Day 79: Second Grow We've decided against using additional nutrients and have completely stopped fertilizing. The light cycle has been reduced to 11 hours, and we're already starting to give them cooler water. Starting Monday, I will be watering with ice water to stress the plants further, aiming for higher yield, more terpenes, and increased frost. The adjustment to the light cycle should also help the plants ripen evenly. The lights are hanging about 20 cm above the buds, which are getting thicker every day, soaking up the light intensely. In about a week, most of the plants should be ready for harvest. We plan to stop watering them for about 100 hours before harvest. During this period, I'll place ice cubes on the soil to shock the roots one last time. 48 hours before harvest, I will turn off the lights, giving the plants two days of darkness. After this period, the plants will be cut and hung to dry.

This is also done at end of week 2. I believe it kickstarts the flower phase and continues stalled growth that can happen at end of week 5 going into week 6. This week I am starting to see all around growth come to an end. I’ve implemented a trick over the last couple years that seems to work well. Along with the swell that takes place the last few weeks of flower we are gonna try and boost flower production a bit as well 😁. Thanks for all the likes and especially the comments. So the second week started and I start with grow technique and try to bend down the main line to give more light for the lower sights may increase the yield and potency. Definetly try to make several main colas and If it will be necessary I will use some ScrOG method too. I will update the second week in the second part of the week with more photos about how they reacting the start of the LST. After the natural grow style this is definetly more work and care but I really enjoy to make work with her. UPDATE #1: Start to give more nutrients. Enchanced root developers, high dose, vitamins, hormones, everything. Bend down her allday-everyday, like every 4-6 hours. I updated some pictures and videos before the week II second part. This next weeks crucial about the LST, so try to maximize the observation and acting fast if it is neccessary. Even cutted down 1-1 fan leaves because they blocked the light way so I think this will also maximize the reach of the light. Definetly exicting.

She was a pleasure to cut. Beautiful trim. So far pure berries and gas. I'll update on the smoke report once she's cured. I had a mini toke sesh earlier and it was definitely LSD. Definitely turning on some different visual/auditory receptors. It was nice and long and happy. She's only going to continue to get better. The buds are kind of fluffy but I find that all the purples I've grown turn out like that. The greens tend to produce much more weight/density. I'm not one to harp on density. I'm more about the flavor/effect.

Test Mr Hide seeds / LM301B Bestva Quantum Board Estas Marías automáticas se han hecho enormes, tienen en promedio 1 metro de altura y a mi parecer no es porque se hayan estirado por falta de nutriente en la etapa vegetativa (me encantaría saber su opinión sobre esto al verlas). Aumenté la potencia del ventilador para que tengan más movimiento y potenciar el fortalecimiento de las ramas. El hecho que se hayan hecho tan altas, me hace pensar que con las flores pueda llegar a necesitar estar más robustas en las bases. Se ha utilizado agua llovida, que leyendo un poco indican que no tiene mayor beneficio si se almacena para utilizarla posteriormente (se convierte en agua dulce común), sin embargo he seguido utilizando. Les agradezco sus observaciones para logra identificar así los errores que cometo. Buenos humos y buenas vibras

Two of the seedlings were showing some really marked chlorosis. A little odd, because all 4 buckets should be the same mix, but... I checked the EC of all the buckets and they were consistent. pH was a smidge high on those two, so I dropped it from about 5.8 to closer to 5.4/5.5. After a couple of days, I decided to just remix those two buckets. I didn't want to spend a lot of time trying to fiddle with a nutrient deficiency with autos. After a couple of days the meristem areas were coming in green again, so hopefully it's fixed! The other two plants looked fine. Edit: Immediately after writing this entry, I was like "Oooh, it's nute burn." so I dumped 1/2 of the reservoirs and replaced with filtered water to get the ppm down. pHed it to 5.5 again, and we'll see!

This week seems to be bulk week. Under the microscope it look like the Amber trichomes would be here. But not yet. I'm not fussed😎.. More weight is a good thing. Flawless finish is going to be used for the 1st time

Attempted LST but making a bit of a mess with it...

First day of the 4th week

Week 23 - kitty says hi! This lady is getting out of control. We're 4 weeks from harvesting. Autumn gets very wet and last year I had bud rot, so end of october is the last day. I really need to defoliate to give those buds all the sun they can get.

Still not given any food. It will be a few weeks until she needs food as I've just put her into a 4 ltr pot 👍

Do not let this strain get stretched as it will get fragile, the buds are VERY heavy and the branches have trouble. Si or Kracken to help Flower under blue-ish or white light helps limit the growth. Switch to HPS or Bloom lights after that has stopped. Will foxtail easily at 85F even for a limited time (couple of hours a day) Very easy trim as we defoliate Low odor not a stinker No real problems with the grow that was not induced by our lack of tent space and flowering under HPS Flowering lights totaled 750 watts 600 HID 150 LED *** Update Drying nicely may be able to pull a branch and try out tomorrow , depends on how he is doing. Dryed fast, lots of air flow and dehumidifiers. With everything going on we want this stuff in the jar soon at possible. Over dried but not worried over that right now. Very happy with the yield. Decarbing now testing this afternoon.
