Her first week above ground! I didn't do a very good job with this strain last time 😏 Lets see what happens this time.

Flowering described earlier than I expected, more than 1 week after the vegetation phase would be bigger and more beautiful, has an effect with pleasant sensations and euphoric as the sativa dominant is accustomed to the aroma of lemon and citrus.

She’s a beauty like her sister purple punch! She was number 2 to pop up (strawberry pie) and took to training straight away top of the class on mission catch up to purple... I defoliated and tied down through the weak shape shifting her into a lovely little bush! She has started to show signs that she also will start her pre flower stretch, so I’m excited to see what happens! I shuffled them around to suit age height etc as I will have to start raising my lights! In bloom I set these mars hydro leds to 12” and 18” during veg!

Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. Welcome to week 3 📅 Day 15 6/21/2021 She is now feeding from the reservoir and things are going great. The micro top has almost fully recovered and the undergrowth is growing nicely. I would like to say a few words about Mars Hydro. the TS 1000 is a great light and I love the fact that the power supply is capable of being separated from the light and located outside of the tent to keep the heat down. I also like the fact that you can control the light intensity and daisy chain with another light witch is what I plan on doing. Update Day 18 6/24/2021 she is growing fast and drinking lots as I have had to top up the res. I have also put the TS 1000 at 100% and the plants love it

Pre-flowers have appeared!! ------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------- Aug 9 Found out the hard way that my ph meter needed adjusting. In fact, now that I think about it, I didn't test it when I purchased it so it may have been off slightly the entire time 😱 Was off by +0.7% Also may have thrips, but I don't see any. Perhaps the white spots on the leaves are ph related? Funny story though, within 10 minutes of having had the white spots pointed out to me, a ladybug flew into the lung room. Caught it and released it into the tent 😈 If I find her corpse within a few days, we'll know there are no thrips! Removed the two affected leaves anyway. ------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------- Aug 10 Ordered nematodes and 30 ladybug larvae, just to be safe. I'm also contemplating setting up a ladybug hotel/lodge for a year round supply of predators 😈 (Hopefully) Chased out the bad ph with a new batch of feed. 6.3%ph and didn't even need PH Min!!
