Tropicanna Poison XL Auto- Outside W10F6 8/17-23 This past week has been rainy and overcast from a tropical storm with temperatures mostly in the upper 80s. We have Hurricane Erin approaching the Bahamas heading northeast with wind gusts of 30-40 MPH. While we won’t be directly hit by the storm, we will get the outer bands of heavy winds and rain. To protect my plants, I brought all the girls inside on Tuesday 19th in preps for the storm. I inspected each one for bugs, rot or anything unusual. She is free and clear of any rot or bugs 8/19 Tropicanna Poison XL auto is 53 days from germination. Sweet Seeds says 60-75 days to harvest so she needs about a week more. Next week with the hurricane approaching, we are expecting rain for most of the week. Given the pending weather conditions for the next couple of weeks, the remainder of the grow will be in the tent where I can control the environment. I also will be using the air conditioner to drop nighttime temperature and maybe bring out pink and red colors. The stems show pink so I’m hopeful. This was their last week! They had 4 full water feeds till runoff, and the trichomes we’re looking just right by Thursday (day 67). Throughout the week I had been increasing the light intensity and ended up running at 95% of what the SF4000 can do. I have stopped doing the 48 hours of darkness awhile back, so Harvest to come! What a joy this grow has been. She was a real beauty. Absolute joy to grow...strong branches but she likes to stretch a lot. I knew wat to expect. I have grown Lemon Kush outdoors 3 times. The scrog this year was the perfect solution. I will not grow her again outdoors. This was my first time to see her finish. Seeing her flower this year, she just needs the warmth in the end. The climate here rarely offers that. I must say the dense flowers are amazing also size and yield is incredible. Update about that later. Trichomes were underdeveloped. I had to harvest early because of mould. The last 3 weeks of flower the temperatures were very low 10-15 C daytime and very very wet. I believe this stunted the plants. They made a full stop in development and exploded again in the last week. 3 days of sun did more than the 2 weeks before. Weather forecast were bad so big buds were harvested 25 september. We eventually had more sun than expected and bottom half was left until 2 october. That week made sooo much difference!! Those bottom buds finally developed some nice trichomes and turned purple. Of course I wish the big buds could have enjoyed the sunshine during that last week as well. Most of you will know, being an outdoor grower...Every year is about compromises. This year was so hot during growth and cold and wet in bloom that mould was unstoppable. After all I am very pleased with this grow and cant wait to taste some of this. Probably needs al long cure though to bring back that lemon scent. Almost seems like all that the rain washed the scent right off her😪 Keep growing y'all!

Day 68: top dressed a few days ago with some castings and build a flower and did a good watering. Definitely have been underwatering as i can finally see the lady perk up and start praying. I was doing 1 heavy watering / week but i think that should change to a 5% watering every 3 days or so. Flipping to flower this coming week. Another compost tea will be done this weekend as well in preparation for the 3 week stretch. Outdoors has reached 14 hrs of daylight so im thinking of replanting the small potted one outdoors (in the ground) after i take some cloans.

Mr. Pipi has only friends with bad Noses. No one can smell the Wild Strawberries...nontheless... looks so gooood... Biggie, Biggie, Biggie can´t you see? Day89: What can Pipi say. Every other Day some Calmag... a little bittle topDress yesterday. Pipi´s thoughts are this is girl vegged 9 Weeks and is in an 8 Liter fabric Pot. Couldn´t transplant her, but Topped and trained her. So i want Biggie Buddies, so since she´s in Flower week 3/4 that´s my last Chance to enrich the soil with dry nutrients for them to dissolve mostly and i can 'flush'. So i wanna feed her more than the 8 Litres could hold, but carefully and step by step. And just a little. No Pipi was used on this plant.

The plants would have been growing well if I were there to figure out what was wrong with them but I was on the first week of a 2 week vacation so my gf didn't know what to do with them and I could only try to give tips from afar. I assumed they would all die.

Has a nice skunky smell. Just going through her thing. Shout out to AMS(Amsterdam Marijuana Seeds) for this beautiful Afghan Feminized. She is completely done with her stretch, has starting stacking her bud sights and started to produce noticable trichomes. Giving her nothing but RSO, tiger bloom, black strap molasses and CalMag. Possibly add Bestie BloomZ this coming week. Still have along way to go, but definitely be worth it. 🔥 🎄 💕
