, I’m just watching the colors shine. Day 35 - The end of another week for this girl as well and she’s looking great. Very spaced out so all sides of her are getting good light. She finally got her first feeding of bloom nutes today so we’ll see how she’s doing tomorrow.

Week 7 plants are going great. The Contest Pheno on the top right corner is out growing all the other phenos. The development seems to be faster than previous generations of the limon Blanco. The other are more consistent in their growth patterns so far. Scrog has been placed as of day 48 and going to let plants grow into it over next couple weeks before flower and second trellis.

Week 12 looks girl #1 is coming to a end. I haven’t over fed or over watered and she’s starting to get yellow leaves. I feed her one more time at the end of this week. Starting week 13 I’m going to start to flush her. Her smell has gotten more intense this week also. She smells like sweet tropical citrus. Also she looks to be filling in more and her buds are starting to get a little dense. She definitely exceeded my expectations. I couldn’t have predicted from veg she would be this size. Girl#2 unfortunately never started flower and she’s going get 12-12 after I harvest girl #1. I’ll start another diary for girl #2 when that time comes. I knew she would be long winded but this is just extreme 😂. I know you experienced growers know this story very well, but for a rookie like me 😆 I’m pulling my hair out and punching the air with frustration 👊🤬🤯😁. Week 8 flower and the Sour Diesel is still fattening up and looks like about 2 weeks to go. Going to swell good I think. Lots of frost and getting thick. Turned the lights down now to 50% and they seem to be happy with that. Still just water through the drip and hand water once a week. Gnats suck and need to take care of them before next grow and do a better job moving forward. These TSW 2000’s from Mars Hydro are awesome and with two of them side by side are more than enough for this space. We arrived in the third week the plants show good vigor and growth. Some cold days 17 Cº may have prevented further growth but we do not have to complain the plants demonstrate to be enjoying food and light. On the 15th the plants presented slightly wilted leaves as day 16 was the day of watering I imagined it was thirsty. But day 16 a few hours after watering the plant still had the same symptoms so I realized that the LED screen was 53 cm from the plant. I increased the distance to 65cm and the plant returned to normal both in force and I managed to correct the diagnosis. I am managing to apprehend some things finally putting into practice.

Often, marijuana growers who have their plants in indoor grow tents or rooms with artificial lighting, take into account parameters such as temperature and relative humidity to maximize plants growth and bloom, thus obtaining abundant harvest with top quality flowers. As we will see later, these factors affect different processes of the plant, such as transpiration or nutrient uptake. However, we usually forget about another important factor that is related to the aforementioned ones: vapor pressure deficit or VPD. Broadly speaking, VPD is the difference between the amount of water vapor that the atmosphere is able to retain (which depends on temperature) and the amount of water vapor contained in it (relative humidity). It is usually measured in kilopascals (kPa). Providing our plants with a correct relationship between temperature and relative moisture will keep us on the right VPD parameters, increasing the plant’s activity and thus improving its growth and showing its full potential during the flowering phase. The ideal would be to adjust both parameters (temperature and humidity) to get the best possible VPD value, so that the development of plants will be amazing.In the chart above you can see the right temperature and moisture values to maximize the development of cannabis plants. The green zone shows you optimal values of VPD, in which it would be ideal to maintain the environment. The orange zone shows correct values, in which plants should not have problems to develop normally. However, red areas show values in which your plants will be very far from hit their full potential, since the relation between temperature and moisture is not optimal. With relatively high values of VPD (between 5 and 12) plants tend to open their stomata and release a considerable amount of water vapor into the environment (increasing their transpiration). This increase in transpiration results in an increase in the plant’s photosynthetic activity, which will need more nutrients and will improve its overall growth, both during growth and bloom. The best range is between 7.5 and 10.5, which we have marked in green. However, we must be careful that VPD is not too high (dark red zone) since the plant would close its stomata to avoid releasing too much water vapor to the environment, which would result in fast dehydration due to excessive transpiration. On the other hand, if VPD is too low (light red zone), the plant will also close its stomata for not releasing more water into the atmosphere, which in this case would be already saturated (it would have reached the maximum water retention capacity in a specific temperature). In this way, reducing transpiration will also reduce photosynthesis, which has a direct impact on the plant’s development and yield. That way, VPD is essential when it comes to offer the best conditions for the development of plants, also to understand its water requirements according to the nutrients used and thus adjust them correctly to meet the grower’s expectations. Starting to decrease RH . -[Day 103] Today the Y Griega started to push on her terpenes, believe it or not that plant smell stronger than the 6 giants Skunks (the Skunk strain is already a very strong smelling plant), she smell like a coffeeshop front door, the fragrance is absolutely amazing and fantastic, I will definitely grow a full crop of that strain ! -[Day 105] 42 days of Blooming folks ! The Ladies are going great so far this week the buds are comming in really nice. the smell is wonderfull Kind soil as a base media and roots organic on the top. only di water Its really nice not having to worry about the ppms and ph of water and this n that ... so far this grow is just want i need nite time temp dropped below 58 a clp times on me .. i hope it done hurt the outcome to much
