This was a fun project that was a few years in the making and a year later to see if they would last a season for this upload to happen. Before any of this I would bike aorund town grabbing up all the old Ikea solid pine bed slats that I could find and storing them in the basement. I have a lot of wood down there, any size worked as long as I have enough of them. The hot days to find them were the first and last of the months because that's when people where moving in/out. I also kept an eye on the free section on local online classifieds as well. The entire purpose of this was to recycle as much off the streets as I could before buying anything to finalize the project. In the end I only bought sealer, screws and some takeaway/beers. All the wood was 100% free and salvaged off the streets of Toronto saving it from the dumpster bin. After collecting all the slats for about 2 years I was playing aorund with them on how I wanted to make this work. I had previously done a little project like this before but I messed it up and the boxes where crap. did not last longer then 2 seasons, they where thin and shallow as well could not grow much of anything in them. I Was talking to my friend who is renovating their house and we brainstormed some ideas on the boxes, I found some designs I liked online and said lets make something like this out of what I have here. We tossed out a few of the design features when looking at them as it would have been wasted wood and extra work not needed. If I had more wood them maybe it could have been an option but simple was the name of the game. They taught me what I needed to know like how the miter saw and sander worked, plus all the other tools I was using. They did help out with a table saw and creating the triangle support joints in the corners, They used some pine left overs they had while making a staircase indoors. I did not feel up to the task of using a table saw given all the relatives I know who have lost a finger to them. In the end we decided the design would be three boards high and take an alternating pattern on corners. layer one short, layer 2 long, layer 3 short. Went with a galvanized and painted deck screw so it can take the weathering. Ran into some problems like making everything level as some of the boards were warped and other ones had undesired aspects like knots and tacky sticker goo I could not remove. So I used them for the base that will not been seen so much. Clamped everything down and called it a day. Once it was all done and over with, I then brought them back home from my buddies work garage and started to seal them. I went with a boiled linseed oil as its a food safe option should the wood degrade into the soil I will plant in them. I will need to reapply it to the boxes year after year but the main coat is the most important one and I put it on 3 layers with a good dry in between coats. the inside of the boxes that where coated did not degrade at all as the sun did not hit them so it will not need a new coat just the outside. Overall the end result was very impressive for myself, I've never taken a woodworking class ever and It was a near perfect outcome for me. Heavy Duty Planter Boxes for all my gardening needs. I made a last min decision to add in a plastic liner to preserve the wood even longer and stapled that into the frame. it has held up quite well and may need replacing end of 2nd or 3rd year out in the sun. I'm 4 days into flower. Topped all the plants nice and even. Then removed all bud sites below the top 4 on each branch. Leaving fan leaves intact. I allowed them to recover for 2 days. Then flipped the lights. Saskatoon Berry is stacking nodes very closely. I'm thinking these will be nice big colas.

It's the second time i grow OO. They were so frosty and tasty, need more.

This week I started giving Green Sensation to the large plants. They are blooming rapidly from now on. I will add a stick as a support, because I feel that the plants will be too heavy for themselves,I don't want them to collapse. My small daughter still received power roots, and blooming nutrients. Unfortunately she is not growing as good as the rest, but I will keep her anyways.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t react immediately, so the ladies were without water again for a few hours. I’ve ordered a TrolMaster program device and additional sensors AMP-3 for pH, EC and humidity, and temperature control. No more messing around! Water consumption is gradually decreasing, and electrical conductivity of the water is slowly rising. I’m starting to reduce the strength of the nutrient solution. Each subsequent tank refill will be at approximately 1.0EC. Das Wasser zum gießen ist immer wie folgt zusammengesetzt: 9 l Regenwasser +1 l Leitungswasser. Dann Düngemenge Hesi wie oben beschrieben dazugeben und im Anschluss den PH Wert anpassen auf 5,7-5,9. Am Anfang der Woche die Pflanzen hart entlaubt 😁. Sie haben es zusammen mit dem Superscropping gut weggesteckt. Beim Superscropping habe ich 2 zukünftige Blüten kaputt gemacht.... Fuck🙁, aber wird schon wieder....Innerhalb von 3 Tagen ordentlich gewachsen + viele neue Blätter produziert. Die letzten 5 Tage war die aktive Zuluft an. Da die Außentemperatur stark gefallen ist, ist die Zuluft seit gestern wieder aus. Die RLF liegt kontant zwischen 43 und 48 %. Eine der Ladies ist im Vergleich bis jetzt kleiner, diese wird nun höher aufgestellt. Ein leichter Geruch macht sich breit.... ich hoffe die Damen wachsen noch ca. 20-25 cm.

Lots of smells have become their own... The fried banana has this crazy skunk smell with a real earth dirt smell once the skunk fades... The orange cake NO kidding, smells like a fresh peeled orange and some kind of batter smell... It's nuts... The big Z has the immediate Skittles blast with a earthy afternote... And the paint is just like the last one and smells real chemical like! When u say the name it makes u smell the paint... Is that just me???? Hahaha anyways... Thats what I got .. everything is going amazing and for day 37 I think they've filled out real nice... Now hopefully they fatten up in the next 20-30 days!!!!

So despite many obstacles and hurdles, we are on the last week of flowering hopefully the heat stays down for the next few days, and I can get some color into these nugs the sativa Room may need a few more weeks no big deal. This is typical of sativa leaning strains. this will give me a bit of a stagger in between harvest so I don’t have to do all the work in one day which is a good thing .

3 of the 4 plants didn't do much stretching at all. I'm excited to compare the harvest between all of them too see which yields more. The one plant that did stretch seems like it will take a little bit longer than the others to be ready, but I am not sure. Had I known they wouldn't have stretched much I would have considered some light defoliation to increase light pen but this will be a nice experiment. As of 11/23 the plants have stopped doing any vertical growing and I can tell the buds are starting to fatten up a bit and getting frosty. I am leaving the tent open now 24/7 to help control the humidity, trade-off is I can smell the plants from my office two stories up. The sent is very fresh and fruity so it's not so bad. We will see how my family feels when they visit for Thanksgiving 😆

UPDATE AFTER A LONG TIME, i'll post more often. I only recovered a few videos from last couple years to share. Mango is dense, but doesn't give out much trichome as I expected. So, I took a risk and poke a hole in the stem to gave a lot of stress to the plant, so the plant gave out a lot of trichomes and the bud becomes a bit bigger.

A NOTE ABOUT greenhouse zstrawberry the scent of the leaves is reminiscent of lemon peels it is very strong and more pungent than the others it differs from other houses the log suffered mortally from the heat the leaves curled up without water. HOT WEEK😵 the temperatures have risen abundantly and for three days the plants have not taken water they have lost a lot of foliage but I took advantage of the incident to defoliate and implement lollipopping I hope that B-52 will sanitize the structure before fertilizing with big bud in the meantime I have started to fertilize with SPRINT linea herba and fertilizer for flowering after several rinses I will keep low with the fertilizer and try to water more

Heavy defoliation this week of fan leaves and flowering sites. I wanted to let her grow naturally to see her potential, but due to size and room in the tent I had to strip her. I removed any flowering sites that were farther than 30 inches from the light. I thought she would be stunted this week but she still grew 7 inches. Damn fastbuds. Til next week!
