Week 5, now we are talking, she is stretching and the roots are growing at a really nice rate. Feeding is almost at the recommended max without her showing signs of overfeeding, I always increase and try to push the plant but you need to go slow, step by step and see how she reacts, always give her 48 hours to see how she copes with the new dose, If she looks healthy stick to dose for the week and increase the following. A good trick to see if you plant wants more of less fertilizer is reading the ppm and check when the res level is lower after 3 days or so, if the ppm rises but the water level doesn't go down quick she has to much feeding. If the PPM stay the same or drop with quick water intake means she takes it in very happy and maybe can take more. Will continue to rise the dose till we reach the recommended max of 2.5ml/l, might play with the ratio later on.

I am cutting G13 autoflower down today. She has run her course, and is ready to be harvested. She has a strong layer of resin with a woody, skunk, sweet, and fruity aroma. She grew well considering the issue I had early, especially after the mite treatments. We beat them, and she finished well. She will hang dry for 24 hours then get a mild wet trimming. From there She will go in the cannatrol for 8 days. Then I will final trim it, and do a smoke report. 7/19: Started new nutrients today. Filled gallon jug with new nutes. Poured half of new nute mix in half gallon jug. Poured the entire half gallon jug into reservoir. 7/20: Bumped light intensity to 50% 7/21: Filled reservoir to the 2nd line today. Added a total of 1 gallon to res to get it to that line. Poured the rest of the mixed nutes for this week (half gallon) and then another half gallon of just plain water. 7/24: Bumped light intensity to 55% 7/25: Sadness today 😞.. While in the process of doing more LST today I accidentally snapped the main stem. I Panicked! Moved plant back in opposite direction to counteract the split. Will be monitoring very closely! 🙏🏾 ***** For this Grow****** “Day Air Temperature” will be the max temp of tent for the week. “Substrate Temperature” will be the average temp of tent for the week. “Night Air Temperature” will be the lowest temp of the tent for the week.

The plants have grown very fast this week, easily doubling in size. I moved them closer to the light to 90 cm from 110cm. Watering as needed and I am keeping the soil surface moist with light watering twice a day. I have fed the plants twice this week. First with a half dosage humic + fulvic acids, microbial inoculant and Seagro. The second feeding was half dose Seagrow and Biobizz BioGrow with some CalMag and Silicon. I am preparing a compost tea with some added kelp meal, insect frass and worm castings for the next feeding before I start LST.

Day 14- I gave her first “real” watering, 500 ml of extremely diluted nutrient solution. This was yesterday, and she is not showing and angry symptoms…yet. I just turn her around once in a while when I am in my tent tending the others, otherwise, not much thought this week. I still plan to let this one stretch tall before I start any LST, if I do. Space is a premium, and I am looking to get a feel for how this cultivar grows, as I have lots of these seeds.

Apple Betty Seedlings 🌱 are doing great! They are looking very healthy and happy. #1 was slow from the get-go but she has been building steam and is doing well. Routine this week was was just checking the humidifier every morning, and spritzing with my spray bottle x2 daily (very small amounts) starting at the base of the plant, but also making sure to get the exterior edges to allow those roots to be searching for water. Changed the light cycle to 18/6 around day 7, and also adjusted my BloomPlus BP 2500 to have 140 watts at the wall. Didn’t lower the light as the increased wattage seemed to slow down the stretch they initially had. Still using my small 250 watt heater behind my intake fan to draw some heat in and keep the tent nice and cozy, even during lights out (about 75-76 *F) By day 14, I started to water with a measuring cup, still using my 1 ml of Sensi Cal/Mag extra. Watering only about 1/4 cup of water all around the pot, and will wait until the soil is dry’ish (the old finger poke) before I start to increase the watering amount gradually. No nutrients yet, but I will be using the Advanced Nutrients- Grow, Micro and Bloom along with the Sensi Cal Mag extra. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨
