TRANSITION DAY 10: This lady is my latest favourite. She is progressing amazingly under the new lights and has now started to flower properly. she has been putting her first bract pistils out since day 5 of flip. This is the fastest i have seen this occur with my grows. She has fought back from the stripping ,prior to flip, and her regrowth is virile and very strong looking. I think she will be in my top 10 of strains to grow. Her response to the quadline style has been excellent and i dont think it has slowed her down at all. She is stretching well and will hopefully be setting herself up for long thick colas. I need to strip out all the lower small bits of growth and maybe a few hopeful mains. her size has limited her possibilities with the space i have i think. I am going to be spacing my girls out a little more and trusting the lights will still give me adequate coverage to the canopies edge. We will see. lol All in all i am enjoying working with this strain so far and imagine a future grow to include a few more. 5-24-20: Lower leafs are falling off from lack of light. Almost panicked and doused her with nutrients but thought twice. Remembered what happened last time with last plant, and results were N burn. Shes looking nice and healthy overall. Good covering of trichomes and only small bump was a calcium deficiency that showed in about 4 or 5 leafs. Disappeared as fast as i noticed it and didnt take any action because no other leafs were affected and havent noticed a change since.

At cruising altitude now. Moved the nutrients to full bloom mix and just keeping the PH even. Defoliated only a bit to keep as many buds exposed to direct light as I can. Around mid-week everyone’s crystals showed up to finally catch up to Pinex1. Pinex 1 is much further in bud development and I can tell she is going to be a fat one. Pinex 2 is a vigorous grower. I happened to take 2 clones from her and both are rooted and happy. She had the fattest stems and I can never seem to give her enough nutrients. Her leaves are a lighter green and clearly want the light. I’m interested to see if I want to make another grow from the clones or not. Pineapple Skunk is a very attractive plant. The leaves are dark green and the buds are bright white. Now that the crystals are coming in there is even more white and they just look awesome. The buds are starting to fill in more. I hope they get really fat by the end of flower but hard to imagine anything catching up to Pinex1.

Last couple of weeks she's been affected by high tent temps, hence all her curled leaves 😓 She is also a big plant in her little 10L fabric pot. I've noticed fabric pots really do dry out faster than airpots. That is a good thing, but you have to watch her drying out too quickly also! I think she'd make a monster plant in a 20L or 40L airpot.😍

Still only just watering 200mls every second day, she's got a got nice purple stem, looks like it picked up some of the black dominas colours.

This plant is growing well, I transplanted them this week into 3 gallon pots from 1 gallon pots. Structure on this plant is pretty nice and visually pleasing to the eye lol.

The buds on WW#1 are packing on weight, the heartiness of these plants amazes me, I feel it must be the great genetics from Dinafem and RQS because it’s certainly not my skills as a grower. I think I’m nute burning the buds a tiny tiny bit, I’m currently doing a 3:2:1 ratio of the florabloom series 2-3 times a day till run off. Going to slightly lower the amount of nutes and see where that leads me. The smell coming off the two strains is incrediblely distinct and delicious smelling, I find myself standing in front of the plants wafting the air towards me. My carbon filter seems to not be working very well, although I’m not really complaining as stealth isn’t an issue for me, I’d wear this as a cologne... lmao End of week comment: things are well. No major major issues. WW1 nugs are massive and sticky, extremely dense. Lower buds are super lose, probably due to the looming beer bottle nugs above them blocking light. No idea when to harvest though- if anyone has any advice I’d appreciate it. I literally cannot tell the difference between trichomes with my 40x loupe. They all seem clear to me. Maybe some cloudy ones.

Starting to see leaves browning buds still all fine doing well, going to keep eye on it and see how it goes next few days and try to find proper route of issue, overall still please as buds all seem totally fine

Santa has been working hard so he can give out lots of smelly xmas presents. He has also been working on taking better pics of the buds. Ps. My tent is in my closet in my office (I have been WFH for 2 years). Nothing better on a stressful day than opening up the tent and staring into the green, my type of therapy. Has helped me get through my last semester of gradschool while also working full time.

