Week 8 Flower Last full week of flush (plus a couple days). She was taken down on Day 58 Flower after she'd faded enough. Most of her fans had died off and been plucked. I always cut them down approx half hour before the light is due to turn on. This is so the chlorophyll production is at its minimum, giving you the best flavour and smoke. Mohawk Meds: Banana Flambe (BF): Day 42, 7 Weeks from seed. Healthy & green. Battled some High temps this week. Built a DIY water cooling system in the duck work along with lowering power to the lights but moving them closer to maintain PPFD & created an intake of cooler air to my closed loop system. All these things brought temps back to low-mid 70's from low 90's I was having. Through the week BF never wilted from the heat but didn't grow as much as it should have. Weekly Environment: 85-91F, 48-54% RH, 750-850 PPFD, & 550-875 CO2. Also topped BF #2 & #3 on the 5th Node. Decided to keep #1 as a Mother.

My strawberry gorilla is really starting to be a pleasure to grow. At 1st I had it in a small tent with my gorilla cookies and the other plant was taking all the light and the tent was so small I kept having to cut back at both the plants so they would fit in the tent but now they are in the bigger flower tent by themselfs and man all the lollipoping did wanders for this plant it’s got some nice big colas. You could definitely get this plant to make huge colas if done right. Only my 3 auto so I’m figuring it out.

Slight accident this week where the red spectrum bar had popped of the railing and fell on the front row of babies and burnt them :( they’re recovering Everything seems slow in this compost/coco soil mix but hey…chugging along. I think I may go full coco next run. I believe they should start focusing on bud now have top dressed once more with compost & 2-8-4.

Here goes first flowering week. Black cream auto with LST started her way to turn purple too, but the biggest black cream auto plant and mutant one are still green. I think they look great !

1/12: lots more leaf tucking today. She's taking waterings like a champ. I'm always so worried about overwatering but she seems to be growing well 1/14: did a little more lst, so she's looking a little bit like an ugly duckling. Hoping the effort plays out. Attempted to adjust some clips and accidentally broke a stem. I splinted that up with some tape... Also my attempt at a fim is growing out... She's looking a little rough right now, but honestly, aren't we all? 1/15: watered and some leaf tucking this morning. Excited for the top to not look like a hot mess! 1/17: the ugly duckling phase is strong with this one. Gave her a good watering today and attempted some leaf tucking, only sacrificing one fan leaf.

Excited I got to run and test this genetic. Was very pleased with the result and would run it again. Very frosty, Dense nugs, and great fruity/gassy aromas. Great flavor, nice hybrid.

Hi Growmies, She has now completely stiffened and the buds start stretching along the colas. It’s still very hot here at times and temperatures climb towards 30 Celsius, hopefully that will fix itself with autumn around the corner, other than that I ordered a secret jardin temp controlled vent in order to get a bit more control of my tents temp. She already starts smelling very strong like oranges with some citrus subnotes. Will also add another fan next week to get some circulation under the screen. The time is finally here to post the harvest. I waited till it was all done and dry before updating the dairy so will add in the dry weights next on the 2nd half of the harvest entry. I enjoyed this plant a lot, its grew well and loved how it was shorter and fatter. I wonder if it was at the dame distance from the plant if It could have done even more. Had some issues with the yellowing that was happening on the other plant in this tent. I should have treated this faster with a flush but was super reluctant and it may have hurt the yields a bit. The top best looking buds looked and smelled amazing even the lower buds where doing well not so larfy like the other plant. There was crazy strong smells with this plant, sour berries and hints of lemon, it was a best smelling plant I have grown to date. This would be a great plant to grow for beginners, cant take a lot of stress and still produces quite well and even on lower wattage leds it was good. It was not the most crystally looking plant, not like the maltezerz but still had some finger hash buildup but a small amount. I feel this plant would be a winner for a rosin press. I don't plan on growing this strain out again despite me liking a lot of qualities about it. I'm only trying to grow cbd dominate plants is the main reason. If my friends really like this I have some clones so can always give them some. Speaking of clones they are doing well outside, greened up a lot and showing signs of revegging. Took some photos of the weed hang drying on day 1 in the tent and a week later to show how much they shrink. Only some of the lower growth is larfy, will make good edibles or hash, that will be a fun project to do and may include that in my projects diary. Using the regular calculation of grams harvested divided by watts used is not accurate to me, it does not account for all the time the lamps are on, the length of grow to the over all cost. The calculation that makes sense to me is this, harvested dry weight of usable cannabis buds/trim/keif/whatever in grams divided by total kw used. Could also combine it with grams per total single use costs “anything you used only for this grow and wont reuse in the next, or fractions of multi use items like fertilizers if they ½ full” and see how much you’re investing per gram. "kw" ÷ "g" = kw/g "$" ÷ "g" = $/g I have harvested 4.57oz or 129.6g on 337.2kw. 337.2kw ÷ 129.6g = 2.60 kw/g of usable cannabis. This is not an ideal ratio for me and looks like a lot of energy waste happened from the extended veg period. $35.67 ÷ 129.6g = 0.28c/g It cost 28c/g when comparing total electricity cost to gross yield, almost identical to the comparison of total electrical cost to the number of days in the grow 25c/day. How's it growing farmers? She finally came through this week, showing me some of her potential. we finally have stinky flowers and resin. if you grow this strain in DWC and know what you are doing, top it at the fifth node, you will thank me. There's just too much foliage, I tried very hard with lollipopping and daily defoliations, yet there's still so much growth. if your aim is phat colas, this strain can deliver for sure, but you gotta top it. That said, im sure im still going to get very pretty and very sticky flowers, I predict to harvest around day 90, this is day 63. We have a whole month to go, plenty of time for her to get even frostier and fatter. I also added another trellis late this week, in futile attempt to expose more flower sites and reduce the chance of mold. doing this also reduces the overall rh in the tent, which im having some issues with right now. I started feeding green sensation this week, and kept my EC close to 1.6, this turned out to be a mistake, overnight she brought that 1.6 down to 1 and made the Ph skyrocket, She clearly needed more so I increased the dose to 2 EC later in the week, this is on the high end for me personally, especially for autoflowers, lets see how she responds to it next week. I stopped my Hypochloric acid too, Green sensation has enzymes in it, and i'm not sure how chlorine acts with it, it seemed to make my water cloudy, if anyone knows why, let me know, for now its cold enough to run sterile without chlorine... Moving quickly and filling out the space they got. All girls doing well the SH still a little bit shorter than others she looks very manageable. The 10th and the Hammock look like they could get really big. Light schedule has been shifted over the last 4 days and we are now running on extended beauty sleeps. She started out pretty slowly, but blew up around preflower. Soon her side branches has matched the canopy, and soon after that every flowering site had matched the canopy. Crazy density and trichome coverage, all the buds turned either a deep purple or pink hue. Smells like fruity candy and floral cologne. Will not train her next time around, just let her do her thing since she’ll stay naturally short.
