Week 4 ( 22/8/23 - 28/8/23)

Smell is so nice now, skunky with almost a sweet spice in the mix. I started bagging them at 7pm on July 19th. After 8-10days flower was showing. Idk, I'm actually happy with my slow going process. I mean these girls were started around the very end of March indoors. Now, almost mid August I'm just a little over a week into flower. Slow process people. Gunna be worth the wait though 😏 All in all, I'd say if you live in Zone 3b, growing pure Sativa outdoors is not the most optimal choice. It can be done successfully though with a little extra care and attention paid.

Apologies that this took me so long to update! This harvest was probably my second favorite, after my Choc Mint OG. Even tho the yeild was low due to only having 1 plant after a season on downs.

Day 21 Of flower I did a lollipop / heavy trim (feel like I could have done a lil more) and I have to say I'm running out of room with my lights it's pretty much at 9 inch away from the tallest part of the plant the ppfd high but using a phone app But not seeing no burn on the leafs The intake of water has been up to a gallon an a half (always do some kinda of runoff) pH has been around 6.1 Day 23 Of flower and I added the AC infinity fan (day 1 of fan(actually couple hrs and I think I been missing out on a oscillating fan so get one) still been slowly uping the dimmer it's been getting warmer in the tent so I turned my AC on NOTES: ( btw it's April and I live in a new apartment and pretty much start growing after a month or so of moving in(moved in November started in the middle of January) and seems like this place holds heat so it's going to be a hot summer) but I can see myself down the road getting a (portable AC for the drying if I want to reach that 60°/60% ) plus that dehumidifier kicks off a some heat and my dumbass is growing in the room I sleep in so since all this I've slept on my couch a few times and plenty more to come

Used royal queen seed fems popped 4 and 3 where successfully. Through veg stage no problems quite sturdy plants growth rate was the same on all round, had abit of nitrogen deficiency. Flower stage everything changed plants started to grow at different weeks and need separate feeds which became annoying, think this was done to pheno types being different. Drying stage: I used this new herb dryer called wedryer for to plants and hung the other in the tent. Wedryer works if you have small yield as can’t fit a lot, drys within a week though but also looses flavour. Have to wet trim bud and then leaves bud flat in one side due to them sitting on the dryer netting. Has fan with carbon filter which stops smells. (But myself prefer hang drying). Used trimbag to finish the buds off love this product and recommend to others to buy.

Diese Woche wurde low stress Training bei der runtz gemacht. Die Purple Punch hat Probleme im Wachstum, leider kann ich mir das nicht erklären. Die Runtz bekommt schon erste anzeichen einer mangelversorgung da sie bereits buds produziert und die anderen pflanzen noch nicht, wahrscheinlich stress bedingt.. Ja sonst bleibt nicht viel zu sagen, ich habe meine probleme mit der Luftfeuchtigkeit in den Griff bekommen und habe derzeit nurnoch probleme mit der Temperatur Nachts. Nächste woche werde ich den lichtzyklus wahrscheinlich auf 12-12 stellen und damit die Veg. Phase beenden und in Flower gehen. Peace out ✌️

Hey! My ladies are growing massive!! Tall and bushy! Eventually I had to change the height of the lights as I noticed some signs of hheet stress! After applying that big AC to the room, I could manage the heet but still the plants didn’t like it very much! So Im leave 1Veg/2Bloom lights on for 20h,but increase the lights for a few hours evry one a while to maximum. I also did my last defoliation and made a video for you guys . Best of luck!

Its that tome of the grow its time to flush and this time i'm trying a new product, its called flawless finish and i can wait to see what the results are. also so everyone knows i am using tap water and it has a ppm of around 500. As you can see the buds are nice and fat and the trichomes are right ware i want them. The flowers are starting to change color and i hope they will continue to change. On a side note the all red light that i have been using for the last 2 weeks seams to be working out and the flowers look the be getting more trichome coverage. Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different!