14. Woche, P1 fällt morgen, die ist soweit gut denke ich (ca. 20% aufwärts Bernstein Trichome). P2 braucht leider noch ca. 1 woche länger. 93. Tag ist für P1 das Ende, sie wurde heute vorgetrimmt und zum trocknen aufgehängt. Ergebnisse gibt es wenn die P2 auch geerntet wird, denke nächste Woche um die Zeit. Aber eins kann ich euch versichern, is mit Abstand die schwerste die ich ist jetzt hatte😊🍀🍀. Gebt euch auch mal wie viele Trichome die gute produziert hat, Duft is noch sehr pflanzlich, Blüten sind ziemlich fest gewesen hoffe das es nach dem trocknen noch so ist. Alles in allem super Run. Hoffentlich is die gute bei den Top 10 das wäre ein träumchen, wobei ich es wirklich jedem gönne zu gewinnen und bei soviel starker Konkurrenz geht ich wahrscheinlich unter. Skipped a week in my journal due to travels. Had my neighbor water my plants. Having some minor early deficiencies with my photoperiod plants (particularly the chem brulee)... so I decided to go ahead and give everything a solid feeding of Foop Bloom 1, 2 and Sweetener. This is their first ever bottled feeding. Have been running on supersoil and a prayer. Also top dressed everything and mulched with rice straw to help with the soil drying out a bit too quickly. Leaves have been yellowing on all three. Mostly relegated to the interior of the plants. Chem Brulee is looking a bit too yellow overall, as well. French Macaron is a 66in. Chem Brulee is 56in. Pineapple Meatball is 45in. I have a sneaking suspicion that my neighbor didn't water them quite enough while I was gone. Will probably continue with the Foop feedings... probably at least once per week. Don't want to overdo it. Also top dressed with my flowering top dress mix and mulched all plants with a thin layer of rice straw. 8/4 Sprayed with Neem Oil and Castile Soap 8/5 Sprayed with Gravenstein Apple FFJ and OHN 8/6 Sprayed with Neem Oil and Castile Soap (this will likely be the last time I spray with Neem Oil, as I don't want residual oils as buds start swelling. Also fed 1/4 strength FOOP to ensure we head off any deficiencies.

After one month late, two girls gave me nicebuds smelling diesel and strawberries.. Two other are still in flowering for 3weeks i think.. Colas are good size, the head buzz will blow you

Hello growmies! Welcome to week four of An Epsilon Adventure! The girls are already transitioning into flower, I will get some photos of that later in the week. Daily Updates: ### Week 4 Day 1 11:00 16/7 Removed some lower growth. ### Week 4 Day 2 23:00 17/7 Tallest plants were showing signs of heat stress so I have raised the light about 30cm more. Unfortunately this now means the lower plants aren't getting as much light as they could, so I have put the cycle back to 20h (I may even increase it). ### Week 4 Day 3 14:00 18/7 Photographed. ### Week 4 Day 3 19:00 18/7 Fertigated 2l. Okay these girls are now starting to concern me a little on the basis that they are supposed to grow to "50-70cm". At just over 3 weeks old the shortest of these girls is 53cm, the tallest (plant 3) is now 76cm tall. The worrying thing is they do not at all look like they are slowing down and as they are just pre-flowering now, the flowering stretch hasn't even started. So I need some genuine advice here now: Do I keep the faith and hope that they don't exceed the space I have? Do I top or super crop them now? These ladies are beastly, at the end of the week I am going to take some individual videos and more photos to really try and capture how magnificently well these girls are doing. I think I may be in the process of growing the biggest Epsilon F1's so far? Exciting to find out! ### Week 4 Day 4 21:00 19/7 James has assured me they wont go much more than 85 so I am not going to mess with them. They are due a defoliation at the end of this week though. Measured each plant as follows: Plant 1: 81cm Plant 2: 75cm Plant 3: 80cm Plant 4: 67cm Plant 5: 59cm Plant 6: 58cm Might photograph later or leave until tomorrow. ### Week 4 Day 5 10:00 20/7 Photographed and measured. Plant 1: 85cm Plant 2: 79cm Plant 3: 81cm Plant 4: 71cm Plant 5: 63cm Plant 6: 63cm So they've all grown about 4cm in about 13 hours, except plant 3 - which seems to have slowed down a lot. The top of plant 3 is also the most advanced looking in terms of pistils. I forgot to take close ups of the preflowers I will do that tomorrow. I have had to raise the light again today and it is now much further away than the younger plants than I would like. So I am thinking about adding a 300w LED into my 4x4. I have another 3 inches I can raise the light on the hangers, after that I can removed the adjustable handers and tie it to the top of the tent... that'll gain me another 4 or 5 inches. If I need to go higher my only option would be to set them up without the tent which is not an option right now. Hopefully they all just stop getting taller now and focus on flowering... but my gut tells me there's more growth to come. Watch this space! ### Week 4 Day 6 15:00 21/7 Measured. Next week will see the full transition to flower and we will start to see the bud sites developing. I have no idea at this point what the heights will look like at the end of next week. Did a top dress of some grow powder dry nutes from botannicare. Just giving her rain water for now. Again—- temps, humidity, and clouds have been aalllllll over the place. One day it’s 86 and the next is 66 with nights in the 60s or 40s—- humidity and rain have been 100% down to 50%. All within a week.
